“For the second time in a week, Yodel have failed to pick up a parcel that I'm returning. Timeslot was given and nobody showed up, instead got a message (only halfway through the timeslot!) that my parcel wasn't picked up because it "wasn't ready".
Got in touch and was told the driver had been and no-one was home. This is an outright lie, I've been here the entire time, and now I have been given two different stories as to why the parcel wasn't picked up.
It seems obvious to me that the driver just wanted to get around his route as fast as possible and has lied in order to miss a few stops. It doesn't help that "customer service" have also lied in order to cover for him.
This has caused a great deal of inconvenience due to having wasted two days now sat around waiting, not to mention the return of the item being paramount in order that I get refunded so I can replace it.
Why do companies insist on using this incompetent and dishonest courier?”
“Absolute waste of time! After ordering several birthday gifts from Amazon that were delivered in 9 separate consignments, only 1 parcel out of the 9 did not arrive on time... the one from Yodel.
No card, no attempt to deliver or contact from this company. Customer Services contacted, dealt with Rupesh who was unable to assist. Shocking service!!!”
“Tracked parcel due on 3 June. I work from home and always in. Rec'd notification parcel had been delivered, went to look. NOTHING!! I walked down my drive and saw the driver coming from the other end of my road, (there are 2 parts of my road) I live at Number 6, there are no Number 6's at that end. He the driver then walked down an alley to where his van was parked, I have a feeling sat nav took him there. Chatweb then disbelieved me, asked if a relative took it in???!!! NO. if I know where it is go get it!!! I don't know where it is, and with Covid 19 and me being vulnerable I am not risking it. I asked if driver could ring me once he was near, so I could give him directions..NO not allowed. Chatweb then took email address and cut me off. Contacted sender and amazon for disgraceful behaviour, when I place an order I dread seeing Yodel will be delivering it. My parcel is now lost!”

“My boyfriend sent me flowers on my birthday. The delivery driver left it with the wrong address and I contacted yodel as it said my parcel was delivered. Not very helpful as they told me to look around neighbourhood. Managed to find the flowers but it's unacceptable that it's just left with anyone. Honestly avoid them if you can.”

I was unable to confirm progress of the delivery as a number and/or updates were available. Dispite this I waited patiently for delivery. No updates were provided throughout the course of the day.
This morning 02/06/20 I contacted Yodel online chat to chase progress of the delivery. Their response was to contact the driver on the number provided not very helpful at all, when I challenged this they just hung up chat.
I did contact the driver who after a number of exchanges gave the excuse for my parcel not being delivered that the driver had recently changed routes and my parcel was set onto his van on 01/06 for delivery instead of the new driver delivering in my area.
Driver said the parcel would be rescheduled for delivery on 03/06/20. Although couldnt commit to this considering the above.
Why it is left to the driver to face into while hes out delivering parcels is beyond me.
The thing that really concerns me is that at 15:00 on the 02/06/20 my delivery is still untracked, its whereabouts unaccounted for and a confirmation of redelivery date unavailable. This is unacceptable especially considering this was a food product for consumption.
I contacted seller to explain the situation and they cancelled delivery with Yodel and sent out immediately with parcel force.
Although wouldn't be drawn on why they used the "Disgraceful" service of Yodel in the first place given their extremely poor reputation in the industry.”

“Worst courier in the business. 3 parcels within 30 days that never arrived. Always saying "delivery refused" which is utter non sense. Proof of attempt? Never shown. Proof they have even come close to my door step? Non existent.
I'm in a public building, receiving on almost daily basis deliveries from DPD (The absolute best!), UPS and Royal Mail, without a single hint of a problem, where with DHL and YODEL, it's literally, I promise this, literally IMPOSSIBLE to EVEN find the whereabouts of the parcel (website says one thing, web chat "customer service" says another) and after all, nothing is resolved. Zero.
No phone number to contact Yodel either. Don't ever use Yodel. It's bound to eternal frustration.”

I ordered something on ebay and it was supposed to be delivered through them. Our office was closed so no one was there to receive a SIGNED delivery composed of 5 big parcels. i contacted seller and he said that parcel has been delivered as per yodel website. When i contacted Yodel regarding it on webchat as call wasn't available, he told me that they will interview driver and will get back to me in 24 hours However after that, they replied to contact seller for further investigation.
So i again contacted via webchat with guy named SUDHANSHU to get further information about feedback that where it was delivered or how did they get it signed as i didn't leave any instruction to drop it with neighbours and office was closed due to Covid 19 so no one was available to receive or sign. He kept on giving same answer to contact seller and closed chat on me. i told him it was a high value parcel of worth more than £700, but he kept on saying contact seller. Why should i contact seller when it says on your website that it has been delivered by you. it doesnt make any sense as seller doesnt have to do anything with delivery as he has provided me with all tracking numbers So SUDHANSHU closed chat without even discussing anything further or providing any feedback.
