Honestly. This nasty company beggars belief at times. It is their desire to get you to pack at those nasty packing counters BUT you do NOT HAVE TO. THEY CANNOT MAKE YOU. If they insist politely tell them no thank you, I will pack my bags here. Checkout staff can be downright rude at times. Are you elderly by any chance? If so then it all makes sense as they have little or no time for them. I have never figured out why it is that when people post on here they rarely name the store they are complaining about. It won't matter to Aldi but it can to some who visit that particular store. They can stop going. Once again, shame on them. Go to Lidl instead. Morrisons even. Good luck and I am sorry you had this issue.

My visit today at Aldi was good regarding products availability and the store in general, however at check out the cashier was very rude and made me fell unwelcome. First, there was one item on the floor that didn't belonged to my shopping and when I gave back to her she asked me if I didn't want the product anymore. I had to repeat myself saying that the item was not from my basket, she then stormed off to put the item back without saying anything to me. While I was waiting for the staff member to come back, I started putting the items that were scanned in my bag instead of doing nothing. A few minutes after, on her return while finishing scanning the remaining items from my cart, she then tells me that the shop has a designated packaging area and that I shouldn't have put the scanned items in my bag while waiting for her?! I'm aware of the packing area and how the system work at Aldi, I haven't done anything wrong as a customer and I refuse to leave the house on the current situation to be treated like that. The customers before and after me received a different treatment and from my point of view, she was being racist.

Staff member doing some stocktaking work passed by me about 1 foot away. Then she did it a second time. I made a comment that she was too close the second time. She gave a weak "sorry"... I spotted the manager, I told him about it and told him that the second time she did it i quote "had a bit of a go at her"...He replied to my utter surprise "Please don't do that sir, she has to do her job"..... I have reported this to head office and they said it was utterly unacceptable and that they would have a serious word, but the public need to now that Aldi Burpham should be avoided as the management have a really bad attitude about social distancing

Security guard outside Aldi b31 today hugged a young woman who was jumping the queue and allowed her to enter the store .Whilst other supermarkets prioritise pensioners and health workers Aldi are focused on attractive young women

Aldi seem to have a fair amount of stock lately. No surprise really is it. Poor quality means lots of stock left. I agree with the review regarding Sundays only early for NHS staff. How mean can this company get!! Regarding the review stating this company's stores are all well stocked. A sweeping statement indeed. Impossible to state unless one goes into them all. A company employee? Probably.

Typical of Aldi. They say they are introducing opening slots for NHS staff etc on a Sunday only!! Pathetic isn't it. When other chains are doing so very very frequently. Stores full of quality foods? They are, but not Aldi stores.

Me and my partner weren't allowed in even 6ft apart. Was told that one of us could shop and the other could go in when the other had come out. Yet other people could go in while he had to wait outside. Doesn't make sense.

The stars awarded re the Borehamwood store's kindness should reflect that kindness only and not appear to make Aldi worthy of all those stars as a company. The staff cocerned should be applauded, not the company. The person who witnessed sniffing etc from a checkout lady should please name the store concerned. Aldi will not bother about it but we can all see where that store is and avoid it like the plague.

Re the staff in the Borehamwood store. An act of serious kindness to be sure, and I applaud the staff concerned. However, this is not indicative of this company at all, and the stars awarded should only reflect that kindness of an individual store. Re the store with sniffing etc checkout staff. Maybe you could name the store concerned?

Zero stars I'm afraid. Really concerned that you have staff on the till with symptoms of a cold. How do you know its a cold and not mild symptoms of covid19?

Fantastic customer service from members of staff in the Borehamwood store. My Mother in law who is 83 went to the store for the first time when she went to pay she didn’t have her bag to pay, she believed that her bag had been taken from her. She was understandably very upset. My Husband and I arrived to find a very tearful Mum. Staff had looked at the ctv footage and saw she had arrived to the store without her bag. I found it in her car. In the mean time the staff wouldn’t accept any payment for the food she had bought and gave her flowers. In this time of madness it is good to know that there are kind and helpful people who look after our parents when we are not about. Thank you 😊

Typical. 10 apart? 10 feet? Guess so. 80 in at a time!! Shocking. That's far too many, but would be about right for Aldi. Even my local Morrisons, which is massive, are not allowing that many in at a time under the present circumstances. Shame on Aldi.

Just braved it to ALDI people spaced out 10 apart outside the store. Only 80 people in at a time. Counted in and out. Guess what. There is food and drink and bog rolls. No pushing and shoving bags of room a slow pace and an enjoyable experience no contact with people I was wearing gloves and paid by card. Kudos to them. Organised people.

Here here. Not at all surprised by this behaviour and further proof just how nasty Aldi really is. Once again it is the elderly who are getting the flack. Don't this company have an ounce of decency in them at all? Seems not. Great that you gave store name BRADFORD CLAYTON, but very unlikely anything will be done about it. Try Lidl.

Hello I wish to complain about a team member, me and my wife are over 60+, we went to your Bradford clayton store on Tuesday, and have been regular customer since open. We went inside the store NOT noticing your small sign that stated only one member from the household could enter the store at that time. She was VERY rude and told us one must leave at once. If we had know your rules which we have not seen on your web site only one of use would have entered the store. I under stand that its very hard working in a store at this time. But 1. THIS VIRUS WILL END. 2. CUSTOMER HAVE A LONG MEMORY. 3. TALK TO CUSTOMER THE SAME WAY YOU WISH TO BE SPOKEN TO.

Good grief. Wouldn't you have thought that this now proven nasty little company would have compassion for the less able during these troubling times, but no. Having witnessed this company behaviour during normal times I too am disgusted. People will not forget when this is all over. Are they still allowing four of anything when all others are limiting to less? Almost certainly is my guess. It is a shame that the stores in question were not named. Why not come back on and do so?

Aldi I'm very disappointed in your behaviour you are allowing more people in your stores than at a football match. You are assisting the spread of a terrible virus. Shame on you I witnessed people clambering over each other to get to the shelves. Take some responsibility. Get a system in place to book a shopping slot or similar. Disgusted.

I’m a pensioner and have shopped In your stores for years, but alas the treatment I’m getting at the moment is disgusting, it’s hurry up put food back into trolley and pack on back shelves, I have never done this in the past and told the cashier this, there answer was, then I’ve been lucky as that is your policy. The attitude is pay up and get out. So I will be shopping elsewhere, where the customer service is better.
