Air Advisor failed to understand the claim. They have only sent me reimbursement for 1 of 2 tickets for the original cost of a ticket. This was never what I was asking for. In addition to about $600 each on the original tickets, when our flight home was canceled, we purchased 2 tickets for about $2000 each to return home that day, which Iberia has stated they would reimburse us for. We wanted reimbursement for the approximate $4000 in tickets that we were refused check in and boarding for. Under $600 doesn't quite cut it.

These different elements are assessed and processed independently by the airline. The compensation amount itself is fixed by law and depends on the flight distance and circumstances of the disruption. These sums are exact amounts established directly by the regulation and are not determined by AirAdvisor. According to the information available in your case, the airline processed the refund of the original ticket directly to the original payment method rather than through a third-party representative. This means that certain payments may have been issued directly by Iberia to the passenger rather than through AirAdvisor. We understand that your primary concern relates to the replacement tickets purchased after the denied boarding situation, which reportedly cost approximately $4000 in total. However, reimbursement for replacement transportation expenses is usually reviewed separately by the airline and may require additional assessment, supporting documentation, or direct processing by the carrier. We regret that the overall outcome and communication did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we would like to emphasize that the different categories of payments involved in disrupted flight cases are often handled separately by airlines, which can unfortunately create confusion regarding the total amounts expected and received. Nous savons à quel point cela peut être stressant et décourageant lorsque la procédure prend beaucoup plus de temps que prévu. Malheureusement, certaines compagnies aériennes retardent considérablement le traitement des réclamations des passagers ou ne fournissent pas de réponse dans les délais légaux. Vi fick hjälp av AirAdvisor efter en försenad flygresa. Hemresan var försenad med 12 timmar och enligt Ving skulle vi inte få någon ersättning. Vi vände oss då hit och fick ersättning till en helt okej summa! Vi är så nöjda, inte bara för pengarna utan också för att vi fått rätt mot flygbolaget!
