Really bad company. Everytime single time someone has sent us a parcel using Yodel it has always been delayed by several days. Impossible to get through to them by telephone and even live chat is busy. I can't believe that this company is still trading in this day and age.

Feel rather deceitful having to give 1 star....... Its an amazing company, if you don't mind having to contact the courier once your parcel shows as delivered......or add to your daily step count playing "guess which door it was posted through", closely followed by the prayer offered upwards to the God of Shiftworkers that they are NOT working nights or, even worse, working from home. There's an unwritten understanding that when you order an item for home delivery it is actually delivered to YOUR home. The courier was apologetic when he called me, and is probably under pressure to meet delivery figures - but surely all the bad reviews should nudge them to re-think their strategy?

Awful service as usual. 8 our of 10 deliveries with Yodel have issue and this time it was no different. Been home awaiting the delivery although the text received said the delivery was going to be between 18:54 and 20:54. No show. But what really got to me is that the tracking details said that the driver missed me at 21:11and left a calling card... I was home waiting for him/her. I even checked if there was a calling card but of course it was not there. It's snowing outside ... the snow was undisturbed... so either the driver went to the wrong house (not surprising) or that was a blatant lie. I do not understand all the good review. Definitely around London Yodel is providing an unacceptable service. The representative that answer the chat was polite. Delivery is rescheduled for tomorrow. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Delivery due tues 27th ,no parcel received, said they called at 14.14. This is a lie we have a camera on front of house and no one called and no card left. Was promised delivery wed still no parcel,promised again thurs and still no parcel. Chat facility is useless just keep printing standard replies and excuses. No one will return a call to you. The customer service is deplorable. They are not interested and can't wait till people wake up to them and start using a more reliable courier service

Order for parcel to pick up came wrong day rang yodel they said would pick up no one came rang customers services picked up from address Thursday then tuesday 6 pm got email parcel sent back still not got my goods Pethetick company will never use again keep well away from this company

Avoid if possible. The delivery attempt 'failed' 3 times in a row according to Yodel parcel tracking system. Even though we have a concierge in the building I was waiting at the location myself to pick it. No one called to tell me there are some issues. I believe they just put fake information online. Client support is useless, cannot even call the driver or get any details. Just giving me the same promise every time I contact them - 'I have raised this matter for you with our depot (...) I can assure this parcel should be delivered tomorrow'.

If I could, I would have given a zero. Awful customer service. I received an email and text on the scheduled delivery date saying the driver had tried to deliver my parcel but no one was home, so they left me a 'sorry we missed you' card. Blatant lie, because someone was home all morning. My parcel was redelivered on Monday, but it was too late to give to my son, who was meant to receive it that weekend for his birthday and then take it back to school with him. I now have to send it on to him via Guaranteed Delivery as its a high value item, and will be out of pocket by £7.25. I've tried to contact customer services (twice) to request they pay for postage, sent 2 online complaints, and had a webchat to try and resolve the situation, with no luck. Never using them again.

I paid over £60 for a few parcels to be collected. I waited in all day from 7:30 then checked the tracking and apparently the came and the parcel wasnt ready?? no one came, so i rebooked for the net day and at the exact time today it said the same thing parcel not ready and again they did not show. I went on live chat they told me i had to wait for the depot to confirm the items can be picked up???? are they serious i pay over £60 for them not to show twice and then i have to wait to see if they can collect them. woudlnt give me a refund or anything so i can book else were i just kept getting told phone our depot a few times through day to see if they have made a choice wether or not they are going to get collected.

Delivery recorded as 'cannot gain access to property' as the driver cannot be bothered to drop a package off to reception. Customer service is none existent, and the online web chat is unable to achieve anything other than send a message to depot that may or may not be received within 24 hours. I suspect YODEL is not a delivery company, but just a fleet of vans.

I placed an online order for Saturday delivery and paid the extra to get the parcel delivered on a Saturday delivery. Checking the tracking it said there was a short delay and Sorry we couldn't deliver to you today! and no further explanations and Monday was going to be the delivery date which wasn't what was arranged and paid for. I went on to their web chat as i am not going to call a premium rate number to find out why they could not be bothered to deliver my parcel. It seems they do not deliver to business addresses on Saturday even if Saturday delivery has been paid for, and the parcel had been classed as a business address even though the address is residential I have looked on their website and cant find anything that says they don't deliver to business addresses on a Saturday. The online supplier lost out as i told them to return to sender and asked for my money back.

As usual delivered to wrong address. As usual there was someone at home all day here. If yodel employed couriers with at least a basic grasp of English it might improve Unreliable at best.

My first exeperience of Yodel, and now I will probably be avoiding any company that uses them, including M&S. I live in the US so ordered flowers, chocolates and Prosecco to be delivered to my mum for her birthday today. I received the email confirmation that the parcel had been left "in a safe place" which confused me as I'd not long before spoken to my parents and knew they were both at home. After 45 minutes I texted my Dad to check, unfortunately he didn't get that text for another two hours so mum's flowers were outside the house for nearly three hours in the wind and rain because the delivery driver hadn't knocked on the door. If I hadn't checked with Dad, they would have been out there all night! when I tried to contact Yodel, I had "Data Protection" quoted at me and told only the recipient could make a complaint. All I see are negative reviews of this company: why does a company like M&S continue to use them?

No words to describe this firm. Utter shambles. I now refuse to order from anywhere that use their service. Wait in all day for repeat no shows, throw stuff over your fence (containing glass) dont even leave calling cards. A grave shame this site does not allow zero starts

After tracking pacel all day, suddenly received tracking update that parcel had 'failed delivery' two hours earlier and card was left. Totally rubbish, as I was in all day, kept tracking parcel and dog on guard. No attempted delivery was made and above all to proof they didn't try no card was left. When contacting 'help chat' they just confirm redelivery is scheduled. Either company rubbish or drivers dishonest. Will not use again and would not recommend.

Recieved an email to say parcels would be delivered today or tomorrow, few hours later recieved email to say goods delivered and signed for by 'H H TERROR' in the worst scenario someone at that company is dishonest at best they have delivered to wrong address and proven themselves incompatent at best if not negligent.

First package delivered with outer plastic torn, tear penetrating into pillow case bag. after contacting seller, Homescapes - a very efficient and pleasant company, they sent another bag, Moron delivering the bag pushed a note through my kitchen door - I was right there - didn't ring the bell on the door - note said "delivering bag next door" ! went round to my neighbour - they'd got her out of the bath to give her the package. These people are not just illiterate and innumerate, they are dysfunctional and cause endless trouble - they must be the worst carrier on ourplanet. DON'T EVER USE YODEL - THEY'RE A BASKET CASE - JUST LOOK AT THEIR OTHER REVIEWS TO CONFIRM THIS. Fuming. Stanley.
