Good experience with the Aircoach level of service however the frequency and schedule is very limited for line 702 since Covid, starting 6am finishing at 8pm, every 2h. Many flights take off early morning and land late evening so this is not a sufficient service and the only option if you do not have a car is to take a taxi to Bray/Greystones. Is there a plan to return to Aircoah frequency every hour for 24h?

With their proud “About Aircoach” blurb I was expecting a good service. I mean how bad can a simple bus ride be? They were atrocious. We are international tourists and were catching the bus from Dublin’s T2 airport terminal. From the beginning it was ordinary (but read on it gets really bad). There was some sort of rope that indicated a queuing system and people gathering were trying to get in a kind of line. Then the bus arrived but the rope was just to give passengers getting off some space, after which our boarding “queue” broke into chaos. The bus driver was snappy and uninterested. Does this happen every single time a bus pulls up to pick up passengers many of whom are travelling on this bus for the first time? Once in the bus I was surprised to find that the seats were cramped and upholstery dilapidated. I wouldn’t have cared about that except that they’ve made out that they operate “modern coaches”. There was no PA system so any announcements of stops that the bus driver might have made could not be heard. We caught Aircoach again for the trip back from Dublin City to the airport. You have to put your own bags in the underneath luggage hold as the bus driver doesn’t do it. That’s fine - I can understand that the bus driver can’t be expected to man handle heavy bags all day, but there was one elderly lady who was really in need of some help as she was on her own. The bus driver refused to help her and then loudly and at length berated her for travelling with a case she couldn’t manage on her own (it was a modest size really). It was really rude, really embarrassing and I was about to step in and help her and I regret I didn’t. He then picked up her case and threw it on top of others in the luggage hold and it tumbled in. The elderly lady, who looked like a gentle soul, was nearly in tears at this point. People waiting to get on the bus didn’t know if they could just get on or if they had to wait to show their ticket because we’d been given no instructions by the cranky bus driver. The last issue was that it was hot in the bus and there was no air conditioning. Oh and of course no audible announcements again. An extremely unprofessional service.

I travelled two times from Belfast to Dublin and although the bus was supposed to have wifi and chargers, the wifi connection could not be established (it was connected without internet all the time) and the chargers were not functional. Moreover on the return trip from Dublin to Belfast the driver rejected boarding until I throw my coffee away (I was allowed to bring coffee on the trip from Belfast to Dublin). As a reference, #21 of the AirCoach rules states that water/coffee could be bring on-board if they have a secure cap. When I showed that to the driver he rudely said that I should get out of the bus until I throw my coffee away. Do not travel with AirCoach if you plan to work during your trip, especially not on a working day if you do not have a day off; or if you plan to drink/eat something on a 2.5h trip.

Not sure about the service itself but the fact that they don't have a map of their routes on their website makes the service unusable for me; I have no idea whether or not any of the routes will serve my needs. This is pretty basic stuff. If they can't get this right it wouldn't inspire confidence in the rest of their services.

Ticket seller at Dublin Airport treated Free Traver Permit Holder as second class citizen. Also witnessed him being confrontational with other customers. Gives bad impression to those arriving into Ireland. Ticket seller refused to give his name or employee number so that I could report his behaviour to AirCoach. Cannot understand how AirCoach claim 4.2 star rating when they are receiving so many low ratings.

I took the bus from Dublin to Belfast... I give two starts for the following reasons: There's no toilet. I was bursting the whole way, and it was damn uncomfortable. There was no table on the seats, so what if I wanted to use my laptop or read a book? It just wasn't comfortable. The wifi was constantly going off and on, and that was annoying, especially since I couldn't rely on my phone the whole time. Sorry, but the fact you go so far and don't have a toilet really peeved me off.

We need toilets on the aircoach to Belfast. Over 2.5 hours on a bus with no toilet is not acceptable.

Got to stop outside T1 at 7pm and asked when next coach to Sandyford would leave. Was told there should have been one at 7.25 but the coach had broken down and there now wouldn't be another till 7.55pm. After exploring our options my sister (who was outside T2)and I decided to wait till 7.55. Of course by 7.55 there was a big queue for this coach but I managed to get on at T1. Just before T2 stop the driver pulled in and counted the remaining seats. Then he sat down, drove off and skipped the T2 stop altogether. There were 13 seats free on the coach, I counted because my sister was stranded outside T2 along with a lot of very bewildered tourists. When they asked when the next coach would be they were told 'it runs every 15 minutes' by an Aircoach worker. He was either lying or didn't know what he was talking about because what I was told at T1 clearly indicated a half hourly service. Aircoach used to be a good service but looking at all the different routes within Dublin and to the likes of Belfast and Derry it's becoming increasingly obvious that you've overreached yourselves and your resources are spread too thinly. No announcements from the driver either apart from solo yell of 'city centre' at D'Olier st. Hope most of the passengers were locals!

You WERE A wonderful service ! What’s gone wrong ??? Rude staff ; chaotic management ! Times changes on bus routes and buses are worn and dirty ! Now only going every two hours to Dun Laoighaire ! Very sad to have git so bad ! You won awards originally ! Now expensive to buy ticket !!! What’s happened ??? Get rid of rude staff ! And bad drivers !!

Hi please please reestablish the Dalkey hourly timetable !!! We will happily pay more but I have just arrived at airport and I have to wait till 7pm. !! So I am going to go to Les pods town and pay €30 in a taxi ! The aer coach was wonderful !!! What’s going on ??? I will happily pay on aer coach more to get to Dalkey !!! Bring back the hourly service !!!

We booked tickets in advance.We were more than 45 minutes waiting for the bus in O’Conell Street Upper. Due to the fact of this tine waiting we had to get a aci in order to get on time to the airport. Awful service
