Have bought four acoustics over the last 25 yrs all recommended by Sheehans, each has been wonderful. The latest, a CRAFTER GAE15, was suggested by Jason in response to my wants list. Solid cedar top, cutaway, good on-board EQ and bound fretboard, budget under £500 (came in at £430 inc pod-case). Bass is full, mid range is rich like a lute while top end has a lovely rounded presence. Sounds at least as good as & perhaps better than the USA Martin played by a fellow-band member.Who needs a Martin or Lowther with beautiful looking and sounding instruments like this?
