Was wanting to have my grandfather's enlistment picture put on a banner that our town was installing on electric poles honoring service personal. I contacted our congress person to get his military records. After weeks of waiting I was told his records, along with many others was destroyed in a fire. After all our families searched for a picture, one member had a picture of his picture. It was a terrible picture that was out of focus. No way it could be used. Went on line and found MemoryCherish.
