Went to Dodd Woods at Keswick, we were going to Mire House and gardens but it was closed. Dodd woods is a great safe walk but it is all up hill. My 3 year old granddaughter loved the views between the trees to the lake and looking at all the trees. She insisted we found the gruffalos cave! Was a bit slippery for her on the way down so make sure you wear shoes with good grip.
