The service from Vision Scotland was excellent, although you'd hope for that from the price. The initial consultation was very informative and gave me the ability to make an informed decision about the various options available to me. The Zoom call with a consultant was extremely valuable. And a subsequent Zoom call with the consultant performing the surgery was very reassuring. Having selected lens replacement, the surgery went very well. The team was very welcoming on surgery day and made me feel at ease in a comfortable environment. I was fully aware of what was happening at all times and the team/surgeon answered all my questions. The only negative comment is that no-one sufficiently stressed the need to bring your darkest sunglasses for the drive home. With pupils the size of dinner plates, everything was extremely bright. I would recommend talking to Vision Scotland if you are considering this type of treatment.
