Absolutely terrible experience with this company and not for the first time! But this definitely has to be the worst! Delivery driver delivered to a completely wrong address (nothing at all like the one in the parcel). I only found this out after I had received an email saying my parcel had been delivered and signed for my me 🤷‍♀️!!! And having to call the helpline and stay on hold for ages! No one was able to help me over the phone or webchat saying that I needed to contact the seller to issue me a refund! A refund for what exactly? An item that yodel misplaced and are now seemingly to incompetent to retrieve and deliver to a simple address? No apology, just extremely rude telephone and webchat operators reading and writing things from a script! Three weeks on and still no parcel/refund or even apology for that matter. Things go wrong, that’s life but have the decency to apologise and fix it.

Absolutely nightmare of a company to deal with. Customer service are also inept and unable to handle any issues outside of basic questions. I was told a delivery date because I had trouble being home to receive the package, they then sent it on a different date and said they would not send again and that I would have to pick up at a depot in a different city than I lived in. Worst experience I've ever had with a shipper.

Yodel emailed to say my order from H&M was left in my shed this afternoon and a card put through the door. No card and no parcel, so where has the driver left it?? Its going to take 24 hrs to get some answer from Yodel Very unhappy customer. Why do online sellers use such awful delivery company. They should be banned.

Yodel have failed to deliver twice claiming that they cannot find my house. This despite being given clear instructions on how to find it. Customer service is abysmal you can only use the very slow chat service which gives every impression of being staffed by people following a script. They have wasted hours of my time and caused me intense frustration. I have informed the Ebay seller that either they use a different courier or I will have a refund. I will never use this courier or accept deliveries from them again.

Was home but had left instructions that parcel could be left in porch. Update from yodel said they couldn't access my property!!! Live in an easy accessible house on a quiet road. Have loads of deliveries all the time from other companies without any problems, a toddler could deliver a parcel easily here so what are they talking about?? Utter rubbish and lies.

they were to deliver an amazon order of cat food. the driver left a note when we were not at home saying only "by hedge". there is no hedge on my property. Needless to say, by the time i got home the parcel was gone. Yodel "investigated" then told me i had to go back to the seller to claim a refund, notwithstainding that it was Yodel, not the seller, who was negligent. avoid.

Just shocking! According to update the driver was at my property three times, and he couldn’t get access, which is just not true. Every time when the driver allegedly showed up at my property someone was at home to pick up my parcel. There was no card left either, which simply means that none has ever been there to deliver my parcel. The update says that I can pick it up from Yodel pick up point, which is 11 miles away from where I live! I was trying to contact the company more than 10 times by now to rearrange delivery, and I didn’t even manage to talk to human. No matter what you’ll say, the talking automat will disconnect you. Looking at company ratings, and talking to people who ever had to deal with it it’s just clear that Yodel doesn’t care about delivering parcels to people’s addresses. If I wanted to pickup my parcel from somewhere 11 miles away from where I live, then simply I wouldn’t order it home. Now I have no parcel and no money I spent on it.

Item was lost even though they sent an email saying it had been delivered... this happens 3 times for the same item! Customer service appalling... don’t use!

Parcel left in bin, said the scribbled note. Now ask yourself, why were the bins out at the gate ? Yes it's bin day, what a surprise! don't bin days happen where Yodel gonks live ? Off went the parcels into the lorry with the rubbish. Says it all really. Another supplier with a closed account.

Been waiting for my package all day! Was tracking the service, saw that there was one stop before me, 10 mins later I get a email to say they came but no1 was home, and left a calling card. Surprise surprise no calling card, no1 even attempted to deliver. I have a ring doorbell and have checked all of today’s activities and nothing. Very very annoyed as I stayed home all day for this. This has ruined my whole day. Will be making a complaint for sure along with my ring video capture and times throughout the day.

Update, Saturday 1;40 pm. I was just by my front door life tracking my parcel and 4 more to go. I refreshed the page and within a minute it says: Sorry we've missed you (!!!!). I was by my front door, no knocking, no card no attempts to deliver it. And how it could suddenly go from 4 to missed delivery in one minute??I'm livid. Twice in two days. Fake delivery attempts. Shocking customer service and nobody to contact when your parcel goes missing (customer service line open till 1pm and still waiting to be connected to a web chat for the past 10 minutes with no luck) I supposed to receive my parcel between tuesday and thursday this week but yodel wouldn't update any tracking info until 4 pm yesterday and their tackicks are shocking. I received an email at 4;38 pm friday that the parcel is due for delivery at 11;25-1;35 (5 hours earlier than email and I did checked the website regularly during the day and no such info there at the time)When I logged in again the tracking said I missed that delivery and card left. I was at home all day with my dog and no way someone could knock the door without him noticing. No card left either. Impossible to reach them on the phone so I tried web chat. I was disconnected twice when trying to get any explanation on why they lied and tried to get the parcel to any local pick up point. I was told the only option was to wait another day and to spend saturday waiting for them or pick it up from bristol (over 30 miles away) or change the address to local drop off point and wait 48 hours extra. I asked to speak to any supervisor or manager on duty but was refused that either (chat saved) The tracking info from yesterday was now changed again (don't know how it's even possible) to make them look better but still says I missed the delivery. Never again

Driver delivered to wrong address, left no card & admitted they had made a mistake. But make it as hard as they can to contact them, then told me they would call me back. Still waiting 20 days later. There customer service is deplorable. They should be shut down. They very rarely leave a card, I have a motion sensing camera fitted to my front door for proof of delivery. Do not use Yodel, if you get your parcel you’re lucky if not it’s a long long journey that will lead nowhere

Yodel have historically lied to me when pretending to have made deliveries...deliveries which were never in fact attempted (ie I was at home all day, know that no delivery was attempted and that no Yodel calling card was left in my letterbox...this happens a lot with Yodel...the fictional delivery attempt when no calling card is left). However, this time, they have outdone themselves by pretending that they were told I no longer live at my address (obvious nonsense). They returned a large delivery to China without having even attempted delivery...which leads me to wonder whether Yodel may be the worst delivery company in the World...if there is another worse delivery company in the World, who could it possibly be? Yodel charged me for phoning them (about their catastrophically bad service)...and of course they will not allow you to speak to a human being...because their delivery service is so bad there is nothing that can be said on their behalf to mitigate the disaster (unless you call their number for clients attempting to deliver parcels to customers...in which event they just might talk to you because you are paying them to make phantom deliveries). In light of my experience with Yodel, I now take the precaution, on Ebay or elsewhere, of insisting that sellers do not ever to use Yodel to attempt to send me parcels. I now know that there will always be problems if Yodel is tasked with delivery. They lie about attempted deliveries, or as here, lie about people having moved house (which confers two advantages on Yodel...first they no longer have to pretend that left a calling card and secondly, they get to charge their customers delivery fees without actually having done anything...there is a word for that....but I will leave it to the Department of Trade and Industry to investigate and shut down this company. It will happen eventually...thank goodness. A World without Yodel would be a significantly better place.

After claiming to have attempted delivery on two dates when I was at home the driver said they were unable to deliver, despite not knocking on the door or leaving a calling card. After this I phoned customer service which is an automated message telling you to go to the web chat which is constantly busy. Eventually someone said they would rearrange delivery for the next day which they failed to do. When trying to as for compensation or a refund or a guarantee that the parcel would be delivered the next day, two customer service members disconnected the chat on me. Finally I asked to officially complain and was told there was no need because I would get my parcel and had this chat ended too! After 4 failed delivery attempts and an hour talking to customer service my parcel was left by the door a week later.

The usual story with Yodel: a day spent waiting in, no knock at the door, no card left, yet the website says delivery was attempted and I wasn't home. Without a card I can't arrange redelivery and the webchat is useless verging on rude. Will just contact the seller and cancel and buy from someone who doesn't use Yodel.

Yodel are a joke rude delivery drivers that don't care and find it acceptable to lie, non existent customer service I've more chance of finding and speaking to ET than getting through to anyone there, i would urge anyone thinking of using yodel to think again and in future i will not buy anything if they are the courier.

The driver from Yodel threw a 15 kg parcel over a 6 foot fence into the side of our house damaging a sewer pipe and causing a water leak. We had to phone their so called customer service 3 times, the first occasion they put down the phone on us. When we got through to someone who gave a toss, she told us it would be 48 hours before they even look at the complaint! Our daughter is disabled and we cannot use the kitchen at all because all utilities on that side of the house go down that sewer pipe! We are just going straight to court on this one! They will pay for the damage and costs, hit them where it hurts
