“A package to be delivered to my house that was clearly marked was delivered to wrong address, a nasty neighbour. I had given specific instructions not to deliver to this neighbour’s address. I had even given the What3Words code to make for a foolproof delivery but this was not to be. I emailed this Isle of White Distribution, who you subcontracted the delivery to expecting at least a smidgeon of an apology. As they never replied I can only assume that this is the standard of service that Yodel and Isle of White Distribution strive to achieve.”

“Tracking shows attempted delivery - we are home with 7 CCTV cams - nobody come, then showed item delivered. It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact yodel, the menu just runs in circles, loop - no way of complaining. “Absolute waist of time worst delivery service out there. I'm not one for writing bad reviews but yodel is the pits twice this week I've had delivery's due via yodel first one said I had refused the delivery,the courier never came near my house and I had door camera footage to prove this two days later the courier left the parcel on the doorstep. Now today another package was supposed to have been delivered today by 15.36 so used the yodel tracking app followed it until it said one more delivery before me then surprise surprise the tracking app said we need more information about your address and no delivery attempted. I'm boiling with rage and there is no way of contacting yodel,you can try to use the chat bot great if you like going around in circles. From now on I will check with the supplier what courier service they use is yodel I won't be purchasing that item.”

I was just sent round in circles. I have sorted my issue out to some degree, but not as I would have liked. Very frustrated. Poor.

“Had a home collection scheduled for a Vinted item. On the day, they sent me a message with a tracking number and an expected time slot for collection. I was at the house all day. I saw the courier coming all the way to my building, then my collection was next. The tracker went right to the building (probably delivering something), then the link became invalid and the tracking disappeared. The time slot passed, and no show. Asked their support chat what happened, the vague reply was that "the driver could not find the parcel" and that it was not possible to reschedule the collection, "not our problem" vibe. I understand unforeseen circumstances, not blatant lies. This company is a void of competence and accountability.”
“What a terrible delivery company. I have had two parcels collected from my house to be delivered. Despite them being well packaged, bubble wrapped and in strong cardboard with duc tape AND Fragile tape all over it. Both parcels were delivered broken. I witnessed the collection driver throw the parcel in the back of the van to start so I didn’t have much hope of them getting there in one piece right from the start. I will never ever use this service again. They don’t even deserve 1 star.”
“Ordered from Timberland. Delivery from Yodel. Message that they tried to deliver. I was in all day. Then arranged to collect from depot. No parcel at depot and staff clueless. Aylesham depot. Timberland refunded. Ordered again the following week but this time to a local collection point. Received message that they tried to deliver and then parcel returned to Swansea depot all within an hour of each other. I live 6 hours from Swansea. Guess what they haven't a clue where the parcel is. Please do not ever use Yodel. Shocking company”
“My experience with Yodel has been extremely poor. The level of service has consistently fallen far below reasonable expectations. Communication has been unreliable, collection windows have not been respected, and tracking updates have been inaccurate to the point of being misleading.
Based on my experience, the service feels disorganised and poorly managed. Drivers have marked attempts that did not happen, and collections have been missed without explanation. The customer experience has been frustrating, time-wasting, and entirely inconsistent.
I am expressing my personal opinion as a customer, but I would strongly advise others to be cautious when relying on Yodel for time-sensitive or important deliveries. My trust in the service has significantly declined, and I do not consider it dependable.”
“I was looking out my kitchen window yesterday afternoon and saw what I thought was some waste paper that had blown over the back garden fence after the bins had been emptied in the morning. I went out to pick it up, only to discover it was two parcels which had been thrown over the fence by a Yodel driver. It was raining, so it was lucky that I spotted them before they got soaked. My partner and I were in the whole day and would have heard if someone had knocked at the front door, so it's pretty obvious that the driver hadn't bothered trying to deliver at the front door after failing to gain access through the locked back gate.”
“Had my children's advent calenders for over a week, still no delivery date and it's the 2nd December so useless now. Spoken to 2 different customer service agents online who were no help, also made an official complaint with no response. At least the company I ordered from gave me a refund so I've been able to go to out and buy some more”
“Yodel delivery person lazy as hell. Doesn't pick up my delivery. Came to building door take picture and left. He is sooo lazy happened twice. Yodel app doesn't allow me to take the shop drop off because only pick up option. Yodel fail me twice. More than dissoppointed and fed up.”
“Door to door collection is a joke. 4th time the driver didn't turn up, they take a picture of either my road, not even my house, or blank picture and i get notifications: sorry we have missed you. One time I have seen a small car passing by my house, full of parcels in the back sit. Clearly they book 50 collections or something and the driver is unable to fit them all. Never ever use them again”
“Waiting for doors sent by Wren Kitchens. Yodel tracking is a joke, keeps telling me at the last minute there's an issue with your address please chat with us. I live in a normal house on a normal road that every other delivery driver seems to be able to find. You then can't ever get to speak to a human and the phone bot only gives you options that don't match what you want.And then it cuts you off. Live chat online.It's a similar joke where they just give you stock answers.The whole time. So frustrating....

“My parcel was scheduled to arrive 13:18–15:18 today, but at 2pm I received an email saying they attempted delivery. I specifically requested delivery to my work address, where I was clearly available—my office has large glass windows and doors, so the driver clearly didn’t even try.
I contacted customer service and all I got was a generic apology and a promise that the driver would try again tomorrow. How can they guarantee the same thing won’t happen again? Extremely poor service, with drivers who lie about attempted deliveries.”
