StubHub offered me cheaper tickets in the centrefield bleachers or a refund. (Or voucher for a purchase at a later date) Since this was a cross-border game, I take a loss on the exchange rate for the refund. Otherwise StubHub rips me off by substituting cheaper tickets than what I paid for. Either way, a BAD customer service experience with no effort to recover my loss. I know StubHub is big but they need to do better.”

their "guaranteed" policy is: you'll be notified 3 hrs before the show.
it is not reasonable to have 3 hrs notice before a show, to arrange travel, lodging, childcare, etc.
multiple emails and calls to customer service (emails came fro ViaGoGo), and they all repeat the same script.
i asked for a refund they said, they have a guarantee and i would get my money back or equivalent tickets. i told the rep, on Ticketmaster the ticket was going for 3x what i paid for. no way i'd get my seats/tickets when the value had gone up 3x
i never got any communication 3hrs before the show
i had to get my money back by disputing the charge with my credit card
so pro-tip, #1 don't use StubHub, ViaGoGo. #2, use a credit card that has strong dispute and refund services”

I tried to buy tickets in Liverpool for a game at Anfield. Dream seats for a once in a lifetime trip. The seller immediately pulled the “Bait and Switch” scam. He tried to move me to various lesser quality locations around the stadium. Eventually I had to quit messaging with the scammer and go back to StubHub themselves. For what it’s worth, StubHub attempted to resolve the situation but the seller clearly never had the product he had listed. I suspect this is a scam he uses frequently to scam international travelers. I used LiveTickets and had my tickets in 4h. No hassle. Saved a once in a lifetime trip. DO NOT USE THEM.”
“Bought a parking pass that was supposed to be for the lot connected to the venue. Instead, the seller sent me a pass for a lot over a quarter mile away. StubHub obviously doesn't verify the details of resell items on their website. When I called to complain (which took over 35 minutes), they only offered me a measly 25% credit for a future purchase. I won't but from StubHub again since they can't be trusted.”

“Extremely disappointed in our first experience using stubhub. My sisters and I bought tickets for Hamilton as a Christmas gift for my mom. We all had to take the night off work, bought the tickets over a month in advance (yes we were fully charged for the tickets) and made the hour and a half drive to the venue. We were told the tickets would be in our account by 4pm, 4pm comes around and they have not arrived so we reached out to customer service. We were told the seller has not yet fulfilled our tickets, they offered either replacement tickets or a full refund. We were already by the venue so requested replacement tickets, we were told they could take up to an hour, unfortunate since the show started in an hour and a half but we were hopeful. 30 minutes before the show started we were notified that there were no replacement tickets and they could not honor our tickets. The worst part is we heard no updates from Stubhub beforehand, we had to reach out for an update and were then told our tickets were no longer valid. Was the plan to not say anything? What was supposed to be such a special night out celebrating Christmas with our mom after a rather hard year turned into a very frustrating experience due to lack of communication and accountability. We spent a lot of money on those tickets and were so looking forward to the show but were left high and dry at the last minute with no acceptable explanation. Unfortunately learned our lesson the hard way but now know better than to ever use stubhub again in the future. Thank you for the upsetting night and for leaving four very excited guests crushed at the last minute.”

I recently used StubHub to buy tickets, and it was a nightmare. The website was confusing, and the service fees were outrageous—almost doubling the ticket price.
When my tickets finally arrived, they were late, leaving me stressed just before the event. Customer service was unhelpful; after an hour on hold, I spoke to someone who couldn't assist me. To make matters worse, the tickets were for the wrong event, and I missed out entirely.
On top of all this, they have no refund policy, which makes them even worse. Overall, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I will never use this scam again. There are better options out there—save yourself the trouble!”

Heads up, the following ticket transfers have been canceled by the sender." email 34min prior to an event. Since this was only for a parking pass, I thought, Ill just pay for parking and reach out to customer service after.
They expect you to sit outside of the venue, in your car, while you reach out, (mind you, the contact us is not easy to get to on their website), and waste away your event, as you are supposed to try to figure out what happened. Because pulling over in front of a stadium is easy to do. Since I reached out after, there is nothing that you can do because you accepted the Terms and Conditions.
So a $60 parking pass, that they collect almost $20 on... so a refund or credit cost them less than $100 total for both parties, they refuse to budge. Screw this company.”
