“I purchased a parking pass for a football game that I couldn't even use. The pass was invalid and it was suppose to be for parking in a garage. It was actually a parking lot with no attendant to verify purchase. I ended up having to pay again to park. Stubhub refuses to refund my money. What a rip off!”
“I purchased 2 tickets for $359 to a sold out concert three weeks before the event. I received my tickets the day of the concert(Friday). Once we got to the concert, the tickets were invalid and said they were for the next day(Saturday). The email confirmation and even the email the day of the event said the tickets were for Friday, but the tickets that were downloaded said they were for Saturday.
On Saturday, our tickets were still invalid and we were told there were two other couples that purchased those tickets/seats through Stub Hub and a third couple who purchased their tickets through the venue. The couple who purchased their tickets through the venue got the seats. We went to the ticketing counter of the venue and since we purchased through Stub Hub, there was nothing they could do, except they had 2 tickets for sale for $300 each. We declined since we already paid $359 on Stub Hub.
I’m giving Stub Hub 1 star only because they refunded my money back. Not only was our time wasted both nights, but we were out $20 for parking on Friday night and $40 for an Uber on Saturday night. Not only did we get scammed on our tickets, but two other couples were sold the same seats and they didn’t get to see the concert either. This was my first time purchasing tickets from Stub Hub and will be my last time ordering tickets from this site.”
“Stubhub did not deliver concert tickets on time and is now refusing to refund the ticket price! Their argumentation is that they had sent the ticket before - however the tickets never arrived and were retourned to the sender. When they sent the tickets again (after us calling them repeadetly) they arrived too late and after the Hans Zimmer concert. Really terrible customer service and >400$ loss. NEVER AGAIN!”
“Stub hub is very rude. They didn’t provide the VIP package that they said they will provide. I called them to get a refund the guy said we can’t do anything and hung up the phone. I would highly recommend not buying anything from this company.”
“Stubhub is a rip-off.
They billed me $400 because I couldn't transfer tickets that they never sent me!
I'm disputing the credit card charge.
This company is ran by thieves and liars.”
“I will never buy from StubHub again.
They do not actually honor their "Fan Protect" policy that states if you do not receive your ticket by the time of the show, they will issue a refund.
I did not receive my tickets until 9:15pm the night of the show that started at 8pm. I was trying to get assistance via the app and website up until the show started and then forfeited and bought a ticket at the venue. When I tried calling this morning about getting a refund, they said because I was making a claim "after the time of event" that they could not honor the refund. That I "should have called sooner."
This "Fan Protect" policy is not transparent and frankly felt like a scam.”
“They did not make the ticket that I purchased months ago available and are now only making inferior and less expensive replacements available. Prices have gone up and I will be out over $400 to buy an equivalent floor ticket. Don’t use Stubhub”
“I spoke with a representative and he said my sale went through. Which I bought for $753 and had to sell it for $413. However 1 hour after hanging up I receive an email that my sale was cancelled. Avoid this company. Do yourself a favor and go to the shows website.”
“Never. Ever. Using. Stub. Again. Worst customer service. You would think it's straight forward as a ticket seller but I received less than I listed the tickets for and was told if i didn't fulfill the tickets I would be responsible for 100% of the cost. It was a NIGHTMARE trying to explain this to customer service. Website clearly tells you if you list tickets at $200 you get $180 if tickets are sold, I got 160. How is it possible that I got shorted $20. Unbelievable & extremely frustrating. It's also a nightmare being a buyer too. BEWARE, READ THE REVIEWS.”
“They claimed they purchased tickets from Ticketmaster. They said they couldn’t get my purchased tickets to concert and could give me other seats maybe..? It was a scam company. They say now they will refund.
I called my credit card B of A.
Never again will I use Stubhub. Scam company.”
“Lied about my Hamilton Hershey Theater seats. Seats were guaranteed to be in “this location,” the first six rows of orchestra left were highlighted. When I received the tickets, a week before the show, they were the second to last row of the orchestra section, Row 29, and the furthest left by the outside wall. The tickets were $259.00 each with handling fees added in. Total ticket price was over $300.00. Show was amazingly but I’ll stick to SeatGeek which shows you the exact seats you are purchasing.”
“Very poor customer service focused on denying refunds rather than understanding. I bought a parking tickets for a united center bulls game, the tickets never came with a QR code and I was not able to use them, and had to buy a new one on site. When I contacted customer service for a refund they were helpless”
“Everytime I tried to download the tickets I received the message "tickets declined"
Stubhub blamed this on PayPal, the bank, anybody but themselves. There never were any tickets. I was robbed.”
“The tickets were way overpriced…. I checked out the tickets at the venue where the concert was held and they were half the price and much easier to get!!!”
“ELO cancelled last minute in Phoenix due to a band member being sick.
We could not get a refund for the tickets as we had a trip planned for the new date. Because the tickets were bought by someone on Ticketmaster they could have got the $800 refund. We could not!!
Stub Hub is a scam!”
“Absolutely terrible customer service and PREDATORY fees! I sold tickets for $1556 (4 of them) and only received $942. THATS 40% !!!!!! Very deceptive which is why Canada has banned that practice and they have been sued. Not only that, they posted my tickets twice and sold them to two different people. How is that even possible? They were VERY specific tickets however it’s almost like they don’t want you fulfill orders so they get to charge you additional. I wonder if their CEO is Bernie Madoff!
Avoid at all costs!!! Ticketmaster isn’t great however they are only 10-15%!! Never again”
“They cancelled the concert and rescheduled it for a week before Christmas!! The tickets were super expensive and I’m pregnant and can’t travel because I’ll be too big! They refuse to give me a refund. I will never buy from this company again, that’s for sure.”
“They had a duplicate $90+ dollar parking ticket that I did NOT ORDER on my order with a separate order number. Three hours, emails, and calls and still not resolved. Customers should not be treated like I was today.”
