“The driver came to collect a package, I live in a flat and he never followed the guidelines to call the flat. When I went down to hand him the package he started banging on our key pad and was very aggressive. As a woman on her own this is unacceptable. I suggest someone from yodel looks at their staff and gets rid of this person that came to collect my package”
“Awful service. Took 2 days off to recieve a delivery whic hwas very valuble. Both days I just got an email saying sorry we missed you, check your calling card. There wasn't even a calling card left either time! The second time I ran out to see, but no sign.”
“Dodgy Courier company
The worst courier company I have ever seen. An item was sent to me via Yodel and the next thing I got from the Yodel was that the item has been delivered to me. Ironically, I was working from home, was aware that the item would be delivered on that day and was on the lookout for the delivery.
On getting the email, I contacted Yodel and they started tossing me around for four days. I requested to speak to the manager, but I was denied access. Eventually, after four days of continuous calls, the company representative told me that they have realised that the item was not delivered and they could not asked me to go back to the company that sent it to me for them to raise a claim.
This is the worst customer service experience. The company looks very dodgy considering the fact that the item never leaves their depot and they sent an email that it has been delivered. So disappointing.”

Supposed to deliver to a BP Garage, driver said it had moved address and returned to sender. Absolute rubbish, garage is very much still there and even Stevie Wonder couldn’t miss it.
Pathetic customer service response afterwards.

“My order was out for delivery 23/10/2021
To BP Service Station Carmondean Livingston. I tracked on the APP and the delivery driver stated that the BP was no longer there and must have moved. The BP has been in situ for years and it was still there this morning when I passed.
The parcel has now been returned to sender and customer service was as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Not for the first time Yodel have screwed up their deliveries and what’s worse, their customer service response is woeful.”

“I ordered an item from ebay yodel were supposed to deliver on 16 October I remained at home all day for the delivery. No parcel arrived and yet the Tracking showed it to be delivered after many sessions on their webchat I was fobbed of with so many excused and a totally fabricate report from their driver. I received two phone calls from there customer services who tried to get me to say the situation was resolved when it certainly was not. I would never recommend this company”

My property isn't hard to find and never before has a courier failed to find it. I've no missed calls from Yodel.

“Yodel have now bought out Collect+, and are currently destroying their once-excellent reputation.
In 2 weeks, I have sent a parcel to a customer who hasn't received it, (although Yodel say they have delivered it, without any evidence whatsoever), and today another customer received an item that was smashed to hell which was sent in reinforced card, with more reinforcement inside, with a deep and wide puncture mark pushed right through the middle of the parcel. Their claims department can barely understand English, and quite frankly couldn't give a damn. I cannot afford to ruin my reputation by using this company, and have now switched back to Royal Mail. Thinking of using Yodel/ Collect+? THINK AGAIN.”
“Delivery from Cotswolds was late. Got no notification from Yodel and when I contacted them they said that they would get back to me. This never happened. Also, despite my request to leave my package on my rear porch, it was left at my front door in full view of anyone passing. They never even rang my doorbell to let me know it had been delivered. Very unprofessional and slipshod company. I will be notifying my supplier, Cotswolds, of my terrible experience with Yodel and urging them to ditch this absolutely useless company.”
“My claim about damage gate from Yodel courier was closed as I didn’t provide cctv footage. Service person on 7 emails ignore my question how driver come to my property if gate was locked. They don’t see issue as I don’t have evidence”

Company lies about picking up parcel - messages saying it’s not available or that it’s been collected when it hasn’t. Scheduled pickup times come and go and are meaningless. The call center is basically robots, and if you get through to a human they have no way to contact the driver.
Worst courier service I’ve ever wasted my time with. Seriously abominable.

“On at least three occasions I have received an email telling me that Yodel has delivered a package to my address, or that a card was left, or that the package had been handed to me. One every occasion it was untrue, and I had to contact Yodel to try to track the package. This always takes a long time because their chat operators are always very busy (handling complaints I assume). On each occasion I was told that SatNav confirmed that the driver had been in the area, and I was then asked to ask my neighbours whether they had received the package - which was obviously missing the point since I had already made clear that the driver claimed to have delivered it to me. On each occasion the enquiry was eventually passed back to the depot for a "driver interview", resulting eventually in the missing package eventually appearing quietly, unannounced, and with neither explanation nor apology, on my doorstep. This is an atrociously useless delivery service.”
