These are PERFECT for my dining chairs to prevent scratching of my wooden floor. They are very substantial and durable, with a strong nail (not a staple) or a screw for fitting. Just follow the instructions to fit : Drill a pilot hole as recommended and THEN EITHER use a mallet to hammer the nails in OR use a screwdriver to screw the screw in if you are fitting the screw type glide.
