“I see that at last people are beginning to realise that Aldi are not all that they are made out to be. Vote with your feet and stay away. Go elsewhere for better quality.”

“Hasn't made me happy for month's as you say you do not sell GMO products, but you do. Your sugar made by Pantry is GMO sugar Beet. Not to mention how most of your products like other supermarkets sell toxic food. The Christmas Turkey Parcel was the last straw for me. Stuffing was not proper stuffing and you forgot to tell us that it was bound together with toxic plastic string. Tasteless and a bacon which even my dog couln't chew. No more Aldi for me.”

“Okay folks. Aldi. What is wrong with their stores. Easier to ask what is right with them. Today is Xmas eve 2017. It is Sunday. I made my way to the Dover store and was surprised that it was not all that busy. Hmmm, most likely because of the massive new Lidl store opened up here. Anyway, I went in there because they were selling Air Fryers.Sadly they didn't have any left. Fair enough, it's Xmas. I never not ever buy anything in there because of their bad quality food items and other things. What really got to me was that as usual there was a member of staff with a huge pallet on a trolley unloading stock and putting it into racks, getting in everyone's way and forcing me to tread onto it. As I did so it moved quickly and I almost lost my balance. What if it had been someone elderly with not so good balance. Shame on you Aldi in this particular store, but it is not uncommon to find this in there. Wouldn't you have though they would do all the shelf filling before the store opened? Anyway, I have had my say, which is honest and not management inspired!!”

“Despite the Collier Row, Romford store being packed with pre-Christmas shoppers the staff were keeping the shelves well stocked while keeping the cages out of the way. That pressure on them didn't stop them taking you to the shelf when you asked where to find an item - two different staff did this. All tills were open and on a Monday afternoon so only one person ahead in the queue to pay. Have you ever watched an Aldi till operator scan your shopping? Special training must be given for them to be that fast, although having a wrap round bar code must help. Thank you for making food shopping quick, easy and enjoyable as well as at smaller cost to the wallet.”

“Adli are a first class shop, they sell almost everything that I require for my day to day needs The staff are always most helpful and polite Aldi are conscious of customers queuing for the checkouts and always open another till if possible Above all else the pricing is very cpmpetitive”

“Wouldn't you have thought that this company would have made an extra effort at Christmas? Not so. Popped into my local one only to find nothing had changed at all.Still the same cheap, bad quality food for those unfortunate enough who need to shop there. Nothing wrong with that I guess but please, don't think you are getting any bargains because you are not. I too have been in Aldi stores in the Netherlands and they are the same there too. I simply cannot recommend anything they sell, no matter how hard I try. As someone else has said, when it comes to cheap food it means low quality. I agree with that. Oh, I also agree that checkouts are a joke, but in Aldi's favour so are many others. That's all I have to say apart from,as another reviewer has stated, ignore the company reviews by staff!!”

“Aldi makes me happy because it offers a pleasant shopping environment, all the basics required for food, clothes and home, interesting European products, luxury items and special one-offs. The vast majority of my purchases have been of an excellent quality and offered great value for money. Most important of all: excellent chocolate!”

“STAFF AT THE MARKET ST STORE IN MANCHESTER ARE EXCEPTIONAL ESPECIALY THE LADY ON THE CHECKOUT WHOSE HAIRSTYLE CHANGES REGUARLY ! QUICK SERVICE ALWAYS WITH A PLEASANT GREETING AND A SINCERE GOODBYE HAVE A GOOD DAY ALWAYS A REAL PLEASURE TO SHOP IN THIS WELL STOCKED TIDY STORE”

“Aldi Is a fantastic alternative to the big brands like tesco and asda etc, I use it now frequently as there is one next door to my workplace. I would like to see more range and better stacking etc. but for what I use it for the job gets done.”

“Expensive prices and poor product range, staff are not always helpful.So if you don't currently use them then make sure you don't. Oh, and will whoever it is please stop making false reviews. It really does make things look much worse for this company.”
