It’s important to note that each compensation claim is evaluated separately by the airline. This means that even passengers on the same flight or booking may receive different outcomes or timelines. While it may seem unfair, airlines often handle claims inconsistently as a strategy to limit the number of compensations they pay out. In many cases, including yours, airlines justify the delay or cancellation by referring to extraordinary circumstances. When this happens, it becomes impossible to obtain the necessary evidence directly from the airline or airport without initiating legal action. For this reason, we filed a lawsuit to challenge the airline’s decision and to continue fighting for your rights. Unfortunately, legal proceedings can take significantly longer than standard claims, which contributed to the extended timeline.
