A parcel was delivered whilst I wasn't at home. The calling card stated that it was left with my neighbour next door, but the courier had also ticked all the other boxes on the card, one being that it had also been returned to the depot. I knocked on my neighbours door and nothing had been left with them. I rang Yodel, the tracking number didn't work and the customer service team was useless too. I was then told that my parcel was at another neighbours address, an address nowhere near me. I spent half an hour physically looking for this address with a baby in tow and still nothing. Having spoken to customer services again, they apologized and told me that they would get in touch with the courier himself and get him to collect it from where he did deliver it and return it to me. I heard nothing, so i rang back. The courier didn't go and retrieve it like the customer service team said he would, but this time he gave another address. This went on for over a week, with me ringing Yodel every day and chasing it up, they never contacted me once. The courier gave yet another two addresses during this time and i was told to go back out and check at these addresses, of course i refused and told them to send their obviously incompetent courier to collect it, the courier didn't. Eventually the customer service department admitted that they had no idea where my parcel was and neither did the courier, which was bafflingly as someone somewhere had signed for it. I was told that it comes down to being 'Lost in Transit' . What absolute rubbish. I have never experienced a company like it and the customer service team pass the buck and seem to have no proper communication with its drivers. This whole experience has left me very angry and out of pocket. Yodel need to start taking responsibility and start compensating people for they're ridiculous mistakes.

Didn't turn up to collect the parcel, after someone waited in all day. LIED about leaving a delivery card, (they didn't leave one). spent so much time on the phone, they all pass the buck to the next person- no one seems to know what they are doing. Parcel delivery number did not work which was THEIR ERROR,as a result of that eventually couldn't even speak to anyone on the phone anymore. 10 days later managed to get a rebook via a webchat, but they refused to give a refund, despite all the money I spent on calls and the fact that I now have to wait in all day for a second time. DISGUSTING SERVICE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE..

Parcel Dumping on neighbours is absolutely not allowed, how dare you even consider this without my consent pre arrangement organised by myself and neighbour. In this instance you were going to dump the parcel on number 6 and it even says on my front door “do not deliver to neighbours – redeliver”. I will be asking sellers if they use Yodel, if they do I will reject the service if your involved, you will never get access to by goods again. If you do due to error just return to sender as you are not allowed on my property! Shocking, horrible company who abuses trust and relationships for profit and gain.

Absolutely disgusting service. No contact to say they had changed the delivery date twice and they state that if your arent in the 3rd time they will send the item back. . Impossible to speak to anyone as automated telephone system cuts you off. I will never order any item that has yodel as a delivery provider

Extremely poor service!! Stuck at home all day to be told that the driver missed me!!!!!!! Of course, there's no way to contact them and the driver's phone is turned off. I don't know why companies keep using YODEL, it's disappointing and inconsiderate

Yodel claimed that they had delivered the parcel on time and it was signed for by Joe. patently untrue as we had waited in for the delivery, which never came. Email came at eactly the time the delivery was scheduled for, except no delivery took place - no driver, no van, no card and of course no delivery. the minute I knew the parcel was coming form yodel I was concerned base don past experience. Truly awful company

parcel delivered, left on front step and card pushed through door. Guess what.....front step on busy road, parcel gone! Phoned to complain, waited 15 min to get through on line with a charge, got through then cut off. Had to ring again, another 10 min being charged and to discover the failure to get the parcel is our fault....somehow. Having trouble working out how. Being sent a claim form. Please get out of the business, you're not a service.

paid for next day delivery, the driver did not knock the door and just posted a note through the day have been trying to contact him for 8 hours and he has not responded once. been on the customer help service and two different people promised it would be re delivered today and it still has not been delivered. livid

missed the first visit at work, second was in all day, third deliver it to somewhere else get it refused as not ordered and send it away again. Give your parcel to a homeless person on the street with a fiver you will have more luck. incompetent fools shut this company down

Almost every time my parcel is delivered by Yodel there is a problem. Their couriers usually do not attempt to deliver the parcels .they do not leave the cards and have the phones off. I have been ordering the same product for 3 weeks since the courier does not come and he just that lies nobody was at home then immediately sends the package to the sender. I do not even have a chance for redelivery. Today I waited for the 3rd time for the courier watching the driveway in front of my house. The courier did not come and lied that he could not deliver the parcel because nobody was home. No card. no bell and his phone is off. This is the worst company in the world. No company so ignores their customers as yodel does. This useless company should be judicious liquidated!.

A shocking company, this is the first time our company used your delivery service we are a wholesale company and send over 50k parcels per month all over the uk. We where looking for a new courier contract and thought we would use Yodel. What a big mistake that turned out to be. We purchased a new till system for our warehouse costing over £6,000 insured the item to the value. And guess what? It's lost in transit. Terrible customer service, you can't talk to a human and now we are struggling to make a claim. Please if your looking for a professional service PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE MONKEYS. Stay well clear.

Ordered 2 kits off ebay for my nieces for their birthday they were ment to be delivered on the 6/3/17 never recived anything so i contacted the seller and told them on the 8/3/17 they then sent them again and they were dispatched on the 9/3/17with tracking. I contacted yodel today and they said it was lost in transit. Seller has opened a case with yodel. Yodel is nothing but a fucking joke

I shouldn't have even had to give Yodel 1 star. The service is absolutely HORRENDOUS! I have never ever encountered something as bad! So... I ordered an outfit from Topshop and paid £6.00 for express delivery for it to arrive the following day. I knew I would not be at home as like most people I work full time so I left a delivery request for the driver to leave the parcel with a neighbour but low and behold when I came home to the calling card it just said " will not leave with neighbour" since when should the driver make a decision on where they leave my belongings?! To cut a long story short, I am now sat here a week later without my parcel. In the meantime I have contacted Yodel on serveral occasions on live chat, social media and over the phone and no one can tel me where my parcel is!!!! I will be making a huge complaint to both Yodel and Topshop because I do not believe they should be using such an awful company for their deliveries. Who knows when I will get my parcel but o want you all to stear clear of this horrendous company

My item was delivered by yodel today. The item was a suede beanbag.clearly obvious as in a clear see through bag. Item was left outside my house in the wet and mud and rain. Item completely ruined. Avoid this company.

After paying nearly £6 for a delivery to come on a specific day, I was pretty annoyed to discover it was not delivered that day... I contacted Yodel straight away to find out that it definitely wasn't coming and that it would be delivered the next day. Upon checking the tracking system the following day there had been no update so I contacted Yodel again to find out that it wasn't even scheduled for delivery and would now be delivered the following day (2 days after the day that I needed it to come on) or I could come and collect it from a depot that is not very close to where I live and I work so can't get there for the times it is open. This is so unacceptable, I needed the delivery on the day that I asked it to be delivered, but they can't even get it to me the day after that.... doesn't make any sense. To say I'm angry is an understatement, I already got a refund for the delivery charge from the seller, however I will make sure never to get anything if it's due to come from Yodel again.

Yodel are even worse than DPD, and I thought they were bad enough. Their driver either mis-delivered or stole my package but getting anyone to take responsibility or deal with the matter is unbelievably hard. Their customer line will hang up on you... leave you on hold... and tell you to contact the sender. In this case, the sender got my package to customs where I paid the charge. Yodel then took over and lost/stole/mis-delivered the parcel, but, they tell me I cannot raise a complaint or take the matter further - I can only contact the sender for them to take the matter up. But, what will they do is be told that the driver 'claims' he delivered the item. So, I'll be back at square on - but have lost the product, my money and the customs charge! Awful company and if you are having anything delivered by them I would seriously think twice about using the supplier that is using them to courier as you could be out of pocket with no protocol to take matters further. *Added after Yodel's reply - Alexis messaged below to say I would be contacted - as of yet, I have heard nothing so it looks like they say what they think makes them look good and that they provide customer service when in fact, they do nothing of the sort.*
