Completely inept! Failed attempt recorded at 14.57 on tracking info; both my partner and I were definitely in, and no card was left. We now have two outstanding parcels at Yodel depots, dispatched from totally separate, unrelated companies, and we cannot contact anyone to try and organise delivery or collection. If you are one of the many companies out there with great staff, producing excellent 5 star goods, why do you do them the disservice of using a third rate , 1 star courier service?

The worst carrier what im ever meet, even a Hermes its much better and have better customer service, im request redelivery and nobody come, they say so its no access to my property and they try 3 times deliver my parcel but its bullshit because only one calling card left, definitely never use this company again.

Rubbish, left me a card on the door step even though the whole family were home, number on the card tracking not recognised by yodel or website, they dont answer the phone so i have a parcel somewhere, dont know where, dont know what it is and dont know if it will ever arrive!! shower of sheeite!

Haha, one star is too much for these lowlives! From lying, stealing, throwing parcels, delivering to wrong address to simply not delivering at all, how the company is still going is beyond me, and I refuse to shop with any retailer who uses them. Useless!!!

Yodel are ABSOLUTE RUBBISH, AVOID THIS DELIVERY COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They do not guarantee the next day delivery service I have paid for, I AM STILL waiting for my birthday dress to arrive, according to their shoddy vague website it left Alfreton depot 2 days ago, you cannot get through to customer services I've been on hold a few times for 20+ minutes no answer. How this company is still being used after all the bad reviews I have no idea, THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, USELESS

I'm annoyed that you have to give a one star review on this website because i'm certain that they don't deserve even that. They have no concept of customer service and their drivers display a level of initiative that could be beaten by a glass of water! I had a driver leave a package outside my front door. I live near the scummiest of flats and anything that isn't chained down will not be there when you return. I understand the driver may not be from the area, but trust me, it wouldn't take a member of mensa to work out that this was not a smart thing to do. After complaining repeatedly and loudly to anyone at yodel that would listen, i was given a refund for my purchase and told that the driver would be reprimanded. two weeks later, he did exactly the same thing to my next door neighbour!

Please avoid this company - their excuses are laughable and after 10 days of waiting for my parcel to be delivered I have canceled my order. I found out myself that they don't deliver to PO Boxes after being told my delivery was being dispatched. The company is a joke

Email received to say delivery tried but no one in Of course not true said would deliver next day didn't happen said card was left ..not true either . Rubbish service. See what happens on next selected date expectations poor

Terrible customer service, their online web page is also very unhelpful and takes you around in circles - no easy way to contact anyone! Unless you want to be hanging on the telephone for a lifetime there is no other means of making contact? Try putting in a complaint - even this is frustrating and again you land up going around in circles. I telephoned this company on Thursday to arrange a redelivery after hanging on the phone for 40mins, I agreed with the customer service person that delivery would be made on Saturday, by around 16.30 I thought I would check where my item was, I was extremely annoyed to find that it was still at the depot and no redelivery had been arranged? Would NEVER use this company through choice and would prefer to hand deliver the items myself, would be quicker.

Garbage, packets left on doorsteps, sticking out of letterboxes. On one occasion my wife ordered a parcel which was to be delivered by yodel. The packet was discovered a mile away in the road where a car had driven over it!!The person who found it, very kindly delivered it to our house. I phoned yodel and they said that the delivery driver had delivered it!!! He did well considering it was found by a member of the public!! Appalling service

I ordered some goods from Mothercare which were to sign for. The parcel was out with the driver on 2nd September. I was in all day and it never came. On the tracking it said that the parcel was out with a driver on 3rd September, but again no delivery. The parcel was checked back into the depot at Selby on the evening of 3rd September. I contacted Mothercare who were told that the driver tried to deliver on 2nd September but did not leave a card to say that he had been. Absolutely amazing as both my husband and I were in all day.

Absolutely appalling service! Having taken time to be at home to receive my two parcels, only one arrived! After spending 1.5 hours waiting to speak to customer services, I was basically told 'tough' and I'd have to take delivery another day! Easier said than done. Sunil at customer escalation services promised to contact the depot and call me back with an explanation......he didn't! I had to ring again and spoke to Nigel who has assured me my parcel will be delivered tomorrow. Watch this space!

Yodel are the worst delivery company known to man...all I wanted was the parcel I ordered for my 11 day old baby and the $%$$@% can't even do that...let's just say if Yodel would be a bank...they'd make northen rock look good!!

Disgusting service. Absolutely terrible. I had a parcel sent to myself in England from the Netherlands, via a 100% trustworthy Dutch posting company, but I didn't know they were going to use Yodel here in the UK. Was expecting my parcel, but nothing arrived; in the evening, see a notification that it has been delivered and even signed for by a name I have never heard of including a signature that was simply two lines (thus looking nothing like a regular signature). Tried the sms service, no reply till 12 hours later, and also called, being put on hold and consequently told the driver would contact "within 24-48 hours". Great that's not getting my package back to me. Called the next day, since I still hadn't heard anything, and was scolded for calling because "madam had already called" and I "should wait for the driver to contact you". Absolutely shameless. Then today, someone from the neighbourhood brought the parcel to us, saying that a driver came up and dropped the package on the ground, and driving away again without saying a thing. Terrible service, never ever use.

Came home to find the Ps3 I bought that was only wrapped on brown paper left outside under no cover in recently showery weather conditions! Called to complain on hold for 16 minutes to then get told they are now closed! Later realising the number I had got off google and the only contact phone number for them was premium rate and the call had cost me £6! Worst experience Ive had with a company in a long time! AVOID

Today I was awaiting to arrive our new mattress, when the site said it had been delivered, I called to query as it wasn't delivered to us. We were reassured it was still out in the van and would be delivered today. When yodel deliver a parcel to next door at 20:15 I went on the live chat and spoke with a lady who clarified that parcels were delivered up until 9pm. I have given up waiting, it is now 22:15 and no parcel, or any contact for that matter to apologise or say when it will eventually be delivered. Good job we hadn't got rid of our other mattress yet!! Very disappointed!!! Not even worth one star.
