Just purchased after reading many reviews of evolution and other brands I don’t see any side play that was evident in the s380 cps in many reviews and as far as it being 90 degrees perpendicular to the blade it is very close. The only thing I can see is the back fence is not very strong and wants to flex a couple of 90X 45 supports welded in will make it stronger, not a problem for me to do. Have yet to use and if there are no issues with the motor I see it as a great addition to my garage tools
