A self review again, this time from Burnage.Just shows how bad they are when they have to resort to such tactics.

What a nasty, horrid and disreputable company this is, Isn't it. All we can hope for is that one day they may go out of business here and those nasty rude staff members, including the managers, find themselves jobless. This company are only like this over here and not in their home country, where such behaviour would not be tolerated by the customers. I no longer shop there because of this. complaining to their head office is a toatl waste of time. If staff are not wearing masks then report them. STAY AWAY!!

Aldi Henbury Bristol. No staff wearing masks apart from dangling around their necks if at all. When mentioned to girl on checkout all she said was yes she was wearing mask just that is was under her face. She was rude with big attitude. I will not shop at Aldi now until Covid is over.

Store number 46 in Brooksville on Cortez boulevard Hernando County Florida. They sell bad meat and they acknowledge it to my face. Apparently it happens often. Make sure to save your receipts! They also DO NOT stand behind there refund policy.

Aldi - New Basford, Nottingham. If you want to be screamed at and humiliated by the staff who have no consideration for social distancing then this is the place for you. Having shopped there since it opened the staff have up to now been wonderful. Today, the checkout girl had it in for me from the moment I put down my first item. She told me to take it down as she didn’t want it on her conveyor belt. Which I did. Having finished placing the rest of the items down the checkout girl then told the customer behind who only had a couple of items me to squeeze past me as she wanted to serve her first. With no social distancing the customer did as she was told. Then it was my turn. I obviously wasn’t placing my items back into the trolley at a fast enough pace to please her so she then started pushing them in. At that point I quietly spoke to her asking her not to push them in. Well, at that point all hell broke loose! She started screaming and shouting at me that I was being rude. I explained to her quietly that this was embarrassing and I might just need to walk away to avoid the onslaught of verbal abuse. To which she replied that it was my choice, it didn’t bother her as she would get somebody else to put the shopping away. I carried on loading my trolley and paid . When I took my receipt off her she then started screaming and shouting again that I was being rude . All this was happening in front of other customers who just stood there shocked by her behaviour. Finally, I said please could I speak to the manager - to which she shouted, “I AM THE MANAGER!” When we, the customers, speak to people we are rightfully asked to be respectful and polite. Surely the same should be asked of the staff at Aldi.

I am totally dumbfounded by all these poor ratings. Why on earth do people go there in the first place. It's not as if you are getting quality or good treatment by staff. You are certainly not being in a safe environment right now with Covid and the total lack of social distancing in their stores. Add this to the selfish people who refuse to cooperate with any request to keep safe and you have a recipe for disaster. Then of course those who think if they have a mask on they are safe. This inspite of all the publicity to the contrary. STAY AWAY from this company.

Abysmal Customer Services. After 2 no shows from their allocated courier I cancelled and asked for a refund. Now 65 days later and after many phone calls still fighting for refund. They and their equally terrible couriers will try at all cost not to give you a refund. Lies, Lies and still more lies. They will give any excuse to stop you speaking to a manager or supervisor. Be aware DO NOT use online shopping if you want it to be hassle free. Now in the hands of my bank to get a refund. If not forthcoming i will seek legal redress. Worst online customer services and couriers in the world. I wont shop there again. Why cant i give a minus rating?

Aldi is cheap for some things and that is the only reason I go there. A lot has been said about poor COVID 19 response by this store. I go there late evening when it is not busy. Last time I went they had spray but had run out of cloths to wipe down the hand baskets. No hand sanitiser. Many of the staff seem less then enthusiastic about working there. My reason for complaining today is because I am just now trying to eat ‘sweet pepper’ fish cakes (sweet peppers are salad peppers and are not the same as the hot chillies, the main difference being, they are not hot. I can’t eat hot food as it does not suit my digestive system. Hence I purchased these believing they were NOT HOT! ). Can you imagine how I felt when I sat down to my meal and then finding it was so hot I could barely eat it. Because I hate waste and finding an alternative means defrosting something I will take the risk and try and work my way through it. I also will in future steer clear of anything from Aldi that is breadcrumbs for the good reason that mostly these concoctions have so much crumb that the protein content must be almost non existent. In conclusion, under normal circumstances, quite a bit of good but, especially in respect of pricing, but best to be choosy.

for angel care monitor I was over the moon £70 saving on most stores. I placed my order 3-5days delivery 18days later and several phone calls and emails later my order has been lost and now out of stock!!! So I’m now stuck fitting the bill for the extra cost of this item aldi not willing to correct this mistake in anyway wouldn’t recommend ordering anything online from them.

The quality of their fresh products has deteriorated considerably. In recent shops I have had to throw away a full punnet of nectarines.. a whole cucumber. A complete head of celery. All this was in 1 shop. I don't understand why their product is have taken such a drop in quality as I'm sure their deliveries of such goods have become more frequent. They need to up their game and be more careful with quality control.

I am confused about the previous review. How on earth did you manage to give it three stars after your complaints, especially the one about social distancing? If it is as bad as you say, and I do not doubt it at all, then it should be reported to the appropriate authorities. They would be in serious trouble. If anyone values their health they should stay away from Aldi and all the non social distancing customers.

We shop at Aldi every week because of the brilliant value for money. Most of their products are good quality at a good price. HOWEVER, just recently I have had to take 'fresh' chicken back for the second time. On both occasions, the chicken had gone off well before the 'use before' date, and on both occasions I was given a replacement, but without surprise, explanation or apology from the store manager. This leads me to believe that Aldi are still purchasing in chicken from dodgy sources, which is unbelievable after the scandals a couple of years ago. My other gripe relates to their Covid policies. Basically, Aldi, being generally cramped, cannot comply with Covid distancing store policies, so you are taking a risk most times you shop there, especially if the mask policy is not enforced by their staff. Having said all this, we will continue to shop at Aldi, but with caution.

Corona virus is nothing, the bacteria in the dirty hand baskets is far worse. Can't they wash them once in a while, I have to put my food in them. Also why do the checkouts open and close at random. I queue for ages then checkout closes. So I have to join another queue and start over. Shopping here (Bracknell Branch) is misery. Sainsbury manage it fine, have to go there anyway to get the goods not stocked at Aldi.

DISGRACEFUL- BURTON ON TRENT STORE. This is the worst supermarket I have ever been in. We are in a pandemic and Aldi are the culprits in encouraging a second wave. No social distancing in the store. When advised to a member of staff there response was leave! Another response from a member of staff is they cannot Monitor everything. If you cannot monitor this then the store should be CLOSED! Abrupt, rude and unprofessional staff! I will never use this store again. The government need to close businesses like this that do not follow the guidelines. No care or consideration for there customers or the general public. The manager of the store hides there name so they do not have to deal with customer issues. The customer service team fob you off and brush everything under the carpet. What a shambles!

Just returned from Aldi Alton, where at least a dozen ignorant and irresponsible people were not wearing face coverings in store. Until everybody follows compulsory government advice, including tore management, the virus will continue indefinitely. Not a pleasant experience.

Cashier named Carlos at store in Buena Park, Ca was very rude to me and my husband. No "hello" or "Did we find everything ok" My husband paid as I was bagging our groceries. Carlos proceeded to tell my husband that next time we need to get our own cart if we were going to buy so many items. We only bought 30 items but whatever. We didnt have a quarter to get a cart so we just carried our items in our bags as we shopped. I've shopped there long enough to know that the cashiers always have a couple spare carts for the next customer if they don't have one. I always give it right back to them too when Im done. I've worked retail and managed for the last 25 yrs so I know the importance of great customer service. Hopefully you all train and coach your employees a little better. I will never be shopping here again.

I shopped at the Cowgate Aldi on Sunday. As usual, when you enter the shop in the last hour before closing, the sanitisation station is shambolic. I should have photographed it... The shop was busy - no social distancing what so ever.. at 15:45 the first announcement was made for customers to make their way to the tills as the shop would be closing..Which is what shoppers began to do. But, Aldi only had two tills open so my queue quickly reached back to the back of the shop - so did the other - and there were still shoppers trying to work out where to join a queue. Bottle neck and difficult to distance from one another. I asked one employee who was tidying the bread counter if another till might be opened - I was rudely told, ‘no’. I pointed out that the queues were huge and unsafe... he walked away saying, ‘Some people only think about themselves..!’ Not at all - Dangerous all round for everyone, as far as health and safety goes. Rude staff on top of it. Aldi, if you ask customers to head towards the tills.. open them! Sanitising stations should be available up until the last minute the shop closes.
