“This morning (Sunday 6th August), the air coach from Dublin Airport to Derry City (@5.45am), refused to stop at the scheduled Pick-up/Drop off at the 'timetabled designated Stop' at Drumahoe. This was a real inconvenience to my son (travelling). The reason provided by the coach driver was "they spent too much time waiting for pickups at Belfast International". Three issues with this situation. Why should any person need to ask for a driver to make a scheduled stop; Secondly, why should this request be refused because the driver is inconvenienced? and Thirdly, are there any other stops on the journey that are entirely optional at the driver's discretion?”

“Generally I think the Aircoach service is great however I just can’t understand why the service to Greystones only runs every 2hrs. Prior to the Covid Pandemic it was hourly & when I inquire at the desk in the Airport I’m told it’s due to lack of passengers. Is it possible that the lack of passengers is due to the lack of service??? No one wants to wait around for 2 hrs after arriving off a flight. Also the 702 route to Greystones has changed & now does a trip all over the city sometimes making the journey from the Airport close to 2 hrs depending on traffic. Thank you for what is (apart from the above issue) an excellent service.”

“The bus was fully booked so it was quite a scramble for seats. No internet available. But the bus was on time and I thought the driver did a good job, so that's what's important. Would book again.”

“The bus was comfortable and tickets were easy to get online. One glitch however was that we ended up waiting an additional hour at the airport because the driver was supposed to transfer us to another bus, but instead he didn't and went off shift. We waited quite awhile for a new bus driver to continue the route.”

“I think the boarding of the coach is horrendous. There is no proper boarding system in Cork or system of placing the luggage in the luggage compartment. An aircoach person should manage that and there should be a ticket for placing liable in the compartment that when you get to the destination it is checked that you took the right bag. You need to apply rules where people line up similar to at airports and then there should be assigned seating if you travel more than one person. It’s like stuffing cattle on a truck- awful. Not impressed. It wasn’t great years ago but it’s worse now. But I presume aircoach is relaxed about it as there aren’t other options (yes there is one other company but often other times).”

“Very good service but buses too infrequent, every 2 hours is meaning we generally arrive far too early at the airport or barely in time. Please resume hourly buses.”

“Be aware what’s looks like a direct bus to Belfast from the city centre is not infact a direct bus and you must change in Dublin Airport after visiting both terminals - there is also no Wi-Fi on board”
