I was a bit concerned that the product box seals were broken and there was none of the usual remote batteries that you would normally expect. However, all looked new and in good order with the exception of a dangling mains lead. I reckon that a UK mains lead had been fitted in readiness? This system was intended to supply my ceiling mounted bathroom speakers whose sound is supplied from another room. Installation was very straightforward, Wireless and DAB set ups almost do themselves. Great fun. Now my bathroom is equipped with CD, Wi-Fi Internet Receiver, FM Tuner, Bluetooth Streaming, Spotify, Sleep Timer and Alarm Clock plus other connectivity options like TV sound, Memory Stick ………... I go on! But the reason that I got this one is it has got its own 120-watt Class D amplifier so I no longer have to mess around with switching on source and amp etc, I just press the on button to play my favourite radio station and press off when I’m done. Using the remote control of course. Only one drawback …….it would benefit from me spending more time in the bathroom! My second project is to get a second pair of speakers so that I can switch the sound to another room. In conclusion, it is quite unusual to find such a comprehensive system with its own amplifier. Just the job. If you need this versatility then the Audio Brescia might well be at the top of your list.
