“The usual good service was not apparent the year. No renewal email or letter so I had to chase it up; failed to ring me back in the timescale given to me; was not able to offer any attractive alternatives. However.....I still renewed with existing provider so not all bad!”

“I was not Gvwm sufficient time before the renewal date to properly seek alternative quotes, when I did get other quotes then these were compared and a better rate obtained with the current Insurer. This should have been done in the beginning ! I accepted this by email and received a reply almost immediately only later to be told that the email had never been received ! Amazing how a reply can be sent to an email that was never received . Not the best experience”

“We have been with Active Quote for three years now. This year they have negotiated our renewal premium down from a 24% increase to a 6% increase with identical terms and the same provider. We always speak to a friendly, understanding person and never have to tick online boxes! It is truly a pleasure each year. Long may it continue.”

“Sent several Emails to revise my renewal payments ,with no response. I finally managed to make contact by telephone and was referred to Kim Powell , who was very efficient and sorted out alternative quotes immediately . I was very pleased with the result and would like to thank her for her help.”

“Sian understood the issues and tried her very best to find alternative providers at reasonable prices but concluded that with a fixed price for the next 5 years from my current provider I would be better off remaining with them. This despite the fact that the commission on a new provider would be more lucrative than advising me to stay with my current provider. I thank her for her honesty and the help she gave me looking for alternative providers.”

“Very impressed with the quotes received - they were the best in market versus anything I had been able to find myself. David who dealt with my case was very good and thorough. The only difficulty I had was that on a couple of occasions we had pre-agreed a date and time to speak on the phone but never received the calls at those agreed times. I understand there were reasons for this but perhaps someone else could have picked up in David's absence.”

“We originally arranged our health insurance through Active Quote and secured a good provider at a competitive price. Over recent years we noticed that this provider was putting up their prices quite a lot and took Active Quote up on their offer to review our coverage and see if there were other insurers who would provide the same level of cover and at a cheaper price. After a great deal of work on their part, they secured a new health insurance provider that was approximately £35.00 month less expensive and provided the same level of cover. Couldn't be happier with their service and they way they kept us informed and presented the various options available. We asked a lot of questions about the quote, especially about the hospitals the included and if it included cancer cover and they were always able to answer our queries in good detail. I would recommend this service to anyone, Active Quote have gained our trust and we will continue to have them review and source our health insurance provider.”

“Very efficient when it comes to closing a sale, but extremely slack once the deal was done and administrative follow-up is required. Despite repeat emails and phone calls, I have still not received a proper response from the client rep on the status of my request. To make matters more complicated, I now have to go through them each time I need a change of details as the insurer will not entertain changes since the policy was purchased through ActiveQuote. On hindsight, I should've bought the policy directly from the insurer and save myself the hassle and time.”
