I’ve used short notice tests a few times - for my children. On each occasion we have received new test dates very quickly. The system works exactly as described on the website - so keep your phone nearby as when you get the text, accompanied by a phone call to tell you that you have a text with a new date - you have just 10 minutes to accept or reject. For my latest cancellation, I got the new test date, for one of our preferred dates, after just 3 days waiting. It’s well worth the fee if you want to bring a test date forward.
