Avoid Aldi Walkden !! Duty managers do not know how to handle their staff, customers service is beyond poor, head offie are just as bad at lying - was assaulted by their security guard, the statements from the Aldi “investigation” do not match the police statements and coincidentally there’s no cctv. Other reviews show how vile the security guards are at this store!!

Ordered an item online, 3-5 days delivered confirmed.Aldi emailed me on 5th day to say it had been dispatched. The final day it should have been delivered. Notified customer services, who fobbed me off time and time again. Each customer service agent had a different excuse concerning where my item was. No tracking information was available. Apparantly I was told that I had to wait 10 working days from when I placed the order before anything could be done for me by one customer service advisor, the others made up their own version just to get me off the phone. Spoke to 5 people altogether during the 10 working days as the item never arrived but no joy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that wasn't possible, but how I could request a call back from one within 48 hours and then I was told however this wasn't guaranteed. I have made a complaint, which is awaiting a reply, and intend to inform the CEO of my experience, as the situation will not improve for anyone if they are not made aware of how customers are being treated by their customer service department. They showed no interest what so ever, but take ones money quick enough no problem there. I am waiting now for a customer service manager to call me back. It remains to be seen whether this will happen. Dreadful, appalling service.

If you have the need to visit Sheerness Aldi dont ask a member of staff where a certain product is -they have rules whereby they can only give directions from point where they are and are not allowed to show by walking and taking customer there -believe me this was the manager informing me and I agree as it must be tiring

purchased a slow cooker from Aldi. It went wrong, i emailed the support department shown on the user manual for help. Auto reply - no help there Tried phoning them - 4 times no answer after about 25 minutes on each occasion. email customer services - only be patronised by asking if I was contacting the right department for service, ignoring the fact that I could not get an answer from them, asked to be contacted by manager - ignored. Tried contacting various manager by email - ignored by all. Item not repaired. Will be doing my main shop elsewhere from now on.

I often go to the store in CF14 in Cardiff and there is one young man who works on the tills, who always makes my day! His name is Jake and he is efficient, cheerful and very positive, always working with a smile. We need more you g people like Jake as he is an excellent advert for Aldi and the youth of today :)

Aldi. Not another store on the Chester Rd. Right next to a busy Island. It will cause chaos. And peak times . it could grid lock Chester Rd.

This review is not about the quality of goods within Aldi but about a particular store condition. I do not ever have anything nice to say about this company but today is different. On Monday 26 October 2020 I went into my local store in Dover, Kent. It was bright and shiny, no pallets of stock all over the place and the checkout female was very nice and friendly towards me. Maybe a new manager but whatever it was well done. Again, this is not about their goods.

Potatoe quality was abysmal. 4kg of Irish rooster potatoes with a best before date of October 29th and I wind up spending my time cutting out rotting pieces to make the spuds usable. I bought them on the 20th so I guess I ll have to rummage through their boxes for a better expiry date in future !!

The quality of their food used to be very good. Now it is awful, Aldi is keeping prices nearly the same but the quality is noticably lower. I am now shopping more at Lidl or Morrisons. Quality far superior. Do they think that we won't notice? Well we do.

No surprises about the masks review from Robin. Aldi most likely do have rules for staff but managers for this company are hard to come by as all the best seem to have gone to other companies. It is not a nice company to work for. As for Robin's age? This company discriminate against the elderly and less able and in some of their stores it is disgracefully obvious. The answer is to go elsewhere.

Returns/refunds not the greatest with products with issue. Purchased the attached last week with an expiry of the end of next year. Basically just offered a refund if I go into store/exchange. Lucky I didn't pour it out without really looking as all the mould would have been under the stuff that looked okay.

I visited the Aldi Store in DARTFORD 09.45 today 13.10.20. Several customers (4) I noted on my travel round the aisles, were not wearing protective masks. 5 of the shelf fillers were not either. I raised this with the checkout person who said that they had been told not to approach any person not wearing a mask. What about the staff? I asked to speak to the manager, Richard, who had no mask either. He said that it was a Company direction not to approach customers. I asked to take it further and was given a phone number. This connected me to a very polite man who said (and I paraphrase) that he could not defend the dangerous laxity. These people were handling and breathing over packeted and raw goods on the shelves - possibly coating these with Covid -19 virues for everyone else to be infected by. I am 83 and "vulnerable". Their conduct demonstrates their real care - not the dozens of notices stuck on every window. The complaint reference is A1861050.

Aldi located at Dania Beach ,Florida 10/12/2020 @12:02 The most rude employee I have ever found. Her name LaShonna( on my receipt ) While I was on position to pay, LaShonna left her cash register and went to reach for the costumers behind me, passing them just in front of me. She took their merchandise and proceed to check them out. Also rushing costumers on her cue and directing them to other cash register. When I asked why she was doing such an abusive act ,she responded: "Oh you didn't have to wait that long" It is a shame to be interacting with public in this disrespecful fashion . She is creating a bad reputation to the business that employ her. Please check your cameras and see that behavior in action !

I ordered a tv online from Aldi and had a very bad experience in returning it as it wasn’t right , I went in to my local Aldi in Bramley Rotherham and 2 of the managers there really helped me out , one called Linda and the other lady I can’t remember her name but they went above and beyond to get me my refund and help me out of a really stressful situation and time , I would like to thank them very much as I feel the situation would have gone on fir a very long time if it wasn’t for them .

Repeated overcharging. Made to feel like a criminal when it is spotted and refund requested. Shouted at and bullied in store by managers standing one foot away from you. ALDI policy is NO APOLOGY. Aldi will try to get away with it as much as they can with impunity. Contents of email ignored and repeatedly just answered with machine code. Overcharging appears to be company policy.

After more than 20 minutes in line at a till we was offered a simple "sorry for the wait" by our new server who was less than tolerable as a server. She ID'd me for my alcoholic drinks which was fair enough, she then asked my 14 year old daughter for ID for the paracetamol I purchased... she had just come from school and was still in uniform... I thought it was obvious after her being my daughter and showing my ID I am the one paying, but she refused to sell me the paracetamol (ironically she still sold me.the ciders...).. apparently everyone present has to have ID no matter their age... this was a joke, she is a kid! she cant even have any ID outside her school ID at her age! She insisted even a baby needs ID if present in my "group" (Aldi's definition of a family). So note, never go to aldi with a child if you plan to get some simple paracetamol... though your good for vodka or cider. Went down the road to tesco and laughed to the checkout clerk how pathetic it was, she found it ridiculous and even gave us a voucher for our next visit... Never going back to aldi again. Tesco got a new customer I guess. Funny they also failed all government guidelines regarding masks and distancing... what a joke.
