Great customer service (Chris) - need to have experienced installers who can recognize an incorrect battery which I fortunately caught. Also, had additional drop-down menu selections for special vehicle models. I have a FORD - F-150 "King Ranch" mod but King Ranch wasn't an option to select and it has an entirely different battery requirement than a regular Ford - F-150. Could've caused the customer a total inconvenience or vehicle to not perform (electronic fuel injection) properly not to mention the wasted man-hours. Installer did not knkw or believe the different battery (obvious size difference) would be a problem. Not a good biz model guys.

Estimated time was blown away by 5 hours with no communication that there was going to be a delay.

They did a good job overall, but showed up 22 hours early for the scheduled appointment. Because of the this, we hadn’t yet dug the car out of the snow. It was 5pm and super icy out. We dug it out for them and made it work, but were definitely not expecting them 22 hours early.

Wonderful customer service and company. But they were an hour and a half late for my appointment time, with no apologies. Everything else was exceptional: would recommend, just plan ahead for long wait times.

1-800 Battery Too expensive! I waited the whole day on Saturday. I booked the 9am morning appointment, and ended up calling back 4-5 times during the day to obtain updated ETA. Once the installer arrived about 5:05pm, it took less than ten minutes. I think the scheduling aspect of the operation needs vast improvement. I requested but never received a copy of the 36-month warranty. Installer could not provide any warranty.

I was disappointed with the way my service request was managed and handled. In particular no updates regarding status. The service request was made on Friday afternoon 12/17 and I was told it would take approximately two hours to complete the battery replacement. I texted your firm after waiting 2.5 hours only to learn the service wouldn't happen until 12/18 between 11 AM and noon. At approximately 12:30 on 12/18 I texted and called your firm to get confirmation the order would be completed. The service was completed at approximately 3:15 on 12/18. As a customer, being stranded without the courtesy of truthful/accurate updates is bad business. The "technician" who installed the battery is a new hire of yours, he was polite and did the job in short order. My issue is that I had to initiate communication with your firm to get updates and status; otherwise, I was left waiting. The "optimistic" time estimates given without the means in place to meet those estimates is not good business.

When the actual service was completed I was very pleased... However I had to call three different times to get an accurate ETA! I asked for the service ASAP and one customer service rep told me they wouldn't be coming until the next day! The company states it should take about 90 minutes but it ended up taking about 4hrs before the technician should up!

Work was fast! But the process took for about 1 1/2 day. Thats okay im just glad my battery was changed! Thank you!

The estimated response time was about 3 hours and it ended up being twice that. The guy who came out did not do diagnostics on the current battery, just put the new battery in, and when I said per the Utube video provided by the company he was supposed to run diagnostics first and then if the battery is fine and it just needs a jump, I’ll be charged for just a jump. When I made the guy put the old battery back in and test it, the battery was fine. He told me repeatedly he doesn’t get paid anything if he doesn’t replace the battery and that his work order just said to change the battery (not run diagnostics). The guy was nice and helpful but it was an awkward situation and was definitely not what the Utube video says to expect from the process.

1800battery basically is a 3rd party that locates private mechanics in your area to come change your battery. I read the reviews online so I was aware that the service typically runs 2-4 hours late. I also knew that 1800battery doesn't proactively let you know they are running hours late. So when my slotted time came I just called them and waited several minutes. I was very nice to the phone agent and he was nice and apologetic and told me they were indeed running 2 hours late. The mechanic was great and said that they told him the wrong battery but fortunately he had the right battery as well. Took 20 minutes. If you're in a rush or stranded you're better off calling roadside service. But if you have ~12 hours to wait and are in a position to do other things in the meantime 1800 battery is a good option. But expect potential mismatches with your battery and delays. And always be kind to the mechanic/service agents. They are not the problem.

The GOOD: Your technician was very polite and efficient. The BAD: On your website, I was quoted a total cost of $249.99 + tax for battery and installation. But then I was charged a surprise "mileage fee" of $19.00. 1. This fee was not previously mentioned. 2. The 1-800-Battery location in my hometown is about 1.5 miles from my house, not 19 miles roundtrip.

I would love to have given a 5 star but when I booked my service, my card didn't go through and no one left a message or sent me a text. I was desperate and needed service asap. I waited 3 hours and called to see where the tech was and THAT'S when I was told that I needed to give another card. Of course, then, the time frame started over again. I didn't get service until after 8pm.

We received a new battery, it was installed and it works. The customer service was not good however. Luckily we were located at our house but we were originally told just over an hour. 3 hours later they did arrive- with no incoming communication about the delay- we had to call multiple times. I completely understand being busy but just an update would have been useful for planning purposes. When the tech arrived he didn’t test the old battery, or speak to my husband at all/ he was on a phone call the whole time. So I guess the utility is fine but don’t expect any customer service.

Can't say anything bad about the tech that came out to replace my battery, great dude. The only issue I had was the time frames that they gave seemed arbitrary. Nonetheless, I got a new battery in my car and was back on the road within a few hours for a reasonable price all things considered.

When I first got my ETA in my confirmation email it said it was going to take 2 hours and it ended up taking around 6 hours. It’s fine if it takes 6 hours, I just wish my ETA was accurate so I didn’t waste 6 hours just waiting around when I could’ve been doing other things. The man who changed the battery was very kind and fast when he got there I just wish my ETA was more accurate.

Very slow website. I scheduled my order for that evening, 30 minutes after my scheduled time I hopped onto the site for support. I was then informed that they wouldn't be out that evening and would schedule it for first thing in the morning. At 11:30pm that night I got a notification that someone was coming to deliver the battery, that didn't happen (fortunately). When I got onto support the next morning to clear up what was going on I got it scheduled again for 3 hours later. When the delivery person showed up, they were great and professional. They got the job done very quickly.

I liked the service and I am happy with the battery swap. However, the representative who came to change the battery was not very friendly and the customer service was not very good.

Was skeptical at first... but it turns out, they were very professional and pulled right into my driveway to make the switch in a matter of minutes. I found their pricing to be fair considering you're not just paying for a new battery, but also the convenience of not having to go and make an appointment somewhere. This was a Sunday evening and I had work the next day... shops were not even willing to have me come in. 1800-Battery literally saved the day.
