Delayed delivery, damaged then delayed pay out on insured claim. Sent a brand new table and chairs to a relative on next day delivery in 2 parcels, bought insurance for full value (£125). One parcel delivered next day, the other delayed by "adverse weather" that somehow only affected one parcel. When delivered a day late the table was damaged and refused. It took 2 weeks from collection to return and the ability to claim. When claiming for replacement I was initially told I'd have to list the missing parts and provide individual part prices to claim for the parts! I bought and sent a whole table! Following on from the above, I'm now informed as per the below email that because the item they've damaged is £100 I have to wait an unlimited time for settlement of the claim. Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. We sincerely apologise for the delay in resolution to your claim. We do have all relevant documents from yourself and require nothing further from you. As your claim is of such a high value, we do have to have approval for the offers made by higher management and this is something that we cannot put a time limit on. We greatly appreciate your patience at this time and will be in contact accordingly. In the meantime please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further queries. Kindest Regards YodelDirect.co.uk If Yodel don't want to pay £100 + refund claims then they shouldn't damage insured parcels of that value and to delay payment is ridiculous.

We waited all day for a delivery. 4pm tracking service informed us that it had not been delivered as we could not be reached. No note or phone call. I do not believe the driver even tried. Saw no one all day form Yodel but the royal mail some how managed to find us and deliver mail. No human when I rang Yodel just an electronic response telling me what I knew already and would not allow me to arrange a redelivery.

Appalling service. I try to avoid ordering anything from a company that uses Yodel because it's just not worth the effort. This time they claimed to have delivered our (large) parcel to us on a day when we were actually away from home and when we returned three days later found it in the street, 50 yards away, with contents damaged. At a previous address we had similar false delivery claims more than once, but only from Yodel.

M and S Flower delivery. Did not arrive on nominated day which was a Birthday. Rang M and S next day and it transpired flowers were damaged. Yodel never advised us of this. Would never use Yodel again. Also curious if Yodel would ever have told us if we had noir contacted M and S ( who were excellent). Yodel service would have been given no state rating by us if it was possible to do so. AVOID at all costs

Yodel is a company, seems wrong to call them that really as they fail in every way to behave like one, that is unable to employ drivers that can read an address, has the worst customer service in the known universe and as a delivery service literally fails to deliver. STRONGLY advise you not to use these muppets for anything that requires dependability.

placed a order on ebay for a important product for my business, was told by seller that the delivery was for Saturday 6th January 2018. had a email yesterday (3rd jan ) from yodel saying the parcel would of been delivered and the driver was 1 stop from me, I then went home and waited, the status then changed to parcel delayed, spoke to yodel a number of times through out the day via web chat which is a waste of time, tried calling numbers and the numbers was no longer in use or all the info they would give you would be about the tracking, was told by the agent at 2030 that the parcel is still out for delivery and was told they can deliver up to 2100hrs but no joy checked the tracking info this morning (4th jan ) and it was still saying the same as yesterday with courier and due for deliver today, contact yodel yet again and they told me that it was for delivery and confirmed delivery date as the 3rd. I told them that its now the 4th, they told me that the parcel was delayed and they guaranteed me it would be delivered today, they also told me that driver attempted delivery yesterday but was unsuccessful as there was no body at home, this is incorrect as I was in all-day and there was no card threw door or neighbours didn't see no attempt of delivery, the agent asked me to forward them any info on my property to forward to driver to help them find the property easier, why would they need this info if the driver attempted delivery mmmmmmm.??? just checked the tracking info again and was told that the parcel is now with local sorting office and will be delivered within 72hrs I will highly recommend people not to use this company, I have lost two days wages and potentially another day, really bad customer service. reading threw reviews and a watching watch dog on this company I don't know why people use the company . they have offered me no apology or nothing STAY WAY!!!!!

No delivery waited in all day arrived next day parcel wet and box ripped this was a Christmas present .told the driver he said it was ok and walked away leaving a heavy parcel outside my front door couldn't he have put it just inside he didn't have to come in I'm a pensioner and found it very difficult to lift it

Possibly the worst courier ever and if I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered shoes from House of Fraser on Christmas Eve and paid extra for next day delivery which was 28th December. We did this as we were going away on the 30th. I could see on their site that the shoes were delivered to the Yodel depot on 27th Dec and that is where they still are today on 30th December. After contacting Yodel on a useless web chat I was told I’d have to wait until the evening to get ‘Feedback’ on the chat site??? What does that mean? I then called House of Fraser who were more helpful but couldn’t resolve the issue for me but in all fairness they’d done their part in getting the item to Yodel on time. They said a courier may be able to drop it to me later in the day and someone would call. I’m still waiting for that call. I did call H of F back later and spoke to a lady who told me sadly my item would be delivered in 48 hours time!! No good for me at all!! She even said they have problems contacting Yodel!! Unlike DPD who tell you there every movement before they get to you, this company have no concern for their customers at all. I hope I don’t ever have to use them again and House of Fraser should reconsider using them as their courier as it reflects badly on them too.

Worst delivery firm ever had email to say my parcel had been delivered and it hadn’t rang up to be told it was a mistake would be delivered next day waited in it didn’t come rang back to be told it would be day after it came but was damaged on delivery

I was out when parcel was delivered but I received a text informing me that the parcel had been delivered and left in a safe place. When I got home there was a note through my letterbox with instruction regarding where my parcel had been left. Precise instructions given and a thoughtful safe place chosen to leave my parcel. Thank you Yodel!

1 is generous! Parcel has been in their Nantgarw depot since December 10th, still not delivered and it's the 28th. No update on the tracker. Filled in a complaint and not heard back. Terrible service

Their drivers are out and out liars - caught out by CCTV! Argos had arranged to collect a parcel from us today. They emailed me instructions 2 days ago, which I followed to the letter, packaging the goods, labelling them correctly and the parcel was by the front door. 30 minutes ago I took a phone call from their returns company to say that Yodel had called to collect the parcel at 10:35 and had been told by someone at the house that the parcel was not ready for collection. This is a total lie. Nobody called at the house and there was nobody who walked up to the front door as proved by the CCTV footage. This is just a bone idle liar of a driver who just wanted to be paid for not doing any work, or maybe it is because we are in a village that he did not fancy the drive out to us. The returns company have arranged for DPD to collect the parcel later today. Hopefully that will go better! Argos - stop being so cheap and using a company that has so many problems, you are just encouraging their survival!

I never got any parcel which the courier was Yodel ( 5 times now). They said the delivery was attempted which isn't true because I was at home. No card was left. I will not buy from retailers that use Yodel.

Ruined my Christmas ,lost delivery of Christmas presents, am I surprised? No not really every delivery from them I've had is late had I have realized b4 ordering the company used these I would never have ordered .

Absolute morons. They delivered my package to the wrong address. First I knew about it was when I got their standard automated email stating that it has been left in a safe place (on the porch). I was at home and knew that there had been no delivery. Phoned the number that was on the email which went to VM and I left a message to explain that there had been no delivery. Nobody bothered to phone back. Fortunately the homeowner of where it had been delivered took the time to come and deliver the package to me himself so I do have it in spite of Yodels efforts. UPDATE - To top things off Yodel were due to deliver another package today which at 10pm at night has had the status updated to "We tried to deliver your parcel but couldn't access your property." What a complete shambles. UPDATE - Fri 22/12/2017 16:16 So hoping Yodel could redeem themselves today. It seems that they had another go at attempting to deliver my package. First off, despite me responding to Maaliks offer of help on this website, I have had no response from him or anyone else at Yodel. Their website has permanently had the online chat unavailable all day. So my assumption is that these responses here on Trustpilot are just some automated email. Despite my emails to them and the sender of the package asking them to prioritise my package they put it 103 in the queue. At 16:03 the tracking website states We tried to deliver your parcel but couldn't access your property. It is beyond me how they can fail to find my house on 3 separate occaisions - do these guys not have access to a map or sat nav? Or have they just decided to knock off early for the day so they can tuck into some mince pies? it's a good job santa doesn't work for them or there would be millions of disappointed kids waking up on Xmas day. As it is - it's just going to be my kids who are disappointed. Yodal - you are complete disgrace and the sooner you are out of business the better.

Yodel had package in their depot on the 20/12 17 its now the 22/12 now told it could be any time within 72 hrs what a joke this company are

Ordered parcel from House of Fraser. Tracking said parcel arrived at distribution centre but no further info for days. Finally after many attempts to get info on delivery HoF told me that Yodel have lost parcel. It seems somehow parcel was lost between the depot and the courier. No one at Yodel would speak with me just directed me back to HoF - HoF just said they could do nothing except refund as Yodel lost the parcel - disgusting. I will not ever use a store who use Yodel to deliver.
