The technician was very efficient and completed the work very quickly. However, the initial order noted a 2-hour lead time for the technician to arrive - the actual arrival time was about 5 hours later.

Was told tech would be there in 2 hours tech finally showed up 5 hours later. Should have been told that upfront.

I tried to call customer service with questions about their process and was on hold FOREVER! I did a chat and text and no response until the next day AFTER I made the purchase online. The Tech arrived 30 mins. after my scheduled appt. and apologized due to a schedule conflict with me and another customer. He installed the battery, made sure everything was working fine within 30 mins. Read my detailed review on Google for a real look at the entire process.

I called around 7pm on Wednesday and was on hold for 30 mins. I hung up and did a chat and no one responded. Called again on hold 15 mins decided to use the text option while still on hold and no response. I was browsing the site trying to find answers to questions I had about the purchase process, warranty, battery sizes etc. all while STILL on hold. After 45mins. I decided to take a chance, make the purchase and set an installment appointment for the next day. I made it for 9-11am and patiently waited. Thankfully I was at home and not stranded. Thursday morning received a text from them apologizing and asking if I still needed info. I said no, made the battery purchase and waiting for the Tech. I was then told the Tech wouldn't arrive until an hour after my appointment. I asked why did I make an appointment if he wasn't going to be on time? I was told delays happen and that's why a window is given (even though it's past my window). I said I would have appreciated some type of notification beforehand; no response back. Nonetheless, at the least I was able to track the Tech's location. I'm thinking I've already paid for the battery and can't reach customer service? Is this a scam? Thankfully the Tech showed up around 11:30 and apologized for the confusion. He had another appointment scheduled for the same time as mine but didn't see mine until 10. He contacted the office to let them know and that's why I received the text from them. As for the battery replacement, he did a great job. The install probably took 30 mins max. Eric B. walked me through the process and even had equipment to connect to my car to keep from losing my data. That was a major concern for me because I thought I would need the dealership to reprogram. He checked the battery voltage and the alternator reading making sure everything was working fine. Overall I was pleased with the process. I found them by doing a search for a battery and thought is this for real? You can order a battery online, schedule delivery and they can install all for one price? I didn't appreciate not being able to connect with customer service the day I needed them. They are based out of California so there is a 3 hour time difference but that was unacceptable for me. I gave 3 stars for communication but I have to give 5 for the ease of ordering, delivery and install. Thanks again Eric!

The technician who came out to replace my battery was very professional. He did great. My negative experience was not his fault. However, the customer service department needs some work. I scheduled my installation that morning online for same-day that afternoon from 1-3pm. I contacted customer service at 130pm via chat to inquire when the tech will be there, and the agent said between 2-3pm. I then get a voicemail at 2:30pm stating the tech is out of town and needs to reschedule for tomorrow morning. Huh??? I had no choice but to accept, so I called back to reschedule and also complain, and the agent hung up on me. I should have been contacted much earlier in the day to be notified a tech was out of town. Terrible customer service. I could have just gone down to Auto-zone myself and bought a battery, and had them install it on sight in less time - and money. I paid your ridiculous overpriced fee for the convenience and speed - and your company did not deliver.

The best part of this service is that I have been able to get someone to come to Me with a new battery same day. However, their toll free number is never in working order so it’s hard to get ahold of anyone. Use the chat feature.

Technician was on time and friendly. He competently installed the battery. However he was unable to register and code the battery properly within the cars ECU. I now have a warning light that comes on ever time I start the car. 1-800 battery advertised they have the register/coding capability that is required when replacing a BMW battery. I will now have to pay another $100-200 at the dealer buying a service I already paid 1-800 Battery to perform.

Took too long and I had to have multiple follow-ups before having the battery delivered and installed. The technician was however, friendly and helpful

I was surprised when the tech showed up in his own car, two hours early. He declined to jump start or test the battery, because he was "sure it was dead." But at least I got a new battery.

I had no option to select orientation of negative and positive poles. Unfortunately, battery provided was reverse. Installer had to rig to properly connect. Not happy with that. Should that be an additional question to ask the consumer or should it be something that is assumed when make and model is stated?

Virgil Stevens: This company engages in "bait and switch" trade practices. They charged me for Die Hard Gold battery, but have installed instead a much cheaper Exide one. The Technician was very late and very rude. He refused to properly mark the date of installation so that I cannot use the warrantee. When I have refused to sign he simply faked my signature. WORST SERVICE EVER. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The convenience was great, the price was OK, but the battery that was delivered was not the DieHard I ordered. When I complained I was told that the website warns that you will not necessarily receive the battery you think you've paid for, since 1-800-BATTTERY relies on the inventory of their third-party installers. If that warning is there it's pretty hard to see!

Pricing was great and customer service reps were very professional and helpful- I had a battery installed and it was not installed properly and I was stranded less than 30 minutes after service- took 2 hours for technician to come and tighten down connections properly- nice guy and he apologized for the issue - I know nobody is perfect and they were professional but 2 hours stranded is a long time

Kind of disappointed in the whole process. Initially ordered a high end more expensive battery & supposed to be installed the same day at my home. When no one came during the 2 hr apointment window so I called & was told by the tech he had a different battery than what I ordered. They were supposed come back between 10A-2P the next day but again didn't show. Then told that the tech had to go pick up the correct battery. Then told on the way to me he had a flat tire & couldn't come. They sent another tech to pick the battery up from him & he arrived at 5P. The tech was pretty good, I realistically did not expect a master mechanic but he could have been more experience in battery replacement since his main busines was locksmithing. Probaly would not use this service agAin.
