What an inefficient service not like normal couriers. I think that we have a very dishonest driver as he lies about collecting parcels and we lose parcels to be delivered. I have asked via chat line to check my address but they won’t. So can only assume dishonesty prevails. Once you can understand as a mistake but 4 in the last 3 weeks absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT RELY ON YODEL. If you want your parcel left heaven knows where or the tracking to say you aren’t in when you know darn well you’re there then go ahead. If I lose anymore I will get the police involved because something is afoot. I live in Easton in Norwich Norfolk and my delivery driver is either inefficient or dishonest.

They only have one star because I can't give them none. A two day delivery is still not here one week later. They send out emails that are meaningless and contacting them seems impossible. Bad is not the word. In an era of Internet shopping delivery is key Yodel don't do it.

They are the worst carrier I've ever had the misfortune to deal with; for four days I've stayed in awaiting a parcel to arrive when they've said, but not yet... Their website is hours behind in being updated and they never answer the phone...

Abysmal service. The worst courier out there! Inaccurate information provided regarding delivery date and time. Useless at solving problems when they do arise. The updates on the website are of no use whatsoever.

Untrustworthy. Liers. Customer support awful. Drivers get lost can't find you and say no one was in. They never leave a card when they say they do.

I am, sadly, joining the many other highly dissatisfied customers on here. I ordered a dressing table on e-bay for my daughter and received an email 7th Dec 02:00 advising it was at their Mitcham depot (their depot in Chessington, where I live, has permanently closed....wonder why!!!). Same day at 08;37 it was with one of their drivers for delivery to me. Same day at 17:31 email to say they had tried to deliver but I wasn't in but they had left a card (neither of which were true!!). I re-arranged a delivery for the next day. Having read the reviews, I was doubtful but lived in hope. Sure enough, no delivery, explanation or apology. my tracking this morning (9th Dec at 10:15am) just says "sorry we couldn't deliver to you today. Check back here for updates!!!! My daughter is so disappointed. Shocking customer service and I have no idea how this company is still operating and why other companies use them!!!

I feel that in writing this review I am simply adding fuel to a fire that is already raging. However i'm going to do it anyway because who doesn't like a good moan. Firstly my delivery window was extended 1 minute before it was supposed to end. It was a 3 hour window......how can you get that that wrong. Secondly I specifically asked for signed for delivery because I live in flats and didn't want to package to go missing (It was clearly marked wine, so an attractive proposition indeed). However the driver decided to leave it outside behind a 2 foot wall....which was considered a 'safe place'. Literally anyone walking past could have picked it up, sodded off and had a very enjoyable Friday evening. I was in all day, door bell didn't even ring. Come on Yodel! I'm not asking your driver to cure cancer or write a symphony on the way to my door. Just walk up and ring the door bell. Not recommended unless you want to run the risk of people getting their mittens on your vino

NEVER AGAIN! My mum ordered a delivery, this was delivered by YODEL. They left my mums parcel on our door step, this was NOT the instruction we left! Came back home to find that they posted a delivered note through the door to say there was two parcels left on doorstep (even though she only ordered one, very strange) but anyways received the note but the parcels have been stolen from our door step!!! Never instructed YODEL to leave them!! VERY VERY Disappointed, company have not even bothered to do anything when my mum called! ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Very bad service. Parcel was apparently delivered to my neighbour but I was at home waiting for it and no yodel worker came to deliver to my house, no card left at my house to say where my parcel is and my neighbour was at work the whole day so yodel driver didn’t even come to her house. I know my neighbours and I know they wouldn’t lie to me. Yodel is ignoring me after So many emails i wrote them, And I can see I lost a lot of money and a xmas present for my child. Not happy with yodel at all. And if people want their goods delivered then do not use yodel.

As a delivery firm, they need to train their drivers that the purpose of them driving around is actually to deliver parcels..... not to leave the depot and take them back! Customer service and chat very poor.... avoid if you want it delivered!

Waited in all day & then get an email … Waited in all day & then get an email at 4:30pm saying they had tried to deliver & I wasn't in ! Also said they had left a calling card ! I was in all day & no calling card was left. Sounds more like the driver decided to finish early & just couldn't be bothered delivering. Took a full day of work for this & they lie saying they have called when they haven't. I demand compensation for a working day lost.

Lies, lies and more lies... apparently tried to deliver, but missed me... I’ve been at home with ‘flu all day. I can see the front door/driveway from where I have sat. I have a ‘Ring’ doorbell that notifies me when someone comes onto the driveway. No courier attempted and failed delivery - they just like to lie... seems to be a very common complaint with this company. I will stick with DPD from now on!

Yodel were delivering from Aldi. Got text to say delivery would be at a certain time Sunday evening, I stayed in but it didn't arrive. Next day got text giving another time slot. It didn't arrive. Went online to track, message said yodel couldn't get access to my property. They had not put a card through my door, and it doesn't seem that they even came to my house. Had to make 3 calls to Aldi before eventually getting delivery. Very poor

Congratulations YODEL, thanks for NOT delivering my parcel yet again. I have received your confirmation e-mail regarding it's signed for delivery, but no parcel. You really are the worst courier delivery company in the modern world, you portray a wonderful website, with all the information anyone can possibly need, but just try and actually use it, you're faced with "Rate your delivery" - "Track your parcel" etc, which then directs you to an "Invalid Session ID, Please try again". Next obvious step then seems to be, to contact you by the webchat facility, which annoyingly keeps hovering around your screen. But no, that constantly states that "We're talking, Please try again later" or "Sorry we've shut up for the day" Then the next obvious thing for anyone, would be to try and phone you, very wrong, my Daughter tried that one, when something very similar happened to her regarding a YODEL delivery. I was charged £17-21p for the privilege of her using your premium phone line, whilst trying to rectify the problem, which only ended with me having to go to our "Local" YODEL depot which is a 42 mile round trip. The depot appears to have no address, only a postcode, which by the way, when using a satellite navigation system only takes you down a lane. I was lucky to spot a YODEL van, and followed it all the way to the depot. Don't even think that I will be contacting you by your premium line, I know the law very well, your contract is not with me, but with the seller. They will be sorting it, not me. I will be concentrating fully, on distributing this complaint on every available review site, inclusive of every social media site I can possibly think of, including the seller. Because I know you will just send me a standard reply, just like you do to everyone else who has the audacity to complain. But believe me, when I say that you are worse than useless, and that you really do need to concentrate on what the customer really wants, and that is not an all singing and dancing website that does absolutely nothing for them when things go wrong. I look forward to your standard reply. Thank you.

Yodel are unbelievably poor in terms of customer service, so much so that I will now be checking if they provide delivery for any of my future online orders and steering clear if they do. My experience trying to receive an order from Levis with Yodel:- Day 1 - they tried to deliver, I wasn't there so they left a calling card. All fine and fair enough Day 2 - I sit at home waiting for my package until 2pm as they won't provide time slots. They have an mobile tracking device that tells you how many stops before yours, I used this. Unfortunately the driver does not attempt to even knock on my door, never mind deliver the parcel. I call customer services who are in South Africa who promise to raise an official complaint about the driver and also guarantee my package by 11am the next day. Day 3 - 11am comes and goes. I use the mobile tracking device, once it gets to less than 10 stops before me I actually stand at the window to watch for the yodel van. No yodel van drives down my road but at 2pm I get a text telling me sorry I wasn't in and the driver has left a calling card. Unbelievable as the driver hasn't even bothered to try to drive down my road. I call customer services who confirm it was the same driver as the day before so completely wasted discussion the day before. I ask to speak to a manager but am told this can only happen on a call back mechanism so I ask to join that queue. I ask for the number of the depot but get told they don't have a phone number. They tell me the depot will call me and arrange what to do with my parcel. Day 4 - No call back from manager of customer service, no call back from the depot. The depot is a 30 minute drive for me so even if I went to pick up my parcel it would take an hour mid week which is completely unacceptable when I've been here to collect my parcel. This also happened to me when I used Mothercare a few months before so clearly not a one off driver but a bad policy that if you are not in on the first attempt they will state to their client they have tried to deliver 2 further times when in reality they do not bother.
