for a new store in Cambridge you think they would have more choice and the staff are rude and unhelpful more interested in there talk to other shop staff than helping customers

Absolutely discusted with how Aldi have dealt with my complaint about my top which got ruined by a product from the store at longwell green, Bristol. Few weeks ago i bought a multi surface cleaner that contained bleach. (power force) . Unfortunately the lid was lose or broken and it leaked in the bag with the Shopping and on my hoody top when i unpacked the bag at home . I rang Aldi straight away to complain and the company wanted pics. I sent them off and had various calls asking the same questions. Had a call today and all they could say was it must have happened in my car and basically taking no responsibility. Seen reviews before, that Aldi don't deal with matters very well. I can see how now. Not one apologise just shouldering the blame to the customer. Believe it or not you are not perfect and i understand products can be damaged. Take responsibility for it is my message!! I never complain about anything but this was clearly not my fault and now have to spend money replacing my top. Wont be going back after this. Spent years going and enjoyed it but this has really got me angry!! 😔

Visited our local store in east dereham both my wife and myself as we always shop together ,only to be abruptly told by some little upstart that one of us would have to wait in the car as we were not allowed to shop together, as my husband has specific dietary needs we always shop together, so at this we both left and went to Morrison's where we were welcomed and did our £100 weekly shop there we have shopped at aldi since they opened but vowed never to go there again after being embarrassed at their door

Iv just discovered aldi's Rhubarb disinfectant and it's the cats pyjamas. Iv bought other methods of scentsy sprays for my kitchen and this beats them hands down .on smell cleaning and affordability .cant wait to try the other scents now .And No Donald I wont be drinking it as Aldi also do lovely rhubarb gin too.

The staff at Aldi in Morecambe are incredibly friendly especially Andy & Vaughan. I have on a couple of occasion had to return goods and the staff have been very happy to help and either refund me or exchange the goods. During this pandemic Aldi have managed the situation of social distancing extremely well and in particular and Vaughan has been very helpful to customers - his big smile brightens my day on going into the ship and as I leave. A big thank you to all the staff at Aldi in Morecambe.

Items not delivered after 3 weeks past order date. 2 emails and 65 minutes on phone calls to be told it was a warehouse issue, no I couldn't get a refund as it was past their 2 week policy. True. But I didn't change my mind- you never delivered the items so I was due a full refund on my order. Somewhat resolved after quoting back their policy on non-delivery on yet another email. Left with half an order delivered and disappointed children. Still waiting for all those promised callbacks.. Never shopping there again and warning everyone I know about ALDI.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ONLINE AT ALDI!!!! I rarely write online reviews but feel the need to let people know the kind of company they're dealing with. I ordered a spa pool and accessory pack for £400 which was delivered to my billing address (I emailed as soon as confirmation received as noticed the error and called two days later to check but still delivered) - it is my old home which I have let out so know the tenants (a lovely young couple, both teachers). Aldi organised to have order picked up which the tenants messaged me when it was picked up - I called Aldi and they told me courier had picked up and was at depot waiting to be returned to Aldi at which point refund would be issued. All absolutely fine and I waited two weeks before calling back - Aldi then told me that not only had they not received order, the courier couldn't collect it. I told them I knew this to be incorrect as a few days earlier I had been to see the tenants. Aldi said they would investigate and get back to me. That was 3 months ago. In that time I have sent over 10 emails and called 8 times - I've had one email reply and on each call I get promised a call back from a manager. Not once have the ever called me back. Today i refused to get off call until spoke with a manager who was close to laughing about the situation and just said there's nothing we can do, unless you have proof that we received the item back (of course impossible) then we won't pay you anything back. I explained there was nothing else I could show and she couldn't care less, just said 'sorry, nothing we can do' and ended the call. I have shopped with Aldi for a long time and always had a great experience but this is beyond unacceptable, it is pure theft. Please don't order anything from them!!!!

Waiting for my third 6 bottle online order since lockdown. Unlike other supermarkets, they take your money within 24 hours, then on my last order they tell me one bottle is out of stock, again unlike other supermarkets taking online orders, I cant replace with it with another bottle nor have I received a refund of £7.99 owed to me. No doubt I'll get the money they owe me at some point, but owing you money days in advance, then to be told they cant fulfil your order and also not allowing you to replace the the item with another is rank poor service.

To whom this may concern I was a customer at store number 18 today for the first time. I went inside the store to purchase one thing a cartridge of butter. I absolutely love the fact that the store is well organized and clean. It was very easy for me to find the item that I was looking for, as well as other things because they were in the correct spot and labeled correctly. Unfortunately my first time experience at the store was not all so great. I was never greeted at the door or greeted by anyone in that store when I first walked in . By this being my first time experience at the store I was not sure where the butter or other items were located at . I unfortunately had to circle back twice around the store looking for the butter, because no one in the store ever approached me to see if I needed any assistance or help. I was only approached by a man named Tony Ramirez when I was leaving out the store. He approached me in a very aggressive unprofessional bothering way regarding a receipt. He stated that he never once saw me purchase The item which was in my hand, so he needed proof of the purchase. I stated to him that I was in the line with the young lady, and I have the receipt and change in my hand. He still insisted that he had to see the receipt which I showed him. Before Showing him the receipt he stated to me that he saw me double back walking around the store. Which indeed I did looking for the butter as well as other items that were in the store that I one day was hoping to purchase. I will no longer purchase any items or anything from this location or any ALDI store matter of fact. Never did I get a welcome or as well as a thank you for coming. Also when I walked inside the store Mr. Tony was helping a customer who stated that she was missing some fruit l, but he said it wasn’t on her receipt. When the young lady left Mr. Tony said out loud I don’t know who this lady think she was fooling, but I wasn’t having it she has to go on somewhere else with all of that and I quote. That was very unprofessional of him, and a supervisor or manager should conduct business with customers or in front of customer in that matter. In my opinion Mr. Tony needs to be taught again customer service ,and professionalism. I would not recommend this store to any of my friends and family.

I think the fruit and vegetables are of poor quality. If I buy from Sainsbury's or Waitrose. I will pay more but they taste and last longer.

Doesn't the previous review say it all about this company. It is complete and utter nonsense to say this is government policy...one person per trolley. It IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I despair with this shocking company and would advise everyone to go somewhere else. No decency anywhere with this shower. No compassion, no caring about the elderly and disabled. As if that is not enough their goods are seriously nasty too. I wish I could give MINUS five as their score.

My Husband and I were shopping at out local Aldi successfully once a week during the recent crisis. My Husband is over 70 and we found the system in place adequate and reassuring and we were able to shop within and hour. However that has all changed as we turned up to shop and were told that it was one person per trolley as per government guidelines. Nowhere on the government website does it state that you have to shop alone. We now shop elsewhere as do other couples we know. I have emailed Aldi and placed this review as I was surprised to see a review from a shopper from Walkden stating that she and her Husband shopped together. Its bad enough for older people in the current situation but this system makes you feel like a second rate person. I doubt that they would turn away a family with children.

If I could give no stars I would......ordered 7 items, including pre-ordered item....got the pre-ordered item still waiting for the 6 ā€œin stockā€ items. Spent an hour on phone trying to find out where things stood, was told they waiting for courier, felt customer agent wanted to move on ASAP 3-10 working days delivery window.......couriers and Aldi are both 7 day a week operations so by definition the delivery should be here within 10 days. No doubt I’ll have to waste more time next week trying to get through, absolutely shambolic!
