This company's drivers lie about attempted delivery This company's drivers lie about attempting to deliver your parcel. I have been waiting for nearly 1 week for a parcel that Yodel notified me had been delayed. Then I received emails telling me the driver had left a card as we were not at home. My wife and I have been self isolating for the last 7 days and not been out of the house. When I contacted Yodel's driver by text he replied saying the parcel had been delayed because of Covid and it would be delivered either the next day or the following day. No delivery attempt was made but the updated parcel tracking said attempts had been made and cards left. Complete lies. Avoid this company at all costs. They should not be in the delivery business.

Definitely the worst delivery company in the UK. Same story as most other people on here. Waiting for a package of Xmas gifts to post home to Australia ASAP. Package marked as 'delivered' - doorbell never rang, went out and checked 10 minutes after it was supposedly delivered - nothing there. Checked with all the neighbours. Webchat claimed their 'satellite GPS' shows it was delivered to the correct address. Driver said it was delivered 'outside the black door' - however my door is blue. Now have to try and get a refund/redelivery from the seller. Probably won't get my gifts home in time for Xmas. Thanks a lot Yodel

I got a text and email to say my parcel was delivered on Sat 14th November at 7p.m. It wasn't. We were home and our lounge is just beside the front door. I looked outside and it was not left outside our house. The parcel is now missing. I raised the issue with YODAL who said they will ask the driver. They were closed yesterday so I could not communicate with anyone there. At the moment it's my word vs the drivers. He has recorded it as delivered. I never received it. Am very upset.

Yodel JD0002210112023997 delivery scheduled delivery PM Saturday 14th Nov , I in all day, no delivery At this point i had already guessed I would never see the delivery (wine) Re-scheduled 15th November , no. a.m. or p.m. given ! I was in and located within 4 metres of adjacent hallway to my doorbell ringer Then message "delivery refused at door" , 10 Apartment in this Building always someone to let in and I was in I checked hallway, no 'failed delivery' note left. A case of wine I will never see nor the sender Sunday Times Wine Club !!!!!!!!!!!!! Not difficult to work out why !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pathetic service and not the first time . Last time , I am live in Brighton, Yodel update arrived Gatwick awaiting pickup , next arrived Manchester depot ,then days later parcel damaged , then item damaged then nothing , I got cash refund from sender; Yodel got the parcel

My girlfriend bought a coffee bundle of different flavours for a friend of hers and she’s been out at work at a care home and I’ve been in all day and so has my family, she got an email at 3:20pm yesterday but she only read it after returning from work which was around 9pm. It said it has been delivered to a safe place.....by “safe place” it was outside our next door neighbour’s door, no note was left and no one was in to tell us if our neighbour got a parcel for us, not only that but the package was soaked in the rain, we had no one knocking on the door all day and it was still daylight so my only conclusion is the driver delivered it to the wrong address not bothering to leave a note for our neighbour to tell us about a parcel left on their front door. The level of “care” and sense of knowing the correct address is just lazy if I’m honest, I could’ve not twigged about it and left my suspicions but it just made no sense, I mean it was literally 1 door away from the correct address which is only 3 metres away, how can you get that wrong?

THE MACHINES THEY USE DO NOT WORK THEY DELIVERED A PARCEL TO ME NOT MINE I SPOKE TO THE LADY WHO IS SHOULD HAVE GONE TO EBAY SAID PARCEL DELIVERED IT WAS PUT THROUGH HER LETTERBOX DRIVER 2 OF THEM (LIERS) HE PUT THE PARCEL IN MY HAND WHEN I GOT OUT OF MY CAR ? I ONLY REALISED IT WAS NOT MINE WHEN I DIDNT RECOGNISE IT I HADNT BOUGHT IT LOOKED ON THE PARCEL HER NUMBER WAS THERE SO WE TALKED EBAY HAD PUT DELIVERED ( WHAT ) HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN THEY HAVE MACHINES DONT THEY ????? THEY DONT WORK ......HOW CAN THEY DELIVER TO ME WHEN HER ADDRESS IS STREETS AWAY DIFFERENT POST CODE AND USE THE MACHINE AND SAYING ITS BEEN DELIVERED WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS WE LIVE IN BAD TIMES WITH THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DYING AND THERE ARE DISGRACEFUL PEOPLE LIKE THESE LYING AND DECEIVING FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS MISTAKES ARE MADE YES THERE ONLY HUMAN, WHAT MAKES THEM A ROTTEN PAIR IS THE FACT THEY DELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESS THEY GAVE IT TO ME THEN HAD THE Audacity TO TELL LIES SO EBAY GOT WRONG INFO TO PASS TO THE CUSTOMER JUST SICK

Worst service ever posted my daughter's parcel to shop thinking nothing can go wrong seemingly driver said shop not open even when my daughter got a code to collect then it was returned 3 hours later to depot. When I got in touch they investigated so they told me it was being sent back to me well today I live in Norfolk the parcel is Lemington. When I spoke to customer services they said its actually lost. To raise a claim that was my grand daughters Xmas. When I asked about reporting it to the police as being stolen they cut my chat off. Well done yodel. Ruined a, girls Xmas thought by sending it now wouldn't go a miss.

Useless, and potential thieves. Parcel was supposedly signed for , but was never delivered. Asked for photo proof, as every other company now takes them . Nothing , referred me back to company I Bought from . Will never use a company that uses yodel again.

Awful.. had email saying parcel delivered, it wasn't!!! Chat set up with yodel, she said it might have been left at another house 2 roads away! I went to suggested house, man said he'd had no delivery either. Absolutely incompetent, have to wait 24 hours now for email response from yodel!! 😡😡

Yodel stated they’d delivered my parcel when they hadn’t! I was at home & had been tracking it. Live chat unhelpful & suggested I visit nearby addresses to try and find it!! Shocking service.

Honestly the worst delivery service in the UK. Unreliable, parcels can arrive days late, drivers don't even attempt deliveries on many occasions. Pathetic company.

Just the worst delivery service. Every time I see a delivery is arriving through them I groan as I know it won’t be turning up on time or they’ll be some kind of issue. Useless company

Incompetent. Said they tried to deliver a parcel 2 days in a row and had left a card. I was standing at the door both days waiting after following tracking.

Would have given zero stars but I can't. I sent a parcel on the 1st of November with collect+ unknown to me that collect+ also have a share in Yodel, my parcel was on a 3 day service and as of today, 13th November is still in transit. On contacting customer services was told driver couldn't find address so I gave additional directions but no point because parcel was sent back to depot, contacted customer service they tell me we'll arrange 2nd delivery on 13th November NO attempt at delivery as recipient told me nobody has attempted delivery, customer services then told me that the parcel would be available for collection but the catch is the parcel would be available for collection at the depot by the recipient but he would have to travel some 20 miles to collect so I suggested a re-delivery. now my parcel is being returned to me because its now been reported as damaged. Its all very bizarre. SERIOUSLY Please stay well clear of either of these two companies, the hassle isn't worth, with them its just continual lies.......will I receive the returned item, probably not but who knows.

One star is too much, -5 is more accurate. Yesterday I was at home but I couldn’t hear anything from the driver, just got a note that he missed me. Today I was tracking my package constantly since number 28 (before me) and I went outside the house from 16 onwards. I stayed for 45min-1hour and the app got stuck at number 6. I also got an email saying that my parcel will be delivered 4 hours later so I went back inside the house and still referencing tha app every 3-4 minutes. Well, once when I updated it it jumped from the forever number 6 to “missed delivery”. And I was genuinely downstairs with no sound at all so I could hear. No knock, no ring, no tracking updates. Also I contacted the firm and they said they registered my complaint and I need to wait 24h for response even if the driver was still on the same street and had my package!! And then they hung up and closed the chat out of a sudden. Such rubbish service from both the driver and the call/web centre. I genuinely don’t know why this people get paid at all!!! WHAT A WASTE ON SALARIES FOR THIS!!!

Just left my parcel on neighbours doorstep, in the rain, neighbour wasn't in so who knows how long it was there with £200 worth of electrical contents. If they can't read the doornumber shouldn't be doing the job, sort it out yodel.
