Got stopped in the Ashton under lyne store and my bags searched because they didn't have the item I wanted and I was leaving the shop with nothing.I had my granddaughter with me.I will never go into that store again .I'm glad I kept the receipts for the items I'd bought in other shops.

Suarez Red Wine was like vinegar! Awful. Not for me. You get what you pay for.

I would just like to congratulate my local Aldi store in Kidsgrove. I always find that the staff are pleasant and helpful. I was served today by Debbie and could not fault her assistance. The store was not overcrowded and the traffic light system works extremely well.

I have bought several cans of Activ deodorant recently , where the spray/atomiser stops working after a couple of uses. When contacting customer services I am told they can only be returned or exchanged with a receipt. Surprisingly I don't hang on to my shopping receipts for weeks. Very disappointed in product and "customer service"

Fake products Aldi why is the 39pence Aldi Cream crackers sometimes tasty and most times tasteless and bland like ply wood? The ginger l bought was pale green inside like it was artificially grown in a factory, not naturally planted? Not to mention the arrogant unhelpful rude staff What a chicanery !!!

I have been a loyal customer at Aldi long before you built your large superstores but after my experience this morning at your Fulwood Preston store I will not be returning certainly not until Covid is under control. No trolleys are sanitised, the sanitiser containers which there were two one was completely empty and the other nearly empty [this was this morning at 10.30 a.m.] No control on how many people enter the store and there were several customersnot wearing masks the age of these persons males between 20-30 years old. Also a large number of staff were not wearing masks. According to your website it is "mandatory to wear masks in your stores". One particular man was sniffing coghing and spluttering over the food regularlys putting his hand to his nose and then handling food. I brought this to the attention of one of your staff also the lack of face masks and was met with a "blank" look. When I reached the checkout and was paying for my goods one of these men attempted to come very close to me when I politely asked him to "give me some space and mentioned he was not wearing a face mask". As a customer in your store I expect your Company to employ suitable staff to marshall the store and not take such a cavalier approach to a very serious virus. As of 22 Nov there were over 6,500 confirmed Covid cases in Preston!

Hi I went to 2 different Aldis this weekend - the Sundon Park Luton store clean ordered queuing system - great compliance with mask wearing .Lovely security guard overseeing , calm organised shopping experience with orderly queue at the sanitising station On Friday I went to the Catford/ Lewisham branch - security guard on his phone , a large number of people not wearing masks . I stood at the designated sanitising stations, not one person used the hand gel or wiped their trolley / basket .The store was extremely crowded and no one seemed to be monitoring and not all staff wearing masks - it was an awful frightening experience and very much appeared like the profit motive was outweighing any public health concerns - I left very quickly So the question is why this lack of consistency and who is responsible for overseeing and manage this

The customer service by Gemma at Leicester Meridian was excellent. She overheard me commenting about an out of stock item and went and fetched me one without being asked.

No customer service 13 people in one line. Only 2 cashiers open, finally they opened another line This no way to treat customers. Could you see Shoprite w 13 people in line?! It boils down to corporate greed, too cheap to hire another person, rather keep it in THEIR pockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went into Aldi in Dover this morning 16/11/2020 at 0930. It was packed with only one checkout open and queues right to back of the store. Not only that but there was no social distancing whatsoever!! I beat a hasty retreat. Utterly disgraceful AND SHAME ON THEM.

Avoid Aldi Walkden !! Duty managers do not know how to handle their staff, customers service is beyond poor, head offie are just as bad at lying - was assaulted by their security guard, the statements from the Aldi “investigation” do not match the police statements and coincidentally there’s no cctv. Other reviews show how vile the security guards are at this store!!

Ordered an item online, 3-5 days delivered confirmed.Aldi emailed me on 5th day to say it had been dispatched. The final day it should have been delivered. Notified customer services, who fobbed me off time and time again. Each customer service agent had a different excuse concerning where my item was. No tracking information was available. Apparantly I was told that I had to wait 10 working days from when I placed the order before anything could be done for me by one customer service advisor, the others made up their own version just to get me off the phone. Spoke to 5 people altogether during the 10 working days as the item never arrived but no joy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that wasn't possible, but how I could request a call back from one within 48 hours and then I was told however this wasn't guaranteed. I have made a complaint, which is awaiting a reply, and intend to inform the CEO of my experience, as the situation will not improve for anyone if they are not made aware of how customers are being treated by their customer service department. They showed no interest what so ever, but take ones money quick enough no problem there. I am waiting now for a customer service manager to call me back. It remains to be seen whether this will happen. Dreadful, appalling service.

If you have the need to visit Sheerness Aldi dont ask a member of staff where a certain product is -they have rules whereby they can only give directions from point where they are and are not allowed to show by walking and taking customer there -believe me this was the manager informing me and I agree as it must be tiring

purchased a slow cooker from Aldi. It went wrong, i emailed the support department shown on the user manual for help. Auto reply - no help there Tried phoning them - 4 times no answer after about 25 minutes on each occasion. email customer services - only be patronised by asking if I was contacting the right department for service, ignoring the fact that I could not get an answer from them, asked to be contacted by manager - ignored. Tried contacting various manager by email - ignored by all. Item not repaired. Will be doing my main shop elsewhere from now on.

I often go to the store in CF14 in Cardiff and there is one young man who works on the tills, who always makes my day! His name is Jake and he is efficient, cheerful and very positive, always working with a smile. We need more you g people like Jake as he is an excellent advert for Aldi and the youth of today :)

Aldi. Not another store on the Chester Rd. Right next to a busy Island. It will cause chaos. And peak times . it could grid lock Chester Rd.

This review is not about the quality of goods within Aldi but about a particular store condition. I do not ever have anything nice to say about this company but today is different. On Monday 26 October 2020 I went into my local store in Dover, Kent. It was bright and shiny, no pallets of stock all over the place and the checkout female was very nice and friendly towards me. Maybe a new manager but whatever it was well done. Again, this is not about their goods.
