So I have purchased some of the bold colours and the lightening kit so far. I would say that the lightener was not good on my scalp and not in all areas but I have very low tox shampoo and it was relatively unprotected in that way. It left my hair quite dry. However I use a protein feed, leave in crème and a hair masque and this works. The colours are easy to use and smell great- again they leave the hair a little dry but I follow with a conditioning treatment. I used to use creative colour maybe a decade ago and had to sleep with hair mayonnaise in to keep it soft, so I don’t think this is all that different but maybe slightly better for the environment. The amount in the lightener is not that much - I needed about 1.5 packets to do my head.
