I purchased concert tickets totaling over 1900.00, never received them, and stubhub is refusing to return my money. They are horrible

They charged my credit card $500., they called it a penalty for being unable to transfer tickets due to a third parties glitch. All of this took place within the first hour of the purchase, so the buyer was not inconvenienced. They confirmed it was not my fault, but charged me anyway. After 6 weeks, 20+ phone calls and countless emails, I gave up trying to get it back.

Never again. Bought tickets 6 months ago. Day before concert I didn’t receive. Call they reached out to the seller and said by the end of day I’ll have them. Next morning called StubHub. Said should have by 10am. Chatted after 10. Said within two hours. Well two hours past and after 3 chats that lost connection they said couldn’t get me ticket replacement because I bought 4 and they were only available in sets of 1,2 or 3. Really StubHub? This is the second time I’ve had problems. I’m done with StubHub. 4 flights, rental car and hotel. They move the goal post till the last minute where the only option is a refund. Never again

BUYER BEWARE: Most VIP tickets do NOT include the perks such as meet and greet, photo ops, etc. that would normally come with prime seats. There is no notification of this before you purchase.

I recently had a frustrating experience with the StubHub app that I'd like to share. I listed two tickets for sale on the platform, and what followed was a chain of events that left me quite displeased. First, I never received any notification that my tickets had been sold on the app. Instead, my listing was abruptly labeled as "cancelled" or "expired." This led me to believe that my tickets were still available for sale, so I relisted them. To my surprise, I later received an email notifying me that the tickets had indeed sold, and I promptly sent them to the buyer. However, the lack of communication from StubHub left me in the dark about the status of my initial listing. The real issue arose when StubHub placed 100% responsibility on me for the ticket sale on both listings. It's essential to note that I couldn't have fulfilled the second listing since I had only one pair of tickets available. StubHub's explanation for this situation was a glaring loophole in their system: they claimed they have no mechanisms in place to prevent duplicate ticket listings, citing the optional seat assignment as a primary reason. The glaring question that arises from this is: why would anyone purchase tickets without knowing the seat numbers? It's indeed perplexing that a ticket agency/exchange of StubHub's stature would allow such a situation to occur, where duplicate and fraudulent ticket sales become possible. My main grievance is that StubHub and their app lack the necessary safeguards to prevent this kind of activity or duplicate sales, ultimately holding sellers accountable for issues that are beyond their control. To make matters worse, they impose a 100% penalty on the full ticket listing price, which is both frustrating and unfair. In conclusion, my experience with the StubHub app highlighted serious deficiencies in their system and customer support, leading to a stressful and financially burdensome situation for sellers. It's high time for StubHub to address these issues and put measures in place to protect both buyers and sellers from such mishaps in the future.

Me and 2 of my friends purchased tickets for the beyonce concert in New Orleans on September the 27 for my birthday. Paid over 400$ in fees. We flew to New Orleans from St. Petersburg Florida. 15 minutes before the show starts I received a email advising our transactions was cancelled. We call stub hub over 20 times everyone we talked to was extremely rude, unprofessional, uneducated on how it works and they all provided different information even the supervisor Pamela employee Id number 2591114. Who no told me she the highest person I can speak with in regards to this. I was on the phone with her for over an hour and she did nothing to try and help us. She would not allow us to buy tickets over the phone or even try to help us locate a ticket. We reprocessed the order 4 more times on 4 different cards online and they were all cancelled. We couldn't even buy tickets from another vendor at this point because they were holding the money. No one was able to tell us why this was happening or try to help us find new tickets. this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company I’ve ever done business with. I am even more hurt that the company is getting away with type of behavior. I’ve taken time off work, paid for a flight, booked a hotel, rented a car all in vein because StubHub was selling tickets they never had, this ruined my 30th birthday and what put the icing on the cake was the costumer service I received, the I don’t care attitude and lack of empathy I got from this company is beyond disgusting and ridiculous. I was being hung up on, placed on hold and the representative would never come back to the call, the list goes on and on. Worst experience of my life. birthday I’ll never forget, ruined.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Their site says nothing about them being a middle man when I went to purchase tickets. They held my money and told us we would have to wait until day of concert just few hours before the concert which was 2 hrs away to see if we get tickets which they told us at last minute the guy was not releasing them. They lied said they would find us other tickets and give a link to cancel the transaction which they NEVER DID. They wasted my time gas and stress by the LOUSY service they give. Do NOT use them they are scammers! THEY SELL TICKETS THAT THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE AND HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY WILL EVER GET THEM TO US WHEN THEY SELL THEM BEWARE

Bruce Springsteen concert has been postponed twice. Stubhub refuses to refund as it's not canceled! Ridiculous policy. I can understand if the customer decides to back out that it's the customers issue. This is the band postponing until 2024. I paid for tickets in February of 2023. Stubhub will have had my money for a product not received. That is a rip off. On a hope that maybe next year the tickets will be used? BS and a horrible way to do business.

Terrible! I bought parking pass and ticket to ND/OSU game and the tickets were never transferred. Spent over 2 hours on the phone and all they will do is give me a refund. What about the travel to the game, lost time, etc? What a joke! Avoid this site.

Terrible Don’t ever ever use them They are scammers They will steal your money This is not credible company StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They “guarantee” your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their promises.

I ordered 3 ball tickets from stubhub. When we got to the ballpark and got to our seats apparently one seat was not legitimate. We had to walk a lot more than my husband was able too to get seats replaced at customer service. Stub hub refused to even return my money for one ticket for the inconvenience we had at the game. All they would offer is a 25 percent off future purchase! I will never purchase anything from them again.

For the first time ever, I bought my soccer tickets from them, $50 worth ticket for $450. I am ok with the price. However, after waiting 2 months just couple of weeks before the event, they sent me email that my the tickets are not available anymore! Meanwhile they confirmed my order etc. etc. and not to mention had my money, couple of thousands in total for two months and I had to pay the credit card interest along the way! I called customer service they kept repeating the same garbage over and over... blaming the ticket seller/event organizer. NO apologies whatsoever! This is in United States of America, not any third world country, well unless we intend to head towards that direction! There are so many issues with airliners, ticket sellers... the list goes on and on but our leaders do not want to do anything about these crooks. They are too busy winning elections!

Im a verified and more than a decade old customer. In the recent years, Stubhub and Ticketmaster have formed a nexus along with the event organizers to rob ticket buyers off their money.They think customers are too dumb to catch on to their sneaky and sleezy business tactics.They hide it uummm....under a price gauging cover blow. Bought tickets to the current Metallica NJ shows and cant make it. They refuse a refund. Tickets are from ticket master.kept dodging my call by tossing it to each other. Stubhub agent gave me a run around for an hour when I requested a refund. Excuse after another and another lame excuse just to grab on to the amount I paid. Lost thousands!!!!

I had concert tickets that I listed. The day of the concert my listing disappeared. I thought they were sold. Never received any email confirming the sale. When I checked my listing it showed as deactivated. I tried to reactivate it but couldn’t. Tried to repost the tickets and was told they were already listed. I originally purchased the tickets through Stubhub and the concert was cancelled and rescheduled to a date I couldn’t attend. I lost over $650.00 dollars due to the rescheduling and not being able to sell my tickets when my tickets were the lowest price available at the time. No way to contact customer support. Will never use Stubhub again.

I wish I could give this a negative 100%. What a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE company and worst experience of my life with them. I will NEVER purchase from them again. I bought concert tickets for $900 back in 2019 for a concert that didn’t happen until this August due to the Rona Called them asking if I could switch venues as we don’t live in the same state any longer where the concert was and they said no. I had been calling them for a year regarding this and in the last month the tickets had sold but I was not notified on my stubhub account. Therefore, they tried to charge me again for the tickets because I didn’t sell them to the individuals that wanted them. Thank goodness for American Express because they fought them on the last charge. What crooks they are. Horrible experience

SELLERS & BUYERS BEWARE Stub Hub sold my parking passes 3 days prior to this notice.. Past procedure they provided an UPS label and I would take the item to UPS drop off, it worked well, never a problem! Now they want the buyers to print out passes which is not accepted at Hard Rock Stadium and buyer would be denied access to venue, per my Hard Rock Stadium account rep. I told them this on the very day the passes sold and now they are charging me $49.00 cancellation fee. This is more than me being charged for their failing to deliver an original acceptable parking pass, its also for an unsuspecting football fan that would be denied entry to the stadium on game day. They do not care about their customers.
