Honestly, they aren't hitting as hard as I thought they were going to after reading all the reviews. I paired them up with the skar 1200 watt amp that I already had. I had a single 12 in there before and it had a lot more bass but the tripple 8s have a more punchy bass. I'm going to keep playing around with the amp and see if I can make them hit harder. I've broke them in for 30 hours now and with my amp 90% of the way up, the subs don't get much flex. They sound great but just not as loud as I was hoping for...
