I found the Postgraduate Diploma extraordinary. There was the academic side for the first 3 months, including 3 projects where we pitched a certain type of event (in groups) to real clients and organised a big fundraising event. For the last 3 months, we did a work placement. It's thanks to the Event Academy that I received my first Marketing job/opportunity and proceeded to become Marketing Manager. I worked in events for 6 years and recently I decided to change industry to build on more experience and skills. All the lecturers were helpful, and insightful and guided us through and through. Plus, I'm still friends with with ex-classmates to this day. Thank you Event Academy!
