Again worst company ever. My mum ordered me a birthday gift from marks and Spencer's on the 19th of December. It was due on the 20th by yodel. I waited in all day and kept a eye on the delivery statuses on the website. At 1.43 a van pulled up outside my flat . I live above a shop so I was watching from the window. The driver got out his van opened up the back door got in to obviously get my parcel then 5 minutes later got back out and returned to the driver side!! He then drove away!!! Immediately I messaged them on Facebook as it was the easy option. I was told that it was still out for delivery and would arrive by 9pm . I explained that the driver had been already but no one listened or seemed to understand. All day this continued. Another person said it would arrive by 7pm. . I just couldn't believe the things I was been told. I finally got half an apology but no explanation why my parcel didn't arrive even though they showed up. Also they said a calling card had been left, which there had not and the time was 2.17 which it was not! I kept all my Messages luckily . So the delivery day got changed to the 21st. So dat here waiting again! No explanation nothing. The driver apparently has been reprimanded though. But I'm not allowed to know what happened. I don't know how a company can still be allowed to operate with such bad reviews. So annoyed

This company is a joke. The delivery: I was expecting a parcel and they (supposedly) came on the 11th of December when I wasn't home. But after that day I was home every single day and no one came, but on their website they said they came every day and could not access the property. Indeed, you have to call an interphone to have access, but they didn't do that. This was an Amazon order and I order from Amazon very often and not a single time there were problems with the deliveries. Drivers would just call the interphone or call me on my mobile and someone would go at the gate and pick up the product. Easy as that. So Yodel either didn't bother coming to deliver again, or came, looked at the gate, and just left without calling the interphone. After this and after paying loads for the transport, they asked me to go collect the product from Castleton which is very far from where I live in Manchester. Customer service: I contacted them through their live chat and Facebook every day, and every day they said the same thing, that they'll arrange a re-delivery and arrange that the driver will call when he's at the gate. That never happened. Whenever I contacted them they used the same phrases as if they just copied and pasted everything. Some of the live chat operators even kept saying "sorry, there's nothing we can do", so I had to disconnect and connect to other operators. Then I called, but there was only a robot I could talk to and nothing was solved. I asked for a phone number where I can call and talk to an actual person, they couldn't give me one. The experience: This was supposed a Christmas present and I never got it, but instead I got frustrated, annoyed and ripped off. It's ridiculous. Conclusion: Never use this company. They are unprofessional, they have horrible customer service, I could even say they are lazy and can't be bothered to come again after one failed delivery attempt. Lost my money, and I still don't have the Christmas present for someone dear. Thanks YODEL! You should change your motto to "Your delivery is none of our concern".

Dreadful service. Unreliable. They keep saying parcel will arrive that day but never does. Only thing that seems to work is their web chat but I think customer service advisors just fob you off.

An absolute disgrace of a company. 3 days I sat waiting for a parcel. One day they left a card pinned on the rear gate of my house, why didn't they knock on the front door? I was sitting 2 yards away. Next day, didn't even turn up but status of the parcel is that they turned up but I was out. Bullshit, no-one knocked on my door. Next day, after ringing them, they never showed up again. No card, just that I was out, bollocks again. 3 days of waiting, nothing. I wish that the Yodel driver has a shit Christmas and gets a punch in the face. Arseholes

They never collected parcel, even when I rebooked collection 3 times. Poor customer service. I tried to make contact with Yodel Customer Service but as always this is futile, navigating through various options and then ultimately being cut-off

Yodel twice now hasn´t been able to find my address. And also twice delivered it to a neighbour. That "neighbour" lives miles away. Contacting their support is nothing but a waste of time. They won´t give you any extra information and simply ignore you actually paid for their service. 3 times now I have contacted them to get the item redelivered on time, but the parcel is still lost, they keep claiming to deliver tomorrow (whenever that is according to YODEL terms & services) and simply lie in such an obvious way, that I will never ever use their services again.

No tracking unable to speak to anyone just kept being told out for delivery not a patch on other delivery company's Would never use again and definitely wouldn't buy from any retailer that uses yodel for delivery

Incompetent and deceiptful. Will be making a formal complaint. Waited in for a parcel to be delivered all day and then checked on tracking to find a note saying the parcel could not be delivered. No note and no call on the intercom (we live in a block of flats so all the driver needs to do is follow the instructions on the intercom to call me) Arranged a re-delivery with instructions to call my mobile when the driver arrived at my flat or call me on the intercom. Sat in all day the second time and then at 15:22 note on tracking to say driver could not deliver. Called the helpline furious at two wasted days for a parcel I still don't have. First person gave usual fluff about the driver not being able to deliver. When I queried specifics like how come the driver did not call me I was told the drivers don't have phones. Was told the driver left a note but our postboxes are in the building so he/she would have had to call me to get inside. No card left. It seems to me the driver simply drove up to the flat, looked at the door and then left. When I escalated to a manager given even more evasive answers and when asked agin about the drivers not having phones given evasive answers again. Will be checking the CCTV to see if this driver even visited our flats. Understand there sometimes being issues but delivering parcels is YODEL's business so why does this seem to be so difficult for them especially when I made it so easy? Also, find being evasive and or possibly dishonest when asked about specifics only exasperates my frustration. Will now be writing a formal complaint about my wasted time and effort. Found manager evasive and reluctant to give out complaints department address and took me pointing out it is a requirement for them to provide one for him to tell me it is on their website. Lets hope I actually get this parcel which is a gift for my husband's birthday. Will never use YODEL again. Update: So after speaking to the manager where we (thats right, the manager had no suggestions or ideas) suggested the parcel be delivered to a click and collect near where we live the parcel was instead sent again to our address and unsurprisingly the driver decided not to call us or use our intercom to reach us so according to tracking he/she could not deliver. I cannot believe the sheer incompetence and can only conclude that this must be some sort of wind up. Also promised by the same manager that the driver would contact me regarding the issues I have had and would give an explanation as to why they could not deliver but have received no such call. He told me he would open an 'investigation' but have heard nothing. Still no parcel and struggling to find some way of getting hold of the item I have paid YODEL to deliver to my flat.

Absolute morons - cannot seem to locate a work adress even though every other company seems to be able to - posting stuff through random letterboxes - doesn't tell you where but because the status is delivered you don't have a leg to stand on in regards to a refund - twice out of pocket due to these c*nts

Incompetent company - never use if a business as they are terrible for your reputation Blatantly lying about being unable to deliver- they just couldn't be arsed to even try. Used website to arrange re-delivery- didn't even bother to send the parcel out- and i cannot arrange to pick it up- their site won't let me and they are uncontactable- chat permanently 'all busy' telephone useless waste of time.

Waited in all day, no show, looked at the tracking and they supposedly delivered it this morning, who to, I haven't a clue, they said they left a card as well. Not to my address, this is one useless company

I have been waiting since 23rd Nov for collection of a faulty kettle. I was initially told that a replacement couldn't be sent until they had received the faulty one and my account was credited. I was told it would be collected on 23rd and waited kjn ALL day. NO-ONE called. When I chased them up I was told that someone did call and NO-ONE was home but that a card had been left. Three further dates were arranged by the company, STUDIO (who just keep apologising and organising a further date (which Yodel do not have on their records apparently?), today was the 4th day I waited in - still no collection was attempted. Yodel are a bunch of LIARS. I agree with others on this site - find out which couriers company use and steer clear of the ones that use Yodel - they DO NOT perform to standards. I will be contacting Trading Stanfdards tomorrow and hope they have more luck than I have had.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!!! They do not even deserve one star! They have had my parcel for 6 days so far that was to be collected and delivered in the same city! They start by loosing my parcel and take 24 hours to locate it then they lie to me and tell me it will be delivered today when they actual move it to a second sorting centre even further away from me to then "miss place" my parcel once again to then tell me for a second time to wait another 24 hours so the can try locate it!! AVOID using yodel!!!!!

Have been waiting on a delivery from Debenhams for nearly a week, email sent stating no access I was home ???? tried calling customer service automated ,did webchat ,twitter , and also emailed Yodel, I had to contact Debenhams and the company who were sending the item through Yodel they now tell me I will get my parcel today and to keep tracking !!! I have tracked this parcel for the last 6 hours and its still in Livingston Depot ,twitter from yodel said unable to supply eta for parcel but will be today, I advise everyone when you buy online ask who the couriers will be if its YODEL tell them you will pick up in store or go somewhere else to shop
