Purchased a Karcher and used for just over 1 year. Unit went wrong and would not switch off when lance turned off. Not even the switch turned the unit off. Found the issue to be the rocker switch inside the 'E-box'. OK I thought I will purchase a new switch......nope! you can buy a new lead and even the little rubber bungs, but you can't buy the main thing that breaks (the switch). You have to buy the whole 'E-box' for about 1/3 of the cost of the original system! I will never buy Karcher again. Its a total con to do what they do. Poor design in first place to have such a poor quality switch, and the safety by the fact the unit would not turn off (as it relies on the spring to switch off, which is no good if the contacts are welded together! and then not to sell the replacement part. Avoid!!! Oh it was a K4 unit I had.
