“This website is run by a bunch of crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You will never receive any customer service and they all misleading or misrepresentation of the ticket prices by listing in foreign currencies and adding a ridiculous admin fee onto any order. You can not cancel and no one will help you get any type of refund. BUYER BEWARE”
“Would give 0 if I could. Customer service refuses to refund after buyer never transferred ticket. They refuse to escalate, refuse to do anything helpful. It's a scam. Do not use EVER.”
“Stub hub does not truly offer to sell your tickets. They have a recommendation filter that is on when people come to their site. The user needs to shut off any tickets that they don’t own. This filters out all but their tickets. So it is total BS. I have contacted the FTC to discuss this. I am filing a complaint.”
“purchased tickets, sent me e mail to accept. got email to enjoy show. got to door tickets no good. standing there in the cold while everyone else we were with went in.
worst, worst company to deal with.”
“A TRUE SCAM!!!! Customer service will lie to you, tickets sold without full disclosure.
An absolute lousy experience - one that Citibank credit card services and lack of customer support only made worse.
Had used Stubhub for concert, playoff & super bowl tickets in the past.
WILL NEVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY AGAIN - A TRUE SCAM.........”
“Worst ticket experience ever
Bought tickets for an event four days prior
An hour before the event started I received an email from stub hub saying the seller could not provide the tickets and they would send a refund
Meanwhile I had flewn to Vegas for the event , bought special clothes , took a ride and was standing outside of event
And I had no tickets”
“I live in WNC that was hit my hurricane Helene on Sept 27th. A month before I purchased tickets to a game through Stubhub. The day before the game we got hit by the hurricane. There was no way in or out of Asheville and we had no phone or internet service for a week. Once I got service I called stubhub to see about a refund. Their policy is all sales are final and told me I should have called the day of the event. They are based overseas and had to Google to see I was telling the truth about the hurricane. They told me if I provided a letter from Verizon they would do a one time courtesy. So I did that but they still denied me a refund. I tried to dispute it with my credit card company because it’s an act of God and I didn’t receive this service. I couldn’t even access the tickets. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again based on how cold hearted and liars that they are.”
“Easily one of the worst ticket platforms I have ever used.
Bought Michigan vs Wisconsin tickets for my father’s birthday. Not only was the StubHub “application fees” $58 US PER ticket, the fee was more than the actual ticket. I was previewed with a great seat, the seats when we got there were absolutely horrible (know the arena more next time, the previews are not accurate at all - they show the best seat for the section you’re going into).
Finally, when they asked for a “recommendation rating” after the event, it would not let me press anything below a 6/10, like genuinely, I’m a 23 year old - I get technology, the moment I tried to give it a one star, the site would freeze and I would have to reload, I tried all of them up until the 6/10 and it finally accepted and provided a response”
What a JOKE of a company.
No wonder there are 23 states with class action lawsuits!”
“Why do we even wait to get the tickets? Just to be told on the same day. Some people have to take off work to attend events. They literally sent an email only a few hours before. We made the purchase more than a month ago. Absolutely terrible and there should have been more transparency that this was a gamble.”
“Terrible Experience – Avoid!
I purchased tickets expecting to receive exactly what I ordered, but I was sent the wrong tickets. This was not just a small mix-up—it was completely different from what I paid for. When I reached out to customer service, I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. They made no effort to resolve the issue, leaving me frustrated and without the tickets I wanted. This kind of service is unacceptable. I won’t be using this company again, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for better service and reliability.”
“I purchase a ticket back in the summer for a concert scheduled for Dec 3rd. I was NOT sent tickets right away. It was 3 months later! By then I had already received a comp’d ticket from the venue once I told them what happened, which they were nice enough to do. I did dispute the charges back in the summer with my bank who initially gave me back my money only to turn around months later and yank the money back out of my account. They cited that according to Stubhub rules they did nothing wrong! I finally got ahold of their customer service and they told me the only way to receive a refund was to sell the tickets on their website which I did post but they didn’t sell! So I’m out of $75 (which they tacked on additional fees)! Do NOT use this company!”
“Stubhub was being discussed on the local radio in Charleston , SC the day before the concert stating that people have been sent the wrong seats for concerts, then I realized they sent me the wrong tickets and would not correct or refund money! The seats were the nose bleed highest row and I purchased my seats 2 months ahead of time after carefully choosing seats that my personal handicap would allow me to get to safely and without bothering anyone else. Ticketmaster said I could try reselling the incorrect seats via their site. Stubhub offered nothing!!!
I am so disappointed I won’t get to experience the concert for CeCe Winans in Savannah, GA December 12, 2024!”
“I am beyond disappointed with my experience using StubHub for tickets to the Usher concert last night. I purchased tickets in good faith for myself and two friends, only to arrive at the venue and discover that the tickets were INVALID.
We were stopped at the door, and instead of enjoying the show, we spent over 30 minutes waiting outside, trying to resolve the issue. It was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
StubHub claims to be a reliable platform, but this experience proved otherwise. How does a company that prides itself on offering a "FanProtect Guarantee" allow this to happen? My friends and I missed part of the concert, and the entire night was tainted by this unnecessary inconvenience.
I expect more from a platform of this size and reputation. If you can’t guarantee valid tickets, what exactly are we paying for? This was not just a minor hiccup; it was a major failure in customer service and trust.
Do better, StubHub. Fans deserve better.”
“I’d give a zero if I could! I purchased tickets for the Taylor Swift concert and the seller never released the tickets. The tickets offered to me as a replacement from StubHub were the listen only tickets right behind the stage with no view of the stage at all. I had clear stage view tickets. They claim a guarantee of replacement tickets equal to better than the tickets you had. They Absolutely did not honour that. I will be sending a complaint to the BBB.”
“If I could give zero stars I would've! Absolutely garbage company!! I bought tickets over a month out from the concert. They were $200 and then about $90 in fees. They were advertised as "great seats". I received the tickets the day of the show and they're way off to the side in the second row from the very BACK of the venue!!!! TERRIBLE SEATS!!! I did the virtual chat and called. They won't do anything at all to help! It's false advertising at its best!! Don't ever buy tickets from stubhub!!!!”
