“Went through the website on Sunday for an appointment. They called me and said they would be here between 9:00 and 11:00 on Monday. At 18:45, I went back to their website and started a "chat." They told me they were behind due to the weather, and they would be here at 9:00 Tuesday. They called me around 16:00 Tuesday and said they would be here at 9:00 on Wednesday. At 18:00 Wednesday, I canceled the order. A few hours late due to weather I can understand, but there's no excuse for being more than two days late. Poor communication, poor planning, poor management. Do not use.”

“Ordered a new battery with home install in Arlington VA for my Mercedes ML350 on a Thursday to be installed on Saturday. Technician showed up at 10 and by 1pm he still was unable to get the old battery out. He was asking my teenage son for help. He then leaves the car without a battery hooked up, car was running prior to the technician showing up, battery area tore up and car no longer able to run. I had been in touch with customer service during the visit who assured me that they would have another technician out the following day. The following morning I called at opening and they are very sorry but they don't have a technician in my area until Monday. Unacceptable to leave me with a car that no longer works thanks to a technician that had no idea what he was doing. I cancelled the order and got another company out that day to fix their mess. DO NOT CHOOSE 1-800 Battery.”

“We so much appreciated this service when my battery died. Our technician Kevin Hargrove, was very courteous , efficient and professional. He arrived when expected and diligently got to work. The communication was pretty good and we especially are grateful for the visit when it was snowing and very cold. Thank you, and our thanks to Kevin, for a job well done😊💫”

“Great concept to come and handle battery replacements by visiting the vehicle. Because some problems with a bad battery relate to voltage regulator or perhaps other issues which I don't know, it would seem simple enough for your to add this service of checking the alternator. Hope this is useful.”

“I loved this service. Quick and easy to find the battery I needed at a reasonable price. Having someone come to my house and install it was great! Young man who came was wonderful and a great representative of the company. Service in coming to my house was quick and I highly recommend.”

“The battery was delivered and installed in a timely fashion, but when I restarted my car the check engine light came on. It is not a reset issue either, but has remained on. Something was not done right.”

“My stepson's car's battery died and wouldn't take a charge. We needed a new battery. Luckily the car problem happened at home, so, we looked on line and read about 1-800Battery.com. I called the number, spoke to Joe, giving him the car info. He said he'd have the right battery for the car,scheduled a technician for later that day, between 8am and 10am. The tech was slightly delayed, but still arrived by 11:15am. The technician did exactly what was advertised and after about 20 minutes we weee able to drive the vehicle. The whole experience was super easy, and the service was great. Highly recommend 1-800-Battery.”

“I give it a 4.5 only because I got them on a very cold and busy day and the service was a little slow. Aside from that everything else was a 5. Therefore I gave them a 5 because I really believe that they tried to get to me as fast as they could. However this is not who I would call in an emergency.”

“Had my battery replaced in 2021, that died by July of 2023. A technician came out and replaced the battery and told me it would be covered under warranty. I was then changed full price for the battery, still fighting to get a refund. I decided to give the company a second chance while waiting for a refund which turned out to be a huge mistake! The technician showed up with the wrong battery (I put my vin number and license plate number on the site as they suggest to find the correct battery). The technician told me that he would still be able to put the battery in for the day and would be back tomorrow to replace with the correct one. They charged me again full price for the battery and the technician never came back today.”
