Moved in with my aunt for lockdown as we both live alone. We went to Aldi today to do our shopping. We buy our own food so need to both go into store. My aunt doesn't drive. I understand the rules about only one person per household but we are not a couple!! We were not allowed to share a trolley but could both shop together if we had a trolley each. The manager said they needed to keep people safe but we were still allowed in the shop together. Couldn't share a trolley but could queue at the tills with people we don't live with where there was no social distancing in place. If you are trying to keep people safe Aldi then what happened to social distancing?????

ALDI needs to pick up its game. Most of the staff are rude and disinterested in providing any level of customer service. People shop in ALDI because they're cheap, no other reason. I get in and out as quickly as I can and don't bother acknowledging the cashier unless they say hello first. I suspect most customers feel the same way. It's sad considering the effect this must have on the mental health of the staff.

I would just like to say thank you to the Aldi store in crewe on Sunday 24th January on making sure all customers were safe by not letting groups of people into the store at a time. It was a shame to see the person that was stood on the door was getting abused by people and acted in a very calm and professional way. It’s nice to see a supermarket taking covid seriously and making sure that everyone is wearing a mask, thank you crewe Aldi.

I completed my first click & collect at Ledbury's Aldi on Tuesday. I found the website easy to follow and the pick up extremely efficient with a very polite young man loading my shopping into the car for me. Brilliant Aldi I'll definitely be doing it again.

I emailed aldi last Friday to complain about a member of staff who was complaining about having customers in the clacton branch.. I wish I would have got the elderly ladies name who was left upset after this staff members outburst. Obviously nothing will be done as the reply I received was thanking me for my comments!

20 pack tie up refuse sacks. Won't tie up or fit the dustbin because the yellow tie is stuck in its 'channel' . Manufacturing fault .

Today were to aldi Wellington, Telford. You can go in just one person per trolley, this mean you need to have a trolley and your wife need to have another trolley ( s..t idea). Two staff personal did not wear masks, they said they have asthma, ok they can ware face shields I think if they realy want taught rules. Even a guy with asthma can spread covid 19. Or the guys with asthma need to stay home with this restriction is tier 4. Ok they and came back to work on tier 2 ( I think). I took a picture with one of them and after this I was ask to leave the store. I need to mention me and my wife wore the masks all the time on nose and chin. After picture and challenge them to ware the masks one rude guy stuff from picture ask security to take us out. I will never use that store and I will post my story in all media.

Last night I tried to register and place an order for Click and Collect as a Senior Citizen customer of Aldi of many years standing. I managed to get a slot and eventually to order most of which I required and went to checkout. Then the problems started! - my payment of £34 was declined - thinking I had entered an incorrect number I started again - payment declined told to contact my bank for a passcode - phoned bank who cannot issue said code as ido not have a mobile! - phoned Aldi who told me that I must have this as I am a new customer! - asked my daughter for help and she entered her details but my address - got to payment and it keeps coming up with the Sheppey Store Kent, when we are in Bexhill East Sussex - a 250 mile round trip? Would a farce. Do you not want customers - I am not the only person in the UK without a mobile, why are you discriminating against me by preventing me from availing myself of this service when I am a Vulnerable Person during this pandemic? Shame on you Aldi

My 2star rating was given , based on service today at Aldi Harlescott.,13.15. No hand gel by front door. Till person was touching her nose and mouth then rubbed her eye whilst serving the person infront of me. When it was my turn I noticed that she didnt use hand gel ,I asked her if she could use before handling my produce. She did this straight away She then complained to her colleague that Id asked her to do it, the following customer said 'poor you , your hands must be sore, ' I could have refrained from this review, but on hearing her remarks, I felt it necessary to comment.I tried calling the store but no pick up. I really do feel that till persons should gel up before each customer to help keep us all safe.

Up to 18 months ago our sainsbursy/aldi split was 85/15. however over the last year or so it has turned around to 20/80.Due to a combination of refurbished and extended stores making it more enjoyable to shop combined with good quality cheaper products

I am very disappointed with my past shopping experience with Aldi's. When I last visited the location in Sabraton WV I was confronted with a very rude employee who ran to the phone to call the police because I would not wear a mask due to my religious beliefs. This is discrimination and I completed a complaint and have not been back since. I have decided to do curbside pickup and prices are more. I did a google search on this and states they are about 17% more, that is quit a bit of a difference. I was going to shop for 2 households for the month but I think I will be taking my business somewhere else.

I made a point of driving to Aldi at ferry rd Cardiff this morning,, specifically to purchase a halogen oven/fryer.. It was advertised in the leaflet ,, on sale on the Thursday 7th Jan 2021. I asked one of the assistants where they were stacked.. only to be brushed off with a couldn't care attitude, with no explanation at all, as to why they hadn't been delivered.. she just carried on stacking, left me standing there dumbfounded.. Come on Aldi if you advertise that a product will be for sale, then deliver it, and train your staff to be more friendly and courteous.. This is not the first time I've been brushed off with poor attitude, your staff are always to busy to approach, I've noticed over the years of shopping in Aldi. Thank you John Bailey..

Don't use click and collect. I recently did a click and collect. There were substitutions I returned no refund was given the store took the stuff back charged the click & collect fee. So I paid about £10 for click and collect. Guess what cant amend the shopping once ordered??

The quality of organic products are not quality. In fact, I can find more REAL organic products at WalMart! I will stay with Natural Grocers, my items at Wal-Mart and Swanson Health Products. I may be spending more but I know I am getting real food.

Just tried the cod loin wrapped in bacon, what a disappointment no taste to the cod or bacon completely tasteless. Took longer to cook through than said on box. I am a loyal customer in Aldi and find most thing acceptable. This ruined a dinner for a friend.

Regarding the comments from HR MANAGER. You of course are quite correct with all you say. That checkout person should be fired for their behaviour. It was not far from assault. Had it been me I would have stood my ground regardless. What a confounded cheek. Such behaviour is to be expected from them though. The Dover store in Kent seems to not argue about people packing at the checkout providing it is not at a snails pace. Today we are finally rid of the EU and with any luck this horrible company will go along with it.

Aldi Basingstoke Road Reading (not my usual Aldi shopping store) disappointing experience today at 2.45pm. Covid queuing is a pain, changes from week to week in different stores, whereupon today a very rude abrupt aggressive store worker dictating, finger pointing, & wasn't happy I couldn't understand the queuing rules & then had the blatant nerve to sarcastically answer me back when I tried to challenge her on her behaviour. Shall bypass this particular store in future.

Aldi's two stores in Silver Spring, MD carry over ripe berries. poor quality produce (like shriveled potatoes) and frequently are out of common staples. I sent a note to customer service and received a canned response that had no relevance to my complaint. An email sent to the CEO was blocked (I guess he has heard enough) , and phone conversation with a manager in customer service went no where as she insisted that she is here to help but could not articulate what help she can provide. Aldi is selling low quality foods at reduced prices and it is not a bargain. Lidl is coming to Silver Spring and I am sure many people will shop there. The prices are slightly higher but the quality is superb
