“purchased a wardrobe it got damaged in transport on the way didn’t receive it, I then rang aldi 3 times and got told numerous different things what would happen next I rang up again a few days later and asked can I order a new one instead of being refunded, 3 weeks later I still have no wardrobe. I have cancelled the order and told I have to wait 2 weeks for money back. I will never order again from aldi”
“Overall, I have always been happy with aldi, both the quality of product and the customer service (sometimes a long wait at the checkout, but that I can live with...a moment of quiet contemplation)
However, I bought a vegan rainbow pie on impulse. My son is vegan by necessity, myself by choice.
Oh dear....what a horror this was, soggy pastry, tasteless filling.
Specially Selected.to ruin my day.
I am not one to complain, but this was truly horrible eating experience.
Sadly they used to sell a Chipotle pie that was lovely, disappeared just before Easter.

Ok only £6 wasted over 4 shops but informed Aldi complaints twice on quality of products and no acknowledgement- that department is poorly managed so things can only get worse.
Obviously my Aldi shopping list is getting smaller as veg is suspect and flowers unlikely to last.

“there a notice in every shopping car park saying we can stay for 90 min for free but when me and the wife went shopping in Billingham shopping we stayed for 56 min only but had letter sent to us from ParkingEye parking charge amount £70 .00 pay this parking charge is discounted to £40.00 if paid within 14 days so we wont be shopping at Aldi anymore”

Dont trust the online ordering of special buy products. After joining online virtual Q at 5am in April and securing a corner suite, the courier XDP lost it.... Aldi waited almost a month before investigating. I requested they send same suite from new stock advertised due in May. But they have refused. Totally against my wishes they have refunded even though they are hyping the product as back in stock soon (23 May.. ) I now have matching stools and cushion covers but no suite. Apalling customer service, including from the CEO who offered a goodwill gesture of £40. They totally miss the point. It's not discount that is required it is the suite purchased on line but which Aldi's chosen courier lost in transit. I think a change of courier is required as there are other reviews with similar experience.
Also worrying is lack of environmental issues. The courier took 6 journeys to deliver 5 of my 6 items. They used old diesel vans and couldnt open the rear door for one parcel so had to make a 2nd journey. There seemed to have been no attempt to minimuse journeys by combining my order even though all the products were from the same furniture range. Huge carbon footprint for my order of Aldis rattan garden furniture (and still I have no corner suite).”
“Bought some Aldi wild garlic and Jersey butter chicken kievs. They were fantastic. Much better than M&S or Waitrose ones which were far more expensive. I regularly shop in Aldi. They have some excellent quality products so.much cheaper than other supermarkets. Have to get Brand items in other stores but for the items I do buy in Aldi I couldn't recommend highly enough. Staff are always really friendly and offer speedy service.”
“I didn’t enjoy your Specially Selected range of pork and leek sausages. They were rubbery and the skin was tough.
Also two of your frozen desserts were of a poor standard: the apple crumble was filled with runny pulp which didn’t resemble apples just sticky goo. Also your frozen fruit and custard apple strudel hardly had any filling and the pastry was crusty on the bottom. Not enjoyable at all!”
“Aldi- XDP delivery never arrived. No notifications after initial email saying it was collected. Unable to contact them. No replies. No explanation.
Not helpful, won’t order from Aldi online again. Might be great products and prices but no good if you don’t deliver or tell me!”
“Tried to return an Aldi special buy as it was faulty. I did not have the receipt but I could prove by a credit card statement I had shopped in store. Manager very condescending and I felt so demined I left with the faulty item. He wanted me to prove what time I had been in store. Also there is no customer services so you have to sort at the till holding others customers up and this is embarrassing. My dignity worth more than the £15. Can only advise other customers that taking something back that's faulty can be very uncomfortable and you are made to feel in the wrong.”
“Aldi has some very nice and reasonably priced seasonal items. I go on Sunday morning when the store opens to purchase what I like because those items go quickly. I think it is very unfair that there is not a limit on those items. I went for the outdoor welcome signs on April 25 when the store opened. There was a crowd rushing to get in. The isle was crowded and there were people purchasing up to 6 of them. I believe there should be a limit on these items just like certain food items because since there is a limited supply of these items also. It seems a fairer way for all your customers. I did make a purchase, but in a fair way for all those wanting to purchase theirs.”
“Bought cordless circular saw, battery and charger on 31st Oct 2020. Used four times and saw lifeless along with a battery that will not charge. 15 days later of emails, CS wait time of 30+ minutes photo of receipt and more emails quoting they would give it 3 days when contacting the manufacturer......
Do not buy these from Aldi. It is a massive procedure hoping you cannot be bothered. In fact they gamble on their bloated procedure wearing folk down. No CS in store or helpful contact. Avoid like the plague.”
“I bought a product from Aldi which was found to be defective. Reporting the problem to Aldi & requesting a replacement has led to a catalogue of incompetence, inefficiency & poor service. I spent over 90 minutes waiting for my call to be answered, I was told my replacement request would be dealt with urgently- IT WASN'T. Aldi completely ignored my request for a replacement product & started processing a refund instead. A number of complaint emails are still yet to be answered. The UK arm of Aldi certainly isn't being run with German efficiency. If you buy from Aldi & something goes wrong (which it probably will with the poor quality of goods being supplied) don't expect Aldi to rush to your assistance.”

“Received my product which was quite large. There were four screws missing. Contacted Customer support for assistance. Totally rude and unhelpful. Only help I was given was to return the product. I even offered to purchase the screws if they could advise type, size etc. No information or support given only advice given was to send back product. Extremely disappointed”
“I ordered photos from Aldi Photos on the 23rd of March, it's now the the 11th of April, thats 19 days to get the photos and im still waiting. I got really annoyed as I wanted to send them in a birthday card myself, so ordered them from another website and got them to the door in two days for a similar price.
I only ordered 9 photos. The price was quite cheap but I would never use them again and would strongly advise others not to either. DO NOT USE ALDI PHOTOS THERE ARE MUCH BETTER EQUALLY PRICED ALTERNATIVES OUT THERE.
