I ordered a safe on the 23rd to be picked up at a store 50 miles away, which stated online “limited stock”. Foreshadowing to the 28th the same store still has this safe listed as “Limited stock”. On the 26th I emailed customer service but never got a response except for the auto replay “we will promptly get back to you”, though they never did. Since I have not had any communication on my order, which was several hundred dollars, I had to take the initiative.
Waiting just over 2 hours to speak to a representative which shows this company has no accountability or diligence for customer orders. I placed an order online for a safe that was in stock just to be told that the order has not fully fulfilled since it was never allocated to a store. So if an item is on hold is it available for sale, probably not, so it should be listed as not in stock. I ordered this safe from a store 50 miles away because they showed it as limited stock, how many weeks would my order have been pending to never to receive a call or email (except for several spam sales flyers everyday)?? The solution that I was presented was to force the order through to the original store for what? Just to have them cancel the order due to no stock or leave it as pending for weeks until another arrived. I would probably have to wait two hours again to talk to a representative to cancel the pending order. Not wanting to waste my time again, I went ahead and canceled the order. Luckily for me there are other options and I am not limited to Rural King
