I apologise it's taken so long for this review. I dealt with Amy Rook who sourced two types of insurance with myself and she was a pleasure to deal with and very patient and informative. Thank you Amy, great service.

Overall 3 stars. My policy renewal date is in early January and I was contacted too close to the renewal date to allow for a proper review of my policy needs. A letter from my insurers dated 16th Nov was forwarded to me on 23rd Dec and arrived on 3rd Jan leaving only 4 working days before my renewal date. I was contacted by phone between Christmas and New Year by Abbey who was friendly and helpful but the whole process was too rushed. Allowance should be made for public holidays in future.

Happy with a good, efficient service with helpful staff. My premiums have reduced from last year and following the suggestion from my advisor I have switched to 2 policies for my family and I - I appreciated this advice. I had one or 2 issues with regard to a payment taken in error by my previous insurer as well as an incorrect start date and payment schedule on my new policy, but (despite it being Christmas) these issues were resolved quickly thanks to very prompt replies to my queries. Overall very happy.

Service was fine. What could have been even better is rather than just call me with the new (higher) price for the insurance renewal would have been to get 2-3 competitive quotes for the same level of cover and then present me the renewal option against alternatives, ideally with some comparative pros/cons. This pro-activity would have been excellent service In this case I had to ask for alternatives, even though I renewed anyway.

The lady who dealt with my enquiry was Angharad Cox. She couldn't have been more helpful. She dealt with all my questions patiently and comprehensively. Her manner was very professional and she certainly knew her stuff! She worked very hard to get me a policy which was the best for me individually and the best value. She ways returned my phone calls and rang back exactly when she said she would. She dealt with my enquiry and it was an excellent service.

I was very happy with the service provided by Active quote and everything was explained in precise detail as to my chosen level of cover. The quotation that Activequote were able to obtain for me which, having searched the market myself, no doubt exceeded my expectations . Very pleased indeed. Thank you

Took over five weeks to complete medical evidence underwriter required. Still receiving correspondence from LV wherein the author understands I have yet to complete medical!
