Yodel are incompetent liers. 4 web chats (over 3 hours long in total) 4 promises to deliver my parcel the next day, 1 call from customer service saying my parcel would be sent out within the next two hours and still they decide to return parcel to sender ?? Even attempts from suppliers to get the parcel to me were ignored. Avoid like the plague, as I said incompetent liers Yvonne

Waited 6 days so far for a 24hr service still not here and rang loads and loads used Web chat all lie and contradict last person u spoke to

Email and Text yesterday saying delivery would be here today (up to 9PM) Stayed in all day, then get a text @ 4.30PM to say `sorry we missed you`. Absolute jokers AND liars!

Had a parcel to be delivered on Wednesday. Wasn't in. Card through door saying left behind bin( which is in full view of whole street ) only to find nothing there !! I'm Fuming this is not the first time either. Also went onto delivery tracking and it says has been signed for ! Clearly not by myself if was left behind bin

What a wholly frustrating experience. Three deliveries attempted mid week, all between the hours 9-5. Unfortunately, like most people I have work during the day so can not take off a whole day to wait for one parcel. I am then informed that the parcel can only be collected at the 'local distribution centre'. Fair enough you might think, that is until finding out it would take over 2 hours for a return journey to get there. I explained this to their customer service dept. on the online chat, and Charlotte did her best to be completely unhelpful in resolving this matter. It was like talking to a brick wall that could only respond in one way, repeating the fact that I had to collect the parcel or it would be resent to sender. What great help that is! How a business can be run on this model is baffling to say the least. Yodel have lost a customer and many more hopefully once the word is spread of their appalling service. And by the looks of it I am not in the minority here.

The 2 occasions I have had Yodel deliver, they couldn't even be bothered finding the house! They leave the parcels outside in the rain, on someone else's doorstep, whose house name they have to walk past to leave the parcel on the doorstep, (this is clearly not the same name as the one on the parcel), on both occasions I have been in. They don't put a note in my letterbox. The first I hear is a text to say I have received it...only I haven't. The first time it was a £200 electrical Overlocker! The second was a box of paper Christmas decorations. Surely you should ensure the delivery guys can actually read before employing them?

Awful, truly, truly awful. I would not go near anything these guys are delivering, any site using them is clearly doing so to save ~£2. I rejected a delivery last week, because it never arrived and will be doing the same this week, same reasons. Online shopping is a huge luxury that we are fortunate to afford in our time and suppliers fortunate to benefit from for their business. However, Yodel are the worst link in this chain I have ever come across. I would not order something knowing that Yodel are going to be the courier.

Delivery was not made on the day it was scheduled for, so it was re-scheduled, only not to arrive again - however, according to there website "they missed me because I was out" - we are a business and reception is always open during business hours, the truth is the drive could simply not be bothered. This is the 2nd time in 3 order where this has happened. I tried to ring Yodel but was simply cut off. I tried online chat but after asking where the parcel is, was left with no response for 20 minutes.

My parcel was delivered to the wrong address although the correct post code was on it. I spoke toVuyolwethu at Yodel who immediately rectified the error and arranged for the driver to return and pick up the parcel. I have only praise for this employee.

Each time we have to book a courier for work the boss ends up choosing Yodel. Parcel should have been collected yesterday, but wasn't - this is the third time this has happened (3 different deliveries, not just this parcel). Log into the account and it says "no one home, card left". I have NO card and I'm very dubious they would have turned up past the collection time-frame to have left one behind anyway. Online chat rep says their system didn't have a reason from the courier for the failed collection (again, bet they were never here to leave a card behind) so just re-booked it for Monday - so a 48 hour express service is now NOT very express is it? Fingers crossed they turn up on Monday to collect it because there wasn't even any offer of a refund so I could find someone else to do the job right. Never. Again.

Was told my delivery would be sent and stayed in all day for it. Got an email around 6:30pm to say "sorry we missed you" so I phoned the number in the email and finally got through to some one who said they attempted to deliver my order at 17:52, at this time I was in the house eating my dinner and no one knocked my door, they then argued with me sayig a card was put through the door wich it was not. Was told my delivery would be delivered next day between 8am - 7pm which means a second day I have had to sit around in the house, so far no delivery has arrived. I have tried 4 different ways to get an email address from them and they have all told be the exact same thing, "I'd really like to help you with this". I have been passed from piller to post trying to submit a complaint, clearly want to make it as hard as possible to put a complaint in. If only there was an option for 0 stars.!

My heart sank when i got the message that YODEL would be delivering my order - I knew getting my package was going to be a mission now.. So I received the standard note through the door advising that I missed the delivery. Yes you missed me because like nearly everyone out there I'm not in at 2.30pm because guess what I WORK!! Soooooooooooooooo I called the automated system to arrange re delivery - Seemed easy enough. My item would be delivered next day - Saturday. Great !! Well not great actually. Around 12pm Saturday I called our good friends YODEL to try to gauge when I could expect the delivery as Id rather not spend the WHOLE DAY waiting for one package. Unfortunately to my lack of surprise the item would not be delivered on Saturday as agreed with the autobot earlier, because as explained by the woman on the line my package had been put on the van for delivery and for some unfathomable reason to which she nor I could figure out had been taken off the van again. Ok so now im miffed - I just want my item - !! - So the young lady on the phone tells me she'll speak to her manager and see if the item can be delivered on Saturday as agreed- She returns to tell me that yes it would be delivered on a best endeavours basis. I put down the phone grateful for her attempt but knowing full well there was absolutely no way i was getting my package and yes its 19:22 and I dont have it. So i will call on Monday and start this merry go round again. I'm assuming they'll once again attempt to deliver it on Monday and once again I will not be there to collect. Come on guys you don't have a good reputation and this experience qualifies that. I GIVE UP!! WHY ISNT THERE A NO STAR RATING TO CHOOSE ??? FOR YODEL YOU NEED THIS

Awaiting delivery which was promised to be "delivered" indefinately on the wednesday. I asked my mother and father to collect it for me so they did not go out for the day. I told them the delivery could be between 8am and 9pm ( 13 hours is a long time to wait ) and the delivery did not turn up. Spoke to yodel customer services and virgin who "promised me it was on the way". It came to 9pm 13 hours of waiting and I was told that "They have run of of time" and it would get delivered next day. ( Even though online tracker shown it was en route at 8am ) Next day nothing show's up same story as before, "its definately getting delivered" called up customer services for a staff member to put me on hold for 20 minutes to lie that "they had come to my area" even though I had no delivery slip and my dad was watching the road. ( Seriously I can't believe she lied). Finally it turns up and they left it with my neighbour on the friday afternoon, I can't believe that they lied to myself on the phone, They also told me "after the third day of a failed collection "I would have to collect it" I never write reviews, But on this occasion this company needs all the poor feedback because only then it may change.

I gave 1 star as I don't seem to be able to give less, What a complete shambles of a company, delivery between 7am and 9pm, yeah, I love waiting in all day, every other courier give you an hour slot and you can see where the driver is currently. My 'next day delivery' is now not arriving today, so I have to wait until the weekend as I have no one around, decided to collect myself as again they said they can re-arrange for a Saturday but anytime between 7am and 9pm, 14 hours. Try getting hold of someone on the phone, it's impossible, well nearly, in the end I just call the automated line and said no to everything until asked what I'd like to do, I simply said 'complaint', immediately through to a member of staff. This is the same automated line that hung up on me rather than give any other options after it told me a totally different delivery status to what the website did. Yodel, do us all a favour, close, please.

Yodel have 2 jobs, to pick up the parcel and deliver it to me. Sadly they couldn't even do the first job. "Your parcel is awaiting collection" for the last 4 days. Contacted Yodel, they don't want to know, not their problem, contact your retailer. Contacted the retailer who phoned Yodel and were not happy with their response. Basically Yodel have lost the parcel somewhere between the retailer's depot and their own depot. Apparently this happens 'quite often'. Retailer offered me a refund as product is now out of stock. I begrudgingly accepted. Well done Yodel, you have COMPLETELY RUINED someone's very special occasion. Livid.

Having to wait on delivery getting told between 7.30am and 9pm in evening that's 11 hours waiting in house then parcel arrives next day at 1pm and when I'm not at home. Cannot get anyone from yodel on telephone then tried the live chat, what a disgrace of a company ..Useless, I've how contacted virginmedia and cancelled my order so I hope they cancel their contract with yodel

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received (not received). Waited in all day Friday for a parcel only to be told at 9:00pm that the van had broken down. Waited in all day Saturday to be lied to that it had tried to be delivered but never actually came. I spoke to someone that told me Yodel would contact me to rearrange delivery-no contact was made. Waited in all day Monday and again lied to that it had tried to be delivered. I spoke to someone again that said they would come back later that day. I even resorted to writing "yodel- here!" On my front door to try and help them find it! And guess what...nothing! Absolute first class liars! How companies are still using them to deliver for them I have no idea!!! This is not the first time they have let me down!!!

Every time we order something they always say no one in card left!!!! What a load of crap they just can't be asked to delivery, waste of time is yodel as a company!!!!!! Give up and go bust and do us all a favour

Absolutely dreadful Company I'll never deal with them again and I'll tell my suppliers I won't use them if they deliver to me by Yodel. Pattern emerging on all these low reviews. They expect you to stay in from 7:30am to 9pm which is disgusting in itself. Then they send you an Email saying they've tried to deliver and left a card when it'd a LIE ! I had to make a 40 mile trip to collect my parcel as I didn't trust them for a third day. DON'T USE THEM !
