Monty loves nibblin on plantain. She's not bothered what size of leaf I give her (there's two varieties)...as long as I give her plantain! When she's eaten what I have given her, she will beg me for more!! Ideal foodstuff to help with a reduced appetite. As soon as you open the cellophane, the aroma of plantain doesn't take long before it's reached Monty. It's a case of "nose in bag" with her....her impatience and zest for eating this leafy green is quite amusing. Seriously though, if you have a bunny that has a reduced appetite, try them with this. It is in the same calibre as parsley and coneflower....all of which seem to aid appetite. Plantain should be kept as a regular foodstuff for times of convalescence post surgery or illness.....provided bunny still can eat normally. Well recommended. Disappointed in that the cellophane tears easily and you can't seal an open bag. My personal trick is to use a clothes peg after rolling/folding the open part of the bag. That's my only bug bear.
