I loved the sausage patties at $5.xx. It was a good deal. Yesterday I went to buy some and they were $6.89!. A whopping $2 difference! I won't be purchasing any more.

Mrs Richards. How on earth can you give them 5 stars for a complaint? Hmmm. Lots of people always go into these inferior stores just to buy offers, food or otherwise.

I am not a regular shopper at Aldi because of their poor quality of fresh products. However, today, 6th December, I decided to give them another chance and ventured into my Dover, Kent store. This really is the last time I do so. I bought celery, snap peas and broccoli spears. The celery was utterly disgusting and full of dark brown slime inside! The snap peas were flimsy, soft and yellowish, which did not show up through packaging. Why did I do it? I do not know. Bad judgement? For sure. The store has had a revamp and did look better but the fresh produce still shocking. Also the extremely customer unfriendly checkouts designed to get you to pack at their annoying "packing area". The ridiculous thing about them is that few people do so. For myself, and others I know, this is the number one turn off for them in Aldi stores. Why do they do so? Because Aldi will never admit they are wrong. It is a climb down for them.

Aldi mobile sim doesnt work in hospital when it was needed here in Geelong Victoria. NO service! When you want to talk about this and understand you have a woman in the Philippines.

So much for having a 60 day returns policy! I was queuing up as Aldi opened to beat the rush as I had a bottle of alcohol bought in error that I needed to return. The bottle was as new and I had my original receipt. In-store I was told they have a no return/refund policy on alcohol and I needed to contact customer services, what should have been a simple transaction is now going to take much more time than it should. Come on Aldi, get your act together!

Anpr operated parking restrictions with only small signage placed ‘conveniently’ high up, out of natural line of sight mean I WiLL NEVER SHOP WITH ALDI AGAIN. Be careful folks you will not see the signs, I had to go back to see if there even was any. They are there but are solely for them to point out AFTER you have been fined NOT to inform you of a possible infringement before it may occur and enable you to make an informed decision.

I like aldis very much but have been into my local store and all the advent on special offer have gone and it seems as though someone bought them all. I feel this is very unfair for customers and staff. You should only be allowed a certain amount maybe 6 per customer not to all go at once. I've seen it before with people filling their trolleys with fruit and veg as if theyve got a restaurant or shop.it should not be allowed. Maybe the advent were bought by somebody to sell them on at a profit. Very unfair to others.

Don't like this place at all, staffing problems , not a smile in sight. Not as cheap and cheerful than Lidal. Leave salad stuff on the shelves until the very last minute of its display date, by the time you take it home & use the following day it stinks, mushy and need to bin it. Chocolate oaties biscuits missing chocolate coated biscuits, half the packets are plain.

Another DIY product failed on first use. Trying to claim on the warranty was so long winded, involves a separate company you can't get through to, and they arrange collection's by Hermes who don't turn up but claim they did. Cheap and nasty waste of time and money.

Aldi's does not stand by it's food products that are delivered by delivery services. They pass the buck and tell you that the delivery service is responsible for the quality of their products because they bought the contract. BE FOREWARNED....unless you plan on putting a claim in right away with the delivery service, you will not receive a refund for a bad food item.

The issue with Aldi is they are sending the goods on time, but the companies who are then to deliver the items have too much demand and not enough staff or vans to deal with deman. I've had a birthday wine parcel sitting at Yodel depot in Kilmarnock since 4th November and still no movement and its 9th November. My friends birthday was 8th and I have been online several times to Yodel via Web chat and they keep stating same information the company has overload in parcels waiting for deliveries! Appalling service

Ordered two items online item shipped with Hermes. Over a week later the items still hadn't arrived and as always with Hermes the status was updated every day but no actual movement. I contacted Aldi Customer Service whose basic response was that there was nothing they could do about it. So I asked about a refund they said no refund till they had item back I said I had no control over the item as it's impossible to talk to Hermes, answer was the same till they got the item back no refund. So basically if the item isn't delivered or returned you still have to pay for it. Latest, items supposedly being returned to Aldi but no refund or replacement offered only if the item physically arrives will I get my money back. What's really disappointing is the attitude of staff they really don't care and give the impression that you buy from them it's their rules and if you don't like it that's tough.

Generally, we have been happy with Aldi, but today we had a disgusting experience. The advertisement had turkey on sale for $0.87 a pound. When we got there, the only turkeys that were at that price were 20 pounds or heavier. Anything less was TWICE as much--about $1.70 per pound! I checked the advertisement and there was no hint that this was the case. Now, you have to treat Aldi like everybody else, not an honest store.
