Unti now I have had a contract with British Gas for my central heating/hot water system. They let me down when I had a potentially dangerous situation recently (see previous post), and again yesterday when they thought it OK to leave a 79-year old with emphesema without heatig and hot water for a week! SGS to the rescue.
