Both my wife and I were in when I noticed a delivery driver writing out a card directly outside the window. Both our cars were parked prominently on our path. When I opened the door the driver said your parcel is at No 36. He added 'I did knock' although both of us never heard him. He did not try the bell. Once again poor service from Yodel.

Worst delivery service EVER!!! Sent me a txt msg on the weds earlier than expected. waited in from 11am-9pm then got a txt msg that said "item delivered" at 9.13pm. Next day on the website it said "item back at depot". Tried to rearrange delivery but to no joy. Anyways.... Finally got the parcel (snooker cue set) having being left in a communal hallway! They're awful. Boycott the company people!!!!

Terrible. Due to collect Tuesday - driver no show. Re-booked for Wednesday - driver no show. It's Thursday and I'm still waiting.

Our elderly Aunt in France sent us a parcel via a London company, to her niece who lives in Staffordshire UK. The Aunt put the wrong address on the INTERNET ORDER FORM, and could not afterwards tell the niece the reference number given. The parcel involved became overdue for delivery. On speaking to the customer service team on 0844 755 0117 and explaining the scenario, they pulled out all their investigative skills to trace the parcel. The yodel driver delivered the wrongly addressed parcel the next day. WELL DONE EVERYONE INVOLVED AT YODEL. (September 2015)

A delivery was supposed to have been made yesterday; according to their "tracking" it was attempted, but no card was left, and no-one disturbed the staff who were in the building at the time. This morning, I tried contacting Yodel on the "talk to us" phone number, but was led through an awful automated system which didn't allow me to talk to anyone. I tried the webchat which wasn't working. I tried to arrange a "redelivery" which is only possible a day after delivery has been atempted.... but it wouldn't let me. I tried in vain to find a phone number for an actual chat... I then attempted webchat again... this time it worked, and Lorna seemed very happy to help despite my protestations at an awful and unprofessional company's actions so far. I now await the delivery....again. I've dealt with Yodel before, at my home address, and had more or less the same issues... never a card left, and despite being in all day, no call at the door either. "Exasperating" hardly covers it.. tardy, annoying, unprofessional and abysmal are terms I rarely use unless deserved... and Yodel deserves everything it gets.

The worst delivery company in the UK and by a long long way. I will not use a retailer if I know that they use Yodel. I have literally nothing good to say about them. On this latest calamity of a delivery, I am now two days past the 3 day window I was given for delivery. Not heard a peep from them and can't get any information about when I might see the item. I'll just have to sit and hope for the best and maybe it'll turn up, maybe... one day! Joke!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Delivery attempts stated simply did not happen; twice!. Have CCTV footage showing as much. Either ineptitude or flat out lying. Their telephone service is a joke and there appears to be no way to contact a human being or register a complaint. The robots they employ to man their Twitter feed seem to serve only as a guard against further, entirely justified criticism. Haemorrhoids are more fun that dealing with this company. Please vote with your feet when choosing a courier.

Delivered 2 weeks late in poor condition. Also when it was claimed they 'attempted to deliver' I was actually in, so how they missed me I have no idea. They are a terrible company, AVOID!

My second time using Yodel. Just as bad as the first. Ordered a parcel for a Saturday delivery, waited in, not delivered. Turned up Sunday afternoon, which was too late to use the items. Customer service terrible - they will reply publicly to your tweets to appear concerned and helpful. Privately, they ignore you. I'd never use them again, as unreliable with no customer service.

What a joke of a company? Failed to deliver to an off licence (collect plus) which is open all day and till late? 3 days later and still no update on what is going on. Avoid this joke of a business if you can. Although online retailers don't tell you that they use them.

Giving one star to this company seems far too generous. The service is absolutely appalling - pretty much the only courier company that is guaranteed NOT to deliver your items. They make no attempt to deliver, stating 'unable to gain access to front door' repeated times and then 'lose' items. This has now happened to me on 8 occasions. I just wish large companies like Amazon would listen to feedback and stop using them. Stay well away from them if you can.

Yodel courier tried to deliver fresh flowers, as no one was in they were taken back to the depot (on a Saturday!) They could have left them around the back, there were plenty of neighbours available, but not attempted. I am now waiting in for some flowers (at least 2 days old, heavan knows what condition they will be in) And as for trying to get an idea of delivery time, forget it, want to speak to someone? too many hoops to jump through and answers to give, and as soon as you give the automated service your tracking number that's it - end of the line - they have no further information for you - Goodbye! Frank Ifield and his yodel good probably deliver from beyond the grave quicker than this lot!!

Yodel left a small parcel on my doorstep over a weekend, when it would have fitted through the letter box. Really unprofessional and/or lazy.

Every time this company was delivery company for my parcels there was nothing just mess. My parcel was to be delivered on friday. Nobody were at home, then I made redelivery for saturday with comment to deliver before 12:00. I was at home all day until dark, nobody came. Simply the worst delivery company. What amazes me that how is this company around. They don't care. Beware and good luck!

If there had been an extremely, unbelievably poor button, I would have pressed it. Each time I have bought something which was supposed to be delivered by Yodel, they have failed to deliver it. This time I waited in all day on the day it was supposed to arrive. Yodel system said that there was no-one there and that they had left a card. The same happened the following day. I then managed (miraculously, because it is almost continuously unavailable) to do an online chat. Louise was useless, couldn't do anything. She obviously had a button on her desktop saying "I understand completely" which she kept pressing. The following day the same non-delivery and the same lie about no-one being in. They now say that unless I drive 15 miles to their depot to collect it they will return it to the sender. From everything I've heard and read I am fairly sure that actually they NEVER deliver to addresses out in the countryside which are out of their way. They get away with it because most people, in desperation, will collect the item and those that don't will get a refund from the supplier who won't want the expense of resending. And of course, Yodel can blame it on the customer. It's his/her word against Yodel, (unless, as I have, the customer has CCTV). Either way Yodel do very well out of this because they can limit the journeys made by their vehicles to those places that are close together in towns and cities. In this way they can offer a cheaper service than their competitors who deliver everywhere but have to drive further and do less efficient journeys. They can appear to offer the same universal service but not actually do so. If I am right, this is fraud.

Received a txt message stating my item was going to be delivered today and if I was not going to be in to contact another number by 9pm, which I did instantly stating I was at work and wouldn't be home until 8pm, this was around 2pm. Then after 3pm I received a further message stating my item had been delivered.. while nobody was home.. I was curious how they delivered my large parcel through a letterbox.. on getting home there was no parcel.. no note.. so I googled the delivery company "Yodel".. and found these reviews.. and so adding to them.. worst service ever!! I will not purchase from anyone that uses this useless company again!

The only word I can honestly use to describe this company is DISGRACEFUL!! Please avoid at all cost.the only way you can get through to anyone is by using a live chat service they have and even then what they tell you/promise you about your parcel never happens...good luck receiving a parcel from this incompetent lot.????
