I gave Yodel one star simply because there is no option to give zero stars ...... I ordered wine on line and after receiving tracking information that the package was in their warehouse I never heard another word. Contacted them on line and was twice fobbed off with ' we will conduct a warehouse search' bottom line is that the item was never received. Obviously stolen somewhere between the warehouse and the delivery vehicle. Would not recommend them.

fail to deliver after notification, no further information, only machine on every number rung. Terrible and will not order any goods if they are courier.

Never use them. Drivers are lazy and avoid some areas e.g. Block of flats. They will click attempted deliver even when they did not attempt. Customer services is unhelpful, they are unable to contact they're drivers or depots. Customer services online chat personals also lied to me about the drivers able to call the receiver. AVOID ALL COST!!!!!

Very poor service, very poor delivery record, very poor and unhelpful customer service via chat/calls. All in all, completely unreliable and not at all customer friendly in any way! They are also not bothered by poor reviews either. Pretty dismal!

Parcel was meant to be delivered. Never showed up. Got a text saying it's been delivered. Only for it to arrive the next day on a Sunday at 7am. Of course no one answered as everyone was in bed. Opened the door to find the parcel left on the floor outside the front door. Had nothing but problems with this shocking delivery service.

Driver never tried to deliver the item despite my wife staying in ALL day - he just sneaked the card through the letterbox. It was a large item and how can they deliver this when he had a car!! Useless and customer service even worse

email sent to say they would deliver that day Guess what NO SHOW tracking info stated premises closed on getting further into the tracking info it stated that .i was on holiday. YODEL YOU GIVE OUT A LOAD OF BULL . the worst delivery firm i have come across Drivers not much better.

The worst delivery service ever! I did not choose to work with them, but a parcel I sent to myself when I was abroad got transferred to Yodel for delivery in the UK. On the day they were supposed to deliver, the driver could not find the address (but still updated the system saying he left me a calling card). I rescheduled the delivery, re-entered my address in the system, and received a confirmation email saying that it would be delivered on the date I selected and at the address I entered. The delivery slot they gave me was between 7am and 9pm. I waited all day and did not receive the parcel. I chatted to 3 different people on the Yodel web-page (the only way to contact them, and the chat service was almost always busy), who kept telling me that there was still a chance I could receive my parcel by 9pm. But I didn't. At the end of the day, I informed them that I would collect the parcel at the Depot which was 22 miles away (45 min train ride + taxi - if you don't drive). At the collection point, I figured out that they taped over the part of the box where the address was written. If you do have to send/receive mail through them, choose to collect from the depot no matter how far it is. Or simply do not work with them. Royal mail or DPD offer much much better service!

I was in both times they called and on each occasion they dumped the delivery of wine on the doorstep. On the first time they just left without knocking on the door or ringing my bell so it was only later on leaving the house I saw the delivery (out in plain view) and on the second occasion they did ring the doorbell but did not wait for me to answer the door - I just saw him in the van checking for his next delivery address and he drove off without a backward glance. Pathetic service, and I would add no card through the door, no signature collected, and I have standing instructions that if not in (although i was) to leave any delivery at the back of the house!!

My parcel was stolen from the doorstep - the police said it was a stupid place to leave it and gave use a crime report reference. A yodel supervisor PROMISED to contact seller to ask them to initiate refund process (they wouldn't initially as the courier has ticked the item as delivered). Yodel then said they would not do this as it was not policy, even though promised. In the meantime, another supervisor said they would investigate and get back to me - another broken promise, they never did. Worst company ever and they seem quite happy being terrible, not honouring promises and fobbing customers off internally to one another. Disgusted with the customer service!

Parcel left on doorstep - police said it was a stupid place to leave it after it was stolen (crime report number). Yodel supervisor PROMISED to contact ebay (as seller) to ask them to make a claim (they wouldn't originally as Yodel had ticked parcel had been delivered on the tracking). Yodel went back on their promise and wouldn't contact seller. In the meantime, another supervisor promised to get back to me and didn't. Worst customer service ever. Lots of lies about actions, and promises that haven't been honoured. Just terrible, I am speechless that they are allowed to operate.

A parcel was delivered whilst I wasn't at home. The calling card stated that it was left with my neighbour next door, but the courier had also ticked all the other boxes on the card, one being that it had also been returned to the depot. I knocked on my neighbours door and nothing had been left with them. I rang Yodel, the tracking number didn't work and the customer service team was useless too. I was then told that my parcel was at another neighbours address, an address nowhere near me. I spent half an hour physically looking for this address with a baby in tow and still nothing. Having spoken to customer services again, they apologized and told me that they would get in touch with the courier himself and get him to collect it from where he did deliver it and return it to me. I heard nothing, so i rang back. The courier didn't go and retrieve it like the customer service team said he would, but this time he gave another address. This went on for over a week, with me ringing Yodel every day and chasing it up, they never contacted me once. The courier gave yet another two addresses during this time and i was told to go back out and check at these addresses, of course i refused and told them to send their obviously incompetent courier to collect it, the courier didn't. Eventually the customer service department admitted that they had no idea where my parcel was and neither did the courier, which was bafflingly as someone somewhere had signed for it. I was told that it comes down to being 'Lost in Transit' . What absolute rubbish. I have never experienced a company like it and the customer service team pass the buck and seem to have no proper communication with its drivers. This whole experience has left me very angry and out of pocket. Yodel need to start taking responsibility and start compensating people for they're ridiculous mistakes.

Didn't turn up to collect the parcel, after someone waited in all day. LIED about leaving a delivery card, (they didn't leave one). spent so much time on the phone, they all pass the buck to the next person- no one seems to know what they are doing. Parcel delivery number did not work which was THEIR ERROR,as a result of that eventually couldn't even speak to anyone on the phone anymore. 10 days later managed to get a rebook via a webchat, but they refused to give a refund, despite all the money I spent on calls and the fact that I now have to wait in all day for a second time. DISGUSTING SERVICE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE..

Parcel Dumping on neighbours is absolutely not allowed, how dare you even consider this without my consent pre arrangement organised by myself and neighbour. In this instance you were going to dump the parcel on number 6 and it even says on my front door “do not deliver to neighbours – redeliver”. I will be asking sellers if they use Yodel, if they do I will reject the service if your involved, you will never get access to by goods again. If you do due to error just return to sender as you are not allowed on my property! Shocking, horrible company who abuses trust and relationships for profit and gain.

Absolutely disgusting service. No contact to say they had changed the delivery date twice and they state that if your arent in the 3rd time they will send the item back. . Impossible to speak to anyone as automated telephone system cuts you off. I will never order any item that has yodel as a delivery provider

Extremely poor service!! Stuck at home all day to be told that the driver missed me!!!!!!! Of course, there's no way to contact them and the driver's phone is turned off. I don't know why companies keep using YODEL, it's disappointing and inconsiderate
