“I tried booking the appointment on the 1-800-Battery.com website but had trouble with it accepting my credit card (my VISA card provider later said it was because the billing address defaulted to the merchant's). I then called on the phone to book the appointment and straighten out the billing; the agent said the billing address issue was the company's standard approach. So I used a different card which was accepted. The appointment and delivery/installation went perfectly and quickly so that part was wonderful. If I hadn't had a 2nd credit card to offer, it might not have worked, though.”

“Finding what I needed was easy on the website. The only thing I would ask is that when the service has been dispatched that they would keep you updated on the progress and let you know it has been assigned to a tech. I kept wondering if my appointment would happen and I relied on chat to reassure me that things were on track.”

“Your technician Damian was fantastic. Your notifications could use some work. You give a link that asks for a password that was never established. Dates and timing are unclear on your notifications.”

“Everything worked out perfectly. I was anxious in the beginning to be working with a company I had never heard of. But they responded quickly to all my concerns. The technician, Marc ,who came to my home, was competent, friendly, and quickly took care of my automotive needs. I’d definitely use them again.”

“Alan was courteous and made short work in replacing the battery. I would suggest adjusting your website to close out the appointments after the time frame or when a technician wouldn’t be able to arrive on time.”

“I was very pleased with the response. JW was there within a couple of hours. He was very thorough in checking everything during the installation. My only complaint was the battery that he brought was not the one I had asked for and it did not show up on the ones available on the website, so I'm not sure if it was cheaper or more expensive. He offered to go back and pick up the AC Delco it purchased but I accepted the one he had. I was just a little leary of a bait-and-switch situation. I guess I will find out in time if the battery is satisfactory.”

“Battery price was doubled but the convenience was priceless. Thought I had ordered Diehard but received a Delco. Eric Brown, the battery technician was a delight. Very knowledgeable and had all the equipment needed to do the job.”

“The service technician was great, and the installation was very quick. The issue that I had was getting the service completed. I ordered a new car battery for ASAP delivery/installation, which the website says is 2-3 hours. To be fair, it was on a Sunday, so I asked through the chat if it would be completed that day. I was assured that it would be. It was not. After several inquiries, the service technician came the next day, about 24 hours after I placed the order. In this type of situation, I suggest telling customers that installation on the same day is not guaranteed and keeping them informed on the status if it is delayed to the next day. Otherwise, the service and convenience were great.”
